My favorite password management app!
Overall, I've loved using Lastpass to store all of my work passwords as well as all of my passwords and secure information for my personal life and family. It's made it so much easier to use safe, one-time passwords for each login, instead of one login that gets used everywhere.
PROSI love how easy it is to use. I love the auto-fill icons that appear on login screens and the "Generate a Password" feature that makes it so incredibly simple to create and use very secure, completely unique passwords for each of my accounts.
CONSIt can seem a little difficult to learn for new users, especially if you don't have a background in tech/computer security. The password resetting process is also really inconvenient and difficult, but I suppose maybe that is by design.
Reason for choosing LastPass
Through the recommendation of a friend of mine who was a computer software and security engineer. I love how it syncs between devices and I can share logins at work with coworkers who need specific access to things. I really love the Chrome extension of Lastpass as well.

A white-washed tomb
It was great... until it wasn't.
PROSThe product is easy to use and works really well. However, this isn't important if it doesn't actually do the one thing its supposed to: i.e. keep your passwords and information secure.
CONSI do not trust LastPass after the way they handled the breaches in late 2022. The intentionally made their communication vague and confusing to try to hide their poor management of our data. Their customer support is also lacking. When we went to turn off auto-renew on our enterprise subscription so that we could finish out the year but not purchase another, they deactivated our account. Luckily we didn't lose any passwords, but we did lost access to the admin dashboard which would have been helpful in the transition. And would be absolutely vital to a larger organization. Been in contact with their support about it and I'm pretty sure they are lying to me about what happened.
Reason for choosing LastPass
Because some of our staff was already using LastPass. However we have NOW switched to Bitwarden because LastPass has proved themselves untrustworthy with our data.

Work great, but serious concerns with their internal security
Very nice interface and integration with popular browsers, and works very well even on my Android smartphone and tablet.
CONSI have used LastPass for several years as a paying customers in our business, and I was overall very happy with the service and would recommend it easilly, but in recent years that had a few security breaches that were so amateurish that are concerning regarding their internal security policies and practices, and have placed customer's security at risk. Unfortunately, unaceptable for a security focused service.

Great way to share passwords with other team members
Crucial tool for sharing and secure your passwords
PROSLastpass eliminates the needs to manually share and save passwords. The password shared folder makes it very easy to share logins without showing the passwords to other users.
CONSSometimes the Chrome extension can be slow. Lastpass on Android requires enabling permissions every time the autofill feature is used.
Reason for choosing LastPass
Lastpass is easier to use and is more popular
Reasons for switching to LastPass
Lastpass is more popular

Password manager number one
Altough not perfect, this is best password manager and only acceptable with lot of features on Android. Windows is being done with any competitor, Android is really fully covered with lot of functionalities.
PROSLaspass is password manager on steroids. Most important, it allows autocomplete and generating (and remembering) secure passwords. Passwords can be shared with coworkers securely. All you need is to remember one secure passwords and let lastpass help you remember or generate passwords for any site or application.
CONSAutocomplete has issues sometimes, it closes the window, but that's rarely. Password sharing with coworkers could be more intuitive. Password generator is decent but "readable" passwords are still bit complicated (if you want to remember password specifically). Master password can be reset if you have access to your mail (that's ok functionality, but not secure). They also had breaches which is not great.
Reason for choosing LastPass
Android autocomplete features and simplicity of use on Android devices.

Secure, ease to use, and great for collaboration
Overall LastPass is a great asset to my business and takes the pressure off securely storing clients’ data and keeping track of all of my own passwords, both business and personal.
PROSI love how simple and easy it is to use this software, without compromising on security and great features. It’s easy for my clients to securely share the passwords I need to manage their social media accounts and I feel assured that LastPass will warn me if there are any data breaches.
CONSIt’s a shame they recently changed their free plan so you can no longer use it on multiple devices without upgrading. There are other tools out there which do allow this without the price tag
Reason for choosing LastPass
Recommendations from friends and it’s a well known brand within this industry which gave me confidence in the security of the product

Better than a spreadsheet or a sticky note
Overall, my experience has been stellar. Much better than the competition. Easy to use and easy to share passwords with team members and family.
PROSWeb based and no need to download a file to import to access my passwords. The mobile app integrates directly with almost every app I have and I can login using my LastPass stored credentials.
CONSI wish there was a field for tags. There is a "Folders" feature but I would love the ability to tag my passwords and easily sort them.
Reasons for switching to LastPass
I needed the ability to share passwords with team members and family. 1 Password did not offer this as a feature at the time I switched, a few years ago.

LastPass is a great enterprise-ready product for secure password storage and sharing
It has been a great enterprise tool that has kept us from storing password in insecure places or sharing passwords using insecure means (i.e., email)
PROSSolid security, good organizational structure, functional browser plugins, easy integration with MFA
CONSIt can be difficult to share passwords from folders where you can view the current password, but are not allowed to share. This means you end up creating a duplicate of that item in a space where you can share just so that you can exchange the password with someone else. This duplication can lead to future confusion when you are updating sites and passwords.

Last Pass - just simplifies your security
I've used Last pass for a very long time and it's met my every need. The ability to sync and fill passwords on any device is amazing. The security check-ups happen automatically and non-intrusively, so you can feel safe.
PROSI love the security audit of passwords. It's easy to see which sites are at most risk with simple or duplicated passwords. Makes it easy to keep on top of your security. It's also great to see breach detection alert you to compromised credentials without you having to go search for it.
CONSThere's no dedicated desktop app, and the only way to use it is with a browser plugin. I would love to see a Desktop app with global shortcuts to enable filling of credentials into non-browser based applications.
Reason for choosing LastPass
Primarily the price, but I prefer the way that Last Pass integrates with the browser over most alternatives.
Reasons for switching to LastPass
I wanted a cloud based data sync that had good cross platform usability. Having the mobile application and credential integration in iOS and Android is a must.

With LastPass, I no longer have to keep one password across all products and services I access
I no longer had to keep requesting for password changes from service providers because I simply couldn't remember what the last one was. And also Lastpass helped me rid of a lot of bad practices like sending unencrypted emails to myself with passwords, or keeping the same passwords across multiple products and services.
PROSGenerating passwords can be very frustrating -- my choices were either too weak (and got rejected) or too complicated to remember easily without needing to note it down somewhere. To solve this problem, I would typically come up with one password every year and use it across all tools I use. And this was very risky, because once someone found it out, they could access every single thing I used. With Lastpass' robust password generator, I no longer have to worry about that. I am able to generate unique and strong passwords for each service and safely tuck it away without needing to keep it in memory.
CONSI wonder if there could be a system where we could create baskets of associated passwords within the general vault. This would be useful in situations where I needed someone to do some work on some work tools that required password access. I could then give them access to the general vault and the specific basket with the tools they would be using.
Reason for choosing LastPass
At the time, Lastpass seemed like the more secure option. And it came recommended by our systems administrator

Easy to create, store and manage all your passwords in one place
Great - Improved my teams ability to share passwords securely and personally it has enabled me to have much stronger passwords for everything - personal and business. I just wish I could convince my Mum to use it!
PROSThe browser extension and mobile app just make Lastpass so easy to use. I love that I will never have to think of another strong password as long as I have access to Lastpass as the generator is great for this. Knowing my personal vault is completely secure, but that I can also add any password in to a shared folder to enable collaboration across a team is great. And there is no better feeling than only having to log in to one application and know that wherever I browse to if I have an account the credentials simply populate from Lastpass automatically.
CONSI find provisioning users a little labour intensive - but that might be because I haven't ever looked to see if there is an easier way. And if you have a login page which asks for more than 2 credentials e.g. account name, user name and password... but as long as you put the account name in the secure notes of the password entry on last pass it's still easy to find.

A very good and easy password manager storing system online
Reasonably good pricing plans for business, single users or families. Features i love are the NOTES, the notes are really important for me since I use them a lot for any type of passwords that are not used with your computer, example: your alarm system or your school locks or anything else.
PROSI use LastPass Business everywhere, on my desktop, my phone and all my browsers. It is very easy to use and very practical. The Strong password suggestions is very useful.
CONSSharing issues I’ve had some issues with the Family sharing in the past where a family member shared a few passwords, I accidently deleted all his shared passwords in my family sharing center and that person that had shared the password just lost all his original shared passwords (from his lastpass account. I have not had this issue with the Business, but I will make test just to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Hard to get prices with the business plans.
Reason for choosing LastPass
A lot more friends and family were using Lastpass.
Reasons for switching to LastPass
A lot more of my friends were using Lastpass so i had to make the change.

Game changing tool.
Seriously, a game changer for our team. Allows users to have access to their own passwords vaults on both their PCs, Macs, mobile devices. But then we also have shared accounts that we manage as a team. It's nice to be able to share and manage those accounts, so when a user leaves the company, they're not taking credentials for these accounts with them. It's been a great tool for us.
PROSLastPass makes keeping track of passwords possible, even for a team using shared accounts. For the most part, it handles creating / managing sites completely on its own. Easy to share / export lists or vaults. Makes it possible to manage access to passwords when a team member leaves the company, etc. Has been a great tool for us.
CONSIt can be a little cumbersome to setup the first time, but it's not because of the tool, just because of the amount of information that needs to be entered.
Reasons for switching to LastPass
We switched from KeePass due to simpler cross platform implementation (we had many PCs, a few Macs, and iOS / Android devices to support).

Best in the game
I started using it to keep track of so many different accounts and it’s passwords and after getting used to actually using the software, I just started to understand how important it is to have unique passwords. So that’s a huge benefit.
PROSThe synchronization feature, the way it works with the browser, very easy to use and very safe.
CONSThe safe design, it’s quite confusing to copy passwords or login information if you’re on the browser.
Reason for choosing LastPass
Because at the time they had free synchronization, but after they started charging I just had to keep using it, since I really liked it and had already introduced to colleagues and family.
Reasons for switching to LastPass
Because it was confusing and not really a space easy enough to organize all the login information I need for my company.
