Pros
- McAfee is the perfect tool that provides advanced treat detection system. It can be installed in different devices I have experienced on several devices it gives reliable and secure services.
- Great value Excellent securityFlexible and compatible with most systems Great insights and dashboard.
- The best thing about McAfee antivirus is that the free version of the software is very effective and does not compromise the safety of your PC.
Cons
- Customer service was not the best when I had to contact them. They charged me a ridiculous amount for my renewal and I had to fight that.
- One of the worst pre-installed softwares for most notebooks brands, it does nothing more than other brand except that it makes every notebook 2 times slower and ruins the battery life.
- The notifications are annoying and the amount of RAM it takes up is annoying as well.
Pros
- This is a good software overall. It is good for protecting things that you have saved and need to keep secure.
- Detects the viruses and other malware very soon and provides good protection from them.user friendly and is cost effective.
- What I like most about this product is that it can help protect your electronic device if there is malware or virus on it. It has almost all features that other antivirus softwares have.
Cons
- The cons for me was the ineffective parenal controls. File lock has been removed and also no kill switch for the vpn.
- I was hacked and thought I was talking to Mcafee and I wasn't and it was terrible.
- Confusing upgrades: Sometimes “highly customizable” can simply mean confusing.
