Select to learn more Comprehensive Security Protection With NordVPN, users benefit from strong encryption, privacy policies, and tools to block threats and maintain anonymity. It supports secure access on multiple platforms, protects sensitive data, and helps prevent hacking and unauthorized access for both personal and business use. Feature-Rich Private Browsing NordVPN offers robust privacy with strong encryption, a wide range of server locations, and features like Double VPN and kill switch. Users appreciate its fast, reliable connections, compatibility across devices, and ability to access geo-restricted content without significant speed drops. Extensive Global Server Network NordVPN provides thousands of servers worldwide, allowing users to easily switch locations and connect multiple devices. The large server selection ensures stable connections, fast speeds, and flexibility for accessing content or maintaining privacy from anywhere. Payment And Refund Difficulties NordVPN users experience issues with payment processing, strict refund policies, and account activation delays. Complaints include rejected cards, slow refunds, automatic renewals, and lack of free trial, making payment management and cancellation challenging. Variable Connection Speeds Users report inconsistent speeds, with some servers causing slowdowns, high latency, or connection drops. Streaming and uploads can be affected, and performance issues are more noticeable on certain devices or when connecting to distant locations. High Cost And Limited Trials NordVPN's pricing is considered expensive, especially for monthly plans, and lacks a free version or meaningful trial. Users find the pricing structure confusing, with the best rates only available on long-term subscriptions, making it less accessible for budget-conscious users. ## NordVPN Pricing and Plans Starting price: $11.99 per month Free Trial Free Version Basic $11.99 flat rate, per month Plan includes: - 24/7 Support - Ad Blocker - Browser Extensions - Malware Protection - Maskyour IP - Multi-Factor Authentication - No Data Leaks - Private DNS - Protect Your Data - Secure Internet Read More ## NordVPN Features - Popular features found in VPN Encryption IP Masking No-log VPN Secure Browsing - More features of NordVPN Access Controls/Permissions Activity Monitoring Application Security Authentication Data Security Financial Data Protection Firewalls Monitoring Network Provisioning Network Security Policy Management Real-Time Monitoring Reporting/Analytics SSL Security Threat Intelligence Threat Response VPN ## NordVPN Integrations Google Chrome Integration rated 4.9 from 19 reviews Firefox Integration rated 5.0 from 10 reviews ## NordVPN User Reviews ## NordVPN customer ratings - Overall rating: 4.6/5 - Total reviews: 1,395 ### Rating distribution - 5 stars: 972 reviews (70%) - 4 stars: 346 reviews (25%) - 3 stars: 51 reviews (4%) - 2 stars: 13 reviews (1%) - 1 star: 13 reviews (1%) ### Secondary ratings - Ease of use: 4.6/5 - Value for money: 4.3/5 - Customer support: 4.3/5 - Functionality: 4.6/5 --- ### Flexible VPN with Smart TV and Firestick app - Overall rating: 4/5 - Reviewer: Lance C. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Information Technology and Services - Company size: 51-200 employees - Product usage: Used weekly for less than 12 months - Reviewed: April 2026 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 4/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros Ability to download app to smart TV, phone, computer, firestick, and other devices. My overall experience with NordVPN has been outstanding. I am astonished by how well developed of a VPN it is, while also being very user friendly and easy to navigate. The connection speed is instant and I've never had a problem connecting to any country in the world, especially the lesser known countries for example countries in Africa. A great product I wholeheartedly recommend. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros I love that NordVPN is so accessible in many different countries, and within larger countries you can select a more specific city to connect to which makes it a very detailed VPN. The user interface is very user friendly and allows you to navigate the world map and select which country you'd like to connect to, and when you click "connect" the performance is great and the connectivity speed is instant. Once connected it will assign you a anonymised IP address which is great for anonymity. #### Cons I would say the thing I like the least about NordVPN is the high renewal prices for the VPN, especially if you have signed up using a sign up discounted incentive previously. This price hike can be hard to stomach, but I cannot fault NordVPN at all, it has no learning curve and is very user friendly, allowing you to protect yourself online. --- ### Great for Privacy and Security - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Anamaria D. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Design - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: Used daily for less than 12 months - Reviewed: November 2022 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. It does exactly what promises and is an excellent protection tool for your devices. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros When it comes to browsing safely, there's no better tool to keep you protected such as Nord VPN. Even if you don't use it to access local websites it still protects your data and keeps your browsing anonymous. #### Cons The price is higher than other similar tools. #### Reasons for choosing NordVPN Better protection. --- ### Straight forward VPN for a reasonable cost - Overall rating: 4/5 - Reviewer: Bradley W. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Management Consulting - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: Used daily for less than 2 years - Reviewed: October 2025 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. Overall I recommend it. Cheap. Easy to use. Comes with validation evidence that it’ll do what it’s supposed to do. Can’t fault it other than speed deteriorating if connected to one server for long periods (days). #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros The ease at which it allows you to connect to a VPN to secure your connection is excellent. The cost is great, but it did take a long time to find the voucher code/subscription combo that gave the best (lowest) monthly cost. Once sorted though, there were no billing issues and the product just works out of the box. The interface is easy to use; just click to connect. I’ve never had to contact customer support, which is a positive as it confirms it’s intuitive design. #### Cons The speed deterioration of connections and VPN blocking by some sites/tools can become a frustration. You have to be constantly mindful that your using VPN, and therefore if an app or website responds unexpectedly, you have ti disconnect and do your work, then reconnect. The new timed paused feature makes this easier. --- ### NordVPN Fast and Reliable - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Computer & Network Security - Company size: 501-1000 employees - Product usage: Used daily for less than 12 months - Reviewed: May 2026 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros A very intuetive dashboard, connects within 1 second, speed of internet doesn't drop, great value for money #### Cons When you are connected via the VPN it can still be detected The app looks a bit too crowded with features that are not necessarily needed --- ### Superb and reliable VPN which doesn't slow you down - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Will B. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Arts and Crafts - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: Used daily for less than 6 months - Reviewed: January 2026 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. A reliable and secure VPN which works hard to keep all your devices safe online, when abroad or using public wifi. It also looks out for dodgy websites which is super helpful and keeps your business data secure. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros NordVPN is an amazing and trustworthy VPN which can be bundled with a variety of other Nord Products seamlessly. This VPN is advertised widely and supported by a range of brilliant content producers on YouTube, who vouch for its usefulness when travelling abroad or on public wifi. I too enjoy how secure it makes you feel when surfing the web or entering password information. #### Cons The free trial is very useful but it should be made clearer that it is for the yearly subscription. The aggressive discounts also skew the real pricepoint, but I understand this is just a marketing decision. --- ### Great for personal use. - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Peter B. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Hospital & Health Care - Company size: 5001-10000 employees - Product usage: Used monthly for less than 12 months - Reviewed: April 2026 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically.
