Would highly recommend, especially for anyone wanting to better understand their cyber security posture. RoboShadow as a product has had a massive impact for our ability to discuss the cyber security and vulnerabilities of a company's IT environment. Helping to illustrate their situation has allowed us to show them how to move forward and secure their landscape, meeting compliance needs. Powerful, time-saving, intuitive tools to use. RoboShadow as a team have been incredibly supportive, working with us to ensure deep knowledge and awareness of how their tools can help us and our client base. The External Vulnerability Scanner helped identify risks quickly and gave fast visibility into open ports, unpatched systems, and weak configurations on systems that were managed by 3rd-parties. For a small team, that external lens was especially valuable. #### Cons The UI can be a bit busy, scan scheduling would be good as well, and reporting could be more flexible for different use-cases. #### Reasons for choosing RoboShadow Price point with the main contributor. The other products are quite expensive and whilst they are industry leading, RoboShadow provides us with similar insights. #### Reasons for switching to RoboShadow Pentest tools was being used as a vulnerability management platform, which it is not designed for. The information it provides from the general device scans is very insightful, let alone the additional information you get from the various scanners. This information is very user friendly in how it's present in both text and graphical format. The reports that can be generated are some of the best I've seen from a vulnerability management solution - very easy to read, lots of colour to easily identify differing criticalities, etc. Very good value for money from an MSP point of view. The level of functionality and information you get access to, especially with the WinGet library, is second to none! #### Cons The only downside I have come across so far is the company/support being UK based. No incentive was offered We're an SME and have been using RoboShadow for several years after our Cyber Essentials assessment partner suggested we try it as an alternative to some of the more expensive solutions we were considering. We were blown away with the platform and it's been our go-to ever since. Sadly we are about to stop using the product as our company has been acquiried by a large enterprise. Provides us with complete vulnerability management monitoring and reporting for endpoints, servers and network. Platform set up in minutes and the vulnerability agent rolled out to our entire estate within a few hours. Incredible functionality which has helped us stay secure and prepare for all our IT security assessments. The team are constantly introducing new features and are always open to feedback. #### Cons There's nothing I don't like about RoboShadow. I'm only disappointed that it's not yet recognised as a tool for Cyber Essentials Plus. #### Reasons for choosing RoboShadow Although we were away that there was a free / low-cost version of Qualys, at the time we heard it was quite complicated to set up / host. We decided to try RoboShadow first. The setup was so easy and we could access all the essential features for free so decided not to look elsewhere. Withing the first day of using the Vulnerability Scanner and Cyber Heal we were able to reduce our detected vulnerabilities by a large margin quickly and easily and with limited disruption to our userbase! I have been able to use the AI Pen Test to be able to show our executives where issues our and what actions we need to take to resolve them with very little additional input from myself needed. It's a fantastic value for money and the Cyber Heal feature is a great way to quickly and easily remediate vulnerabilities from one platform. The customer support is fantastic and eager to help and understand your issues and get them sorted for you. The Dashboards are great and easy to understand. You can get a clear picture of where you are in terms of vulnerabilities and The AI Pen Test is able to provide a great breakdown of the estate that you can pass on to executives to understand. Even better they are always working on improvements and are incredibly receptive to feedback. #### Cons Not so much a dislike but an observation. RoboShadow is still missing some key feature that would make it shine like the Linux agent and authenticated vulnerability scans. No incentive was offered As a small MSP we have invested heavily in automation for patching, endpoint security and management but we have long searched for a product that we could roll out across our contract clients that would give us some metrics on how secure our clients sites actually are and whether our automated functions were having the desired effect. We approached all the usual providers but the quotes we received back weren't, ahem, tenable. Then we came upon Roboshadow that provides us the ability to measure, thus manage, our clients security profiles in ways we have never been able to before at a price point that makes it possible to incorporate the software in our standard contract price rather than delivering it as a paid for "extra". This is product is game changing for us as, for the first time, we have the ability to really measure and document the effect our automated systems are having so we can demonstrate to the client what we do. It has also highlighted areas where we can improve. Love the Cyber heal to automatically fix issues. For onboarding a new customer, we can even perform a small pen test to start the conversation. And it's not an Indian/US company. Support and folks at RoboShadow are really great to work with and very responsive. #### Cons It's under constant devellopment- which is good because they go crazy fast. Some features are missing or are not fully there yet, sometimes things change place. No seperate modules where you only need a fraction form each module like Secpod. I use other software for patch management and vulnerability identification (due to integration in my current processes), but none of them give me the human readable format that this does in a way I can give to my clients so that they can understand the trends and what I am actually doing for them. For my paying clients that want to know their stuff is actually being taken care of (not break/fix) this is the best visual representation and integrated vulnerability response package I have yet used. If you are supplying MSP services, this should be rolled into your stack. I have found that the Cyber Heal makes it so quick that it's worth paying for, however, it seems like the updates take a while to register and for the reports to show cleared. I figure that's probably due to how it ingests the information and the timing cycles... by the time I look again as part of my processes (not just fix and check) it's updated. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 4/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros The reports are the super star around which everything else is a supporting cast. The Cyber Heal feature makes it easy to go from report to response quickly to address issues in the moment using integrated WinGet repositories (and allowing MSI and other updates). The vulnerability scanning is a must and with RoboForm, it breaks it down by device. With the external Penetration Testing (Pen Test) it checks for vulnerabilities at the gateway and with the website. It's affordable. #### Cons It took a minute to figure out how to set it up in a multi-tenant way. The AD Integration for micro SMBs took tweaking and didn't always work well... not that it gained much when it did. The pricing structure is vague (even though the pricing is affordable) #### Reasons for choosing RoboShadow I actually use them in conjunction with Adlimun (N-Able MDR), SentinelOne & Action1. We use the solution every day to keep everything patched and secure. The AI pen test is amazing, saving us time and money.
