CWA Process & QM Suite is a cloud-based business process management (BPM) suite that helps companies to manage the workflow of their employees. The software provides tools for resource modelling, process optimization and publication of processes and documents.
Users can create process maps to identify key management processes so that all employees have access to business structures and dependencies. Process modeling can be completed using BPMN notation. The symbols display feature allows users to represent elements such as documents, standards, key data, risks and roles using symbols as part of the modeling process.
The software provides automated workflow management tools that help manage reviews, approvals and publications. The program also features graphical representations of changes users have made to process workflows. The document management system allows users to note when they have reviewed, modified and exited a document.
The software is available with a one-time license fee.

CWA SmartProcess is our tool for knowledge management focussing on business processes. All our processes are mapped in this tool, it is a key part of our Quality management system and is esential for our ISO 9001 certification including the recent transition to the newest standard.
The tool is very flexible, easy to use and pretty straightforward. It can easily be customized and provides a very good overview about all our processes.
Some users were struggling a bit when using the process explorer to design processes, but this could be solved rather quick.

The process modelling is intuitive and helpful in both the design period and for users. The customisation options give a plenty of flexibility. Document management options are easy to use and great for organising controlled documents.
It is not always easy to find the correct settings that you need to change and the workflow management takes time to get used to.

I like the new front-end that came along with the update in June 2018. Especially the document management system is very handy and simplifies my job in the quality department.
There are periods when the software is somewhat slowly. A few features are missing, like some field functions to readout ALL information you want into your documents.
