Identified Recruit by Workday is a cloud-based recruiting solution designed for midsize and large sized companies. It offers candidate messaging, social media data and screening functionalities within a suite.

Identified Recruit offers with a pool of candidate data sourced from social media profiles. The product also features keyword search, which allows users to pull the list of prospects based on their current organization, designation, skill set and location. Once a candidate is found, the recruiter can qualify them and add them to the messaging queue. After the list of prospects is completed, users run campaigns from within the system.

Aesthetically pleasing, let’s you start and stop self reviews easily, easy to find inbox from the home screen (I found myself treating the inbox like a hub)

Cons

I often found myself confused about where to go to complete tasks or find documents. I found myself clicking in a circle, ending back at the home screen , and ultimately using my inbox as the way to find anything. Maybe I just wasn’t paying enough attention, but it seems like it shouldn’t be so hard for the occasional user to find what they need

Once you logged in successfully it is really easy to use. Their new graphical user interface also is very modern and mobile friendly.

Cons

The biggest issue of this software is the authentication part. If you have multiple emails it would be a headache to have one account with all of them. Also, on mobile app I experienced lots of failures.

An excellent platform for tracking employees and developing a globally manageable company structure.

Pros

The reports we need to run and easy and quick, and the supported hierarchies allow for easy tracking and global workforce management. Our key LMS and CRM softwares integrate flawlessly, allowing for pinpoint reporting and actual time data capture. The graphics and user experience are excellent.

Cons

It can be slow and difficult when accessing from phones/tablets. Our field service techs and sales reps often report issues when working abroad. This may have more to do with their connection/service issues, however it is still a headache I thought worth mentioning.

Over all it is a good application that makes it easy to track time and verify the time that your employee worked.

Pros

Very good interface, very intuitive and very error forgiving. It allows you to put time in by clocking in or by adding the time. There is also important information about your employment. Like if you are a part time employee you cannot work more than 20 hours a week an things like that. Very customisable.

Cons

The mobile application has a difficult login and its hard to navigate. It is not as intuitive as the web interface and it is hard to submit time or correct time errors.

Also I think they should offer a way to transfer old data because now I do not have access to my old W2's which I had access to for a long time.

Pros

easy to locate the options on what you are looking for, nicely separate selections to make with images to make it look more aesthetically pleasing.

Cons

too many selections need to be made in order to clock in and out takes roughly 20 seconds to load each option which takes up time when you need to clock in and only have desktops at work yet we have to select it every time clocking in and out. Usually takes me 2 minutes to clock in to finally make my selections.

I used workday for approximately 5 years as a user. I find it very useful. This tool track all HR related activity as well as employee details. This cover employee personal details, appraisals, employee thought out journey in organisation. It gives snapshot of whole employee journey in one click.

Cons

The only issue i saw in workday is integration with other channels like lotus notes or other applications. We need to take a dump of the database manually and transfer information to other system for integrations.

A little expensive but WELL worth the cost - the ROI will more than satisfy you.

Pros

As a SBO, I need to get the scheduling and manage various changes (such as people getting injured or ill or on Family Leave). Workday provides this for me and my lead staff members. It aligns the financial performance with the HR (people) performance, giving you a broad view of your organizational performance. The reports can be up to the minute when thing get tight or quarters are ending, or you have that meeting with your investors/board. Support team is excellent.

Cons

It is a steeper financial investment for a small business owner, but the benefits will surprise you.

Cons

There are some tweaks that could make things a bit easier to find. A lot of new hires need quite a bit of help figuring out how to use Workday. I would say after they have used it for a little while, they are able to navigate. It just takes some time.

The configurability throughout the system makes it easy for the functional folks to be able to primarily support it.

Cons

Sometimes with it being so easy to use it can be a little challenging for instance with the "google" search approach - it's easy when you can guess the right word(s) - and sometimes this is very simple but it can be frustrating if you don't know the key words to use.

Cons

I haven't had any negative experiences on the user end. I imagine that one of the prohibitive features on an employer end (particular for non-profits) is the expense.

I like the fact you have different applications all on your home screen. It makes getting access to your time card, benefits, and time off simple. If your company chooses to have different applications on the home screen they are able to do so.

Cons

Entering your time for the week is a bit tedious. You have to search for the "time type" and then enter your hours. If you don't choose the correct time type then it will not accept your time.

I like having all of my pay, benefits, leave time, etc. info in one central place. Workday makes it easy to find exactly what I'm looking for very quickly.

Cons

They recently refreshed the interface and it's not as intuitive as the old one. I also think the old one just looked better overall. In the new design, it's not as easy to find what I'm looking for because everything is nested under a few overall categories that don't necessarily make sense for each item under it.

Overall though, I have had a positive experience with workday. I like that I can log in with my fingerprint and I can easily clock in and out and view paystubs.

Pros

I am a designer and I can really appreciate when a company spends a little time and money on making an app aesthetic pleasing and usable. I log in and clearly know what i'm looking for.

Cons

Another app...I realize the beauty of capitalism is that anybody can compete with other companies. This isn't a knock on workday at all only that I wish I didn't have an app or payroll, a different app for benefits, a different app for this and that.

I love that I can look up my vacation bank at any future date before requesting time off, and it also takes into account any existing approved vacation requests in the interim. It makes it quite easy to securely plan your vacations. Time entry is easier than our previous platform, as well

Cons

When copying time blocks from previous time periods, the interface is a bit clunky, and it doesn't copy fields and notes by default when doing so. If you accidentally import time from a previous week without checking that box, it's impossible to delete those bad time blocks without going into each one and selecting a bunch of required fields. It's a real pain the butt when you click wrong.

Workday has made it simple to centralize the HR information of an employee and the whole organization and male it accessible to anyone at any time.

Pros

The UI is so simple and clean. It is super easy to navigate and work your way around the platform. We mainly used this to retrieve our payroll advice, track our leaves, accomplish our annual performance, goal improvements and even access correspondences. It also allows ease of use when viewing the full hierarchy of the organization chart.

Cons

The software performance can be improved. I also think the workflow is too restrictive.

Overall I really enjoy using Workday maybe one of the best systems I've used for payroll.

Pros

Workday is a great experience with a super friendly and easy to use UI. It's pretty straightforward to use and I've never had any issues with using it.

Cons

One feature in particular that I didn't like was with cancelling time off requests. You basically have to submit a new request to counteract the request. If you just need to edit something it's a very mundane task to complete.

Workday has been amazing with the time in and off. With Workday, timesheets are very organized, errors are little to none. Filtering of information is also possible and works so well. Our office has been using this for a while and found little to no problem with the software.

Cons

Most times, the software does not run smoothly even with a great internet connection. Often crashes. My team and I are hoping that this issue will be fixed in the incoming updates.

What I liked about the software upfront was running payroll the way I wanted to run it. This software also helps you stay in compliance with the every changing federal laws.

Pros

I like that once everything is set up, it is easy to use. Its like payroll/human resources in one and helps cut down on time spent doing certain payroll activities.

Cons

Cost is always a con but for certain software, I do not mind paying a cost but your company should be prepared to pay a higher than normal cost.

Coming from a mainframe environment this application is light-years ahead. This is really a self-service application allowing for easy and rapid reporting without relying on designated report writers.

Being a developer, I would prefer a way to navigate to what you want instead of "searching" for it and clicking through multiple links.
