Howard from Aspirus Langlade Hospital
Specialty: Radiology / imaging
We have used RISynergy at our hospital for 13 years and have always been impressed by their ability to solve your needs. The product was developed by Radiology minded people. Swearingen has proven capable of interfacing with just about any EMR, PACs or modality.
Their support has always been awesome. They do not dollar you to death. The software is capable of producing a large nmuber of useful reports on demand.
We currently use the installed client version, which is very stable. They have a web product that is near release, which may appeal to customers.
Swearingen is a relatively small company. Some view this as a negative, however, it allows them to really focus on their customer base on a personal level.
Look at value for the dollar. RISynergy will out perform the competitiion at a much lower cost.

The vendor offers more than a product. This is truly a partnership where we get to collaborate and develop the software to meet our preferences and ultimately support a positive patient experience. The Swearingen team welcomes ideas for improvement and is capable of making customized enhancements to fit unique workflow challenges.
We are excited about the future of the Swearingen product line which includes a "web version". We hope this is something that will be ready soon.
Simply make a call and speak with the Swearingen team. You will feel like you have known them for years and I can tell you the way I was treated in the beginning is the same way I am treated over 8 years later. They aren't happy unless you are happy.
Paula from InterMed P.A.
This product is user friendly. We have many people in our department that are not tech savvy and they love how easy it is to navigate. The customer support is the best. I never get a voicemail or have to wait on hold. Any issues that we have, which are usually very minor, are resolved in less than a few minutes. This product is by far one of the more stable systems in my department. We never experience any downtime.
There really isn't anything that I don't like about this product. It fits our needs in our Imaging department. The folks at Swearingen are very accommodating if you require any custom reports or features. They truly go above and beyond to make the product work for your individual needs.
Don't be deterred by the size of this company. They might be smaller than some other vendors but that just means better customer service. Anytime I reach out to them I am a person with a name. I deal with multiple vendors and this is refreshing. I don't get lost of the shuffle of the crowd.

RISynergy is a very intuitive software product that matches nicely with the workflow of the department. The vendor is quick to respond to issues which may include software changes to meet the needs of the customer.
Lack of interface-ability with some of the other major players in the industry, particularly as it relates to scheduling.
This product actually works. Other products like the McKesson Radiology look good and sound good, but they don't work and they won't fix it. Be sure that the product you buy matches your work flow, other wise you end up modifying your workflow to meet the needs of their software. This will add steps to your process.
