PROS

YouScan is a tool that simplifies the brand audit by providing crucial information about its strengths and weaknesses, consumer profiles and comments, top sources, influencers, etc. And we are a digital marketing agency that helps our clients grow sales and engage their audiences. With YouScan data and our professional expertise, we are able to give to our clients even more value.We appreciate the quantity of information YouScan collects as well as the versatility of its use, filtering, presentation, and reporting. Any viewpoint required can be obtained, and we can then present it to our client.We also enjoy asking Insights Copilot our questions because its intelligent and precise conclusions help us identify insights with minimal effords.

CONS

The tool meets our needs exactly. Although we don't have any major concerns, YouScan is constantly being improved, so we always share our suggestions with our manager and support staff.

Highly recommend Yuscan to anyone who wants to stay ahead of the curve in managing brand reputation

PROS

I work at medical laboratory environment, we were need of a solution to streamline and expedite our customer feedback tracking process. Manually sifting through feedback was not just time-consuming, but it often led to the discovery of already escalated discussions or situations that could have been readily averted had we been able to react more promptly. Yuscan became our ally in this, illuminating even the hidden corners of forums where feedback was left. It has also allowed us to spot untagged posts on social media where our company's name was simply mentioned.Also we use Yuscan alert system, any mention of key words or phrases triggers an immediate alert, which keeps me constantly informed and primed for action. With this tool, our awareness is heightened, enabling us to respond swiftly to potential crises or opportunities.Yuscan is not only invaluable for tracking customer feedback but it also offers allowing us to monitor our competitors. This has opened a window into understanding their communication topics and the channels they utilize, giving us deeper insights into our market landscape.I also liked their customer service. Their prompt, detailed, and amicable responses to my queries have shown me their profound understanding of their service, their passion for what they do, and their sincere value for their customers.

CONS

It takes time and desire to learn how to work with the system. We spent a lot of time to choose the right keywords for our queries. But the customer support service is very helpful in this.

Great mentions collection, still to improve with analitics

Overall after we've built social listening ecosystem, where YouScan role is just data collection -- it is fine, excluding the pain of manual downloading of several thousand hundred mentions when one download is limited to 10 thousand

PROS

Switching to YouScan from one of the international players helped us to gather much more posts in Russian. Also the software is better suited for local social networks.

CONS

However, it is not designed for multi-branded and multi-category business, where you would like to track SOV of over 100 brands in 3 categories. The software doesn't provide such ability from the box, so it is used for data collection and analytics are done externally. Data transfer via API is available only at the most expensive plans. Stories are not captured.

Powerful yet affordable social listening

PROS

What really makes YouScan stand out is how it's priced. Their "Starter" package shows they get what small businesses and startups need – great social listening tools at affordable prices. It's packed with all the essential features but at a cost that's manageable for growing companies.

CONS

YouScan's array of features, while impressive, requires extensive learning for newcomers. The good thing, though, is that they have an online Academy and a Knowledge Base. CS team is also supportive when we have any questions.

Excellent costumer support

Customer support is excellent, they are very quick to answer and always available to help with a solution. They are also open to suggestions on how to improve their software.I highly recommend it.

PROS

t's very user-friendly and visually appealing. Their sources are very varied and their AI tag is not perfect but very accurate. There are a lot of filters that make query writing and refining much easier. One small detail that makes a difference it tells you exactly what is wrong with your query so you can easily correct it. Other software I've used only tells you there's something wrong without highlighting where.

CONS

Setting a date range can be tricky, collecting historical data with high mentions can take a full day. The visual insights are great but you can't download an excel file or pdf with the URL's collected, it needs to be done manually.
