About ResourceXpress

ResourceXpress offers permanent (on-premise/virtual server) or SaaS subscription (Multi-tenant or dedicated multi-array servers). Used with permanently assigned workspaces, it allows display on Maps and searching using Q-Kiosk. It can be freed up into the bookable workspace pool by setting up users out of office parameters. Huddle-space licence can be used for any workspace using Qubi3 in meeting room mode (ie meeting title, now/next booking displayed). It allows display on Maps and searching using Q-Kiosk and provides mini low-cost meeting room panel functionality with full RFID authentication options. My opionion.

Overall is good. It still requires some things to be added (like find colleague to give users more convenient bookings, Outlook plugin, scheduling a coffee or some food for the meetings). Also it would be great step towards the future if RX would be opened to use more IOT devices.

PROS

RX is still growing and developing to meet business criteria. Its pretty easy to deploy and use. user interface is also very intuitive.

CONS

User management and AAD synchronization needs to be developed more. It works okay, but in large scale like 10-65.000 users it is way more effective is to use more AAD fields to help manage users and locations.

Reason for choosing ResourceXpress

That was rather historical choose as when RX came to us we were using Lotus Domino as main mail and meetings solution and RX was the product that was working okay with Lotus enviroment.

Great solution for room & desk booking

We've been able to better manage critical space and resources- which has become even more key post covid world where staff have needed to book desks and be assured of getting a space to work before travelling in to the office.

PROS

We have been using ResourceXpress for years now, and have always found it straightforward and easy to both use to manage our own room and desk booking, but also flexible to suit changing needs of the business. Recently the mobile app has been very useful enabling staff to locate and book a desk before planning a trip to an office.

CONS

We found it has worked well integrating with our Outlook-lead calendar booking approach already in place across the business. It's integration with Exchange attracted us, and we've stayed with the solution as we moved to M365.

Resource Xpress - great endpoint management tool

Incredibly positive. During our initial implementation they were on site and were able to address several technical issues very quickly. The team that manages the Support mailbox is very responsive and always provide detailed answers.

PROS

We use electronic nameplates and scheduling panels. They are connected to Resource Xpress which brokers the connection to the EMS / Accruent space management software. The configuration was straightforward and updates between the two applications are almost simultaneous.

CONS

Some of the hardware settings can only be updated by physically touching the devices. It would be nice if their system administration tool could be updated to eliminate that.

RecourceXpress is a core tool that increased business satisfaction.

We had the need to deploy an efficient solution for proper management of meeting rooms booking. Nowadays, here open/ collaborative spaces and meeting rooms have become the "new-normal" for facilities, having an easy-to-use & deploy solution was a very smart choice for us. The business did not even had to be trained due to its simplicity of use. The integration with our native G-calendar was also a key success from a UX perspective.

PROS

It's ease of utilization. Also, the look-&-feel offers a high-end perception for our business. It is great, but it also looks great.

CONS

Honestly,... hard to find a caveat. I have not received any single complaint since this solution was implemented.

We had already had great feedback from other countries that had implemented it.

Resource Xpress in VW Russia

PROS

The software is simple enough to install Can be deployed on 3rd party devices Frontends almost fully customizable Integration options available with 3rd party products

CONS

Localization not available The interface for amdins is confusing (table style , i think "blade style" UI is better, like Office 365 blades) Maps admin interface os too complicated for business users to use

Although the administration console is only available in English, we do have multi language options for our room screens and for the RX Mobile app. We are continually improving our admin UI and developing our Maps admin UI to make it easier for end users to manage.

RX Review

So far we have had a great relationship and support by the team we work with. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] are GREAT!!!

PROS

Like that we can populate the screens with useful AV contact info and QR codes with links to our AV hot to videos.

CONS

The current dashboard is a little clunky but we are in the process of upgrading to the new cloud based dashboard. Cant wait to try that out.

Connectivity of panels often have to be bounced.
