All the features, organizination, client ease, etc. for the price is AMAZING. The transition over is so seamless, if any help is needed it's so easy to message their wonderful team and you get a quick response. I Would never be able to imagine our salon again without Mangomint. Ratings Breakdown 5 Ease of use 5 Value for money 5 Customer support 5 Functionality Pros: The UI made the transition from our old software to Mangomint so easy to learn for all of our service providers. Even at the tailend of using our old software people were still confused about it. I explained how to book on Mangomint once and never had to go over it again! Customer Support is so quick, it's one of my personal favorite features about Mangomint. Within 10 minutes I have a response about anything inquiries or problems I may be having. It's nice feeling heard. One of the main concerns our bookkeeper kept bringing up was security. She didn't want us directly handling cards to keep on file but with the self-checkout feature there's no need to see the card and its convenient for the client. It's so easy to onboard and offboard staff with Mangomint. Even changing prices, adding services, vacation hours, etc. This used to be one of our most inconvenient moments with our other software. Value for money : It was easy to pitch to our accountant because it's more bang for your buck. Cons: I wish it was easier to see the patient/client information in a more condensed quicker way. The clients find it difficult to see all their appointments or access their portal. Maybe if it was sent with their text booking that would be better or something else? Like inserting a phone number to access a portal. Reasons for switching to Mangomint ui was terrible, terrible for clients to use, so inconvenient in every form, team wasnt helpful, constantly going down i thought there has to be something better than this, and there was! mangomint! Cons: I would like to see some clients card options, for example a specific folder or tab to keep color cards and products used in clients profile. Just the area to write notes isn't organized enough. Reasons for switching to Mangomint Other system did not function well. We were not able to see our schedule on our phone only the salon computer, when clients booked online there was always a delay on showing in our schedule. Once I finally received the software and got into it it was pretty fantastic. Ratings Breakdown 5 Ease of use 5 Value for money 5 Customer support 5 Functionality Pros: The ease of the software, even if you're just using it at a basic level it's not overcomplicated. All of the inventory tracking is really coming in handy because my business is now going in a new direction and the fact that it actually sends out notifications when it's supposed to. Cons: The fact that I have to buy credits for text messaging and other things instead of just a flat rate monthly usage. I feel like that could put me in the danger zone and I would end up with an unexpected overage charge. Reasons for choosing Mangomint Because it had more to offer my business. Reasons for switching to Mangomint Because it is a bad product that was ruining my business. Was losing customers because of the click rate and it caused too many problems during the checkout process. As long as HSA goes through, I believe we are here to stay. The ease of use, data transfer and absolutely kind, knowledgeable and professional support has been above and beyond any I’ve experienced in my 25 years as a medical massage therapist and spa owner. Ratings Breakdown 5 Ease of use 5 Value for money 5 Customer support 4 Functionality Pros: The ease of use for the client is so much better than Vagoro. I constantly got complaints about having to sign up for a third party to get an appointment. That’s gone. Onboarding was amazing. The support team has been exceptional and the data transfer from Vagaro to Mangomint has been exceptional. Vagaro was having way to many down days, especially on busy gift zero sales holidays. I have feedback for a year and told them I might be leaving. Nothing changed, so here we are. I am a smaller sized spa. However, when Inlokk at all the added up expenses with Vagaro, Mango Mint is not much different and the exceptional service and client ease of use has, so far, been amazing. Cons: Not having bundling has been a real negative for us and I’m sure many spa’s/salons. There are work arounds and they say they are working on it. So fingers crossed. The HSA set up has been ridiculous. That isn’t Mangomint but not is the credit card processing company THEY CHOOSE. this will be a game changer if we aren’t accepted I’ll have to reconsider. Reasons for choosing Mangomint Not enough massage therapy and spa specific options. Though, they do have bundling. There were others I can’t remember but looked and many. Reasons for switching to Mangomint Vagaro had too much downtime when we were unable to access the calendar or the program at all from both phones and computer computers. Especially on holidays when we sell most of our gift cards! I told them this was a major issue and gave them a year to make it better nothing changed. After the second Mother’s Day, I started looking. Also, I often got complaints from patients who felt uncomfortable with Vagaro‘s booking process. They did not want to sign up or give their credit card information to what look like a third-party booking company. I often got calls or text from people wanting to book directly with me, which kind of negates the purpose of having online booking. I have tried Booker, Vagaro, Styleseat, Acuity, Phorest, Zenoti, Meevo 2, Wellness Living, and Aura Salon. Mangomint has all the bells and whistles, and has NEVER crashed! The interface is smooth, glitch free, and not complex to learn. Most importantly their customer service support is top tier. They respond same day, and they actually follow up on your questions and concerns. A major plus is that they actually listen to their beauty professional subscribers and actually implement feature request!!!! I love how they have treated us over the years. One year I left to go to Booker, and switched right back to Mangomint a year later. I don't have the capacity to allow a software to make business ownership more difficult. Work smarter not harder. They've sent a representative to my salon and gave us merch and sent us cookies. They really value their beauty professional subscribers. Cons: I love every feature Mangomint has to offer!! Every experience has been very positive. The transfer process was pretty straightforward and easy. I really love the checkout process. It’s so easy to have services, products, appts, packages etc. all in the same transaction. The user interface for clients and admin is very intuitive and user friendly. And they are constantly making improvements. I used Square before, and also Acuity. Though they make sense so I don’t know that there is a better way to do it and still keeping the flexibility of the software. I scream it from the roof tops, clients also LOVE the system and it makes it fast and easy for everyone. It’s a little pricier than our last booking system but I don’t for one second think it’s not worth every penny. The reporting is also very thorough, we struggled a lot with that with our last booking service, where nothing was clear. Mangomint I can break it down with every detail. Cons: I would love for a way to schedule station sharing, besides that I can’t complain, I feel like every week they are adding new free features or listening to our issues and upgrading the systems already in place.
