Pros/Cons
Pros
- It's essentially the best desktop mail client I've ever used. Easy to navigate, easy to organise and super easy to personalise which is a great feature.
- I love the fact that it offers, email, Calendar and acceto contacts at the click of a button. Also great free version of the software, it has everything Outlook had but free.
- Email client is a very interesting email client, reliable and a excellent alternative to Outlook. Easy integration with Gmail.
Cons
- Multiple , consistent problems causing complete loss of all eMails due to database curruption. Consistently r'cvd msg 'Checking for database corruption due to improperly closed.
- They blame it on "incomplete headers. I submitted header comparisons between all sorts of mixed up messages showing no difference.
- The deliberately made a confusing choisce of versions, so I ended up, not accessin my old database, and lost also plannig, many monts ahead.
Pros
- I love that Gmail is easy to use and has great features. It has auto-complete, it is easy to organize folders and search, and the interface is great.
- Gmail is like my childhood best friend, she is reliable, always available, I can talk to her about things I cant tell other people.
- This helps alot in my day to day activities at work. I send similar emails to many of my our customers, so it is super helpful to have saved responses that I can put in my "back pocket" for later use.
Cons
- The one thing that I dislike the most is all the spam emails I receive. Even after deleting them I always seem to have tons of spam in my mailbox.
- The only downside is the access to the Spam folder that needs to be expanded to view, making it difficult for ordinary users to find.
- I dislike that Gmail does not always filter Spam correctly. Sometimes, valid emails end up in my Spam folder.
