We had some initial difficulty in the restrictive options of the responses patients could use in responding to the texts.

This has been the best customer service experience we have had. Luma has been very responsive and attentive to our needs.

It is extremely user friendly and is of excellent quality. Lets not forget that their team is extremely helpful and always follow up.

There are a lot more positives then negatives. For my money it has been so helpful, it’s like having a dedicated employee for a fraction of the price.

One of my favorite features of luma is the ability to provide an on-demand link to patients that has easy to follow prompts. This sets luma apart from many other platforms.

Sometimes the broadcast are difficult to send.

The fact that the team hid from us the lack of integration with our EMR until very late in the process.

Luma's patient engagement communications can be as complex or as simple as you wish, but the ease of use and their customer support is top notch regardless of how deep you dive.

Compared to some of the other products in the patient communication space, the team really understands user experience and business operations. It is easy to use, modern, and always improving.

Luma has features that we haven't fully utilized, but the ones we use are so helpful. As far as support, the support team is very quick to respond and help resolve any problems.

We also love that it integrates with our EMR so it can automatically send messages to patients after they leave their appointments asking them to rate us.

We went to Luma health to get an option that offer our patients the ability to book online. They confirmed their software integrates perfectly with our EMR.

Apart from certain that things that can be tweaked here and there, the software is really nice.

Luma has also brought a suite of texting tools that have largely shifted incoming patient interactions from our phones to their texting web Hub which the front office staff and the patients love.

I feel our practice had an excellent overall experience with the texting and survey product that Luma offers. Our set up was quick and I received as much support help as needed.

My personal favorite thing about Luma is there willingness and desire to grow and adapt their product based off of their customers needs.

Luma has done wonders to help bridge happy patients with our Google and social media pages to share their experiences with us online.

Clients can cancel appointments through the portal, which then notifies the clinician, but if a clinician cancels an appointment, again no notification is sent out to the client.

The support staff is amazing and very helpful. For me, that is the best part of Therapy Notes.

My overall experience with TherapyNotes has been great. They have done an amazing job creating this software.

I particularly love how the treatment objectives auto-populate into progress notes to keep you on track with monitoring and updating those.

It was relatively straightforward, great price, could do insurance billing for you, includes treatment planning, integrated CC processing.

If you have a problem, they spend hours blaming you. When that’s not the problem, they escalate and/or refer to the “development team.

They even have a telehealth platform integrated. The customer support is top notch, quick to respond, timely and efficient, helpful and always pleasant.

In February, when I was warned of a charge pending for lack of compliance, I called Therapy Notes. They then told me it WAS required.

I don't need the condescending ways that TherapyNotes literally PREVENTS YOU from, rather than cautions you about, doing certain notes out of order. Cautioning is a superb idea.

Intuitiveness and ease of use, reliability, and ongoing enhancement of features that fit my growing therapy practice needs.

I love the quality, organization and ease of use. They also have an amazing customer support team that are available around the clock to give support.

Overall great and cost-effective in the long-term.

TherapyNotes is a cloud-based mental/behavioral health software system that includes electronic health records (EHR), a patient portal, patient scheduling and medical billing. The solution is suitable for practices of all sizes, including those with multiple locations or with providers who need access outside the office.


TherapyNotes provides access to several types of specialty note templates for various types of medical practices such as psychotherapy, psychiatry and behavioral health. Using TherapyNotes, medical professionals can create and customize treatment plans, progress notes, psychological evaluations, termination notes and more.


The solution also includes a billing module, which gives providers the ability to create statements and billing reports. The credit card processing module lets users enter/swipe cards directly into the system and save card information for future transactions. Users can create recurring appointments, set staff work schedules and send appointment reminders to the patients directly from the system.


TherapyNotes is an HIPAA-certified application and complies with PCI standards for data security. All data is stored in a fully encrypted SAS 70 Type II certified data centers.
