SpindleX is an AI tool developed by Synapsica that helps radiologists in automating the tasks involved in report generation of stress x-ray of spine. It automatically identifies key morphological features and accurately segments vertebral bodies for quicker reporting. It detects and qualifies several measures of spinal impairment, sagittal rotation defects of vertebral motion segments, baseline angles, and checks for convergence of baselines, which is an indicator of biomechanical dysfunction resulting from a ligament injury. It also grades the severity of loss of motion, and segment integrity, with clear quantification of translational motion.
