Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • They put ease in the planning as they connect you to your attendees. Their software was is easy to use, visually appealing, and helps to make your event shine.
  • I have been leveraging Eventzilla for my coaching classes for the past 3 years and I am super impressed with the user friendliness of the application and support from the team for any queries.
  • The cost was affordable. I loved how easy it was to setup the conference information, such as agenda, speakers, etc. I wish I had discovered earlier in the planning process.
  • Cons

  • Sometimes during e-mail blast to my participants, the header (automatic by Eventzilla) can be misleading.
  • I was charged approx $5 and I didn't know why. I didn't find a reason why within the site or in the constant emails that were sent to me telling me I was delinquent.
  • Ticket purchasers intermittently do not receive their PDF tickets. Sometimes ticket purchasers get charged twice for one ticket.

  • Pros

  • The tracking and having a leader board I think was fun for most people, especially those who were on virtually. Liked having a hybrid approach, best of both worlds.
  • It is a great solution for a clean, user-friendly registration system and app, that is still friendly to budgets. The app specifially is very easy to set up and use and has great engagement tools.
  • I really enjoyed using Whova, it was user-friendly and easy on the eyes. It was my first time using the app and I was able to figure it out in minutes and enjoy the fun.
  • Cons

  • Whova technical support was asking for screen shots to trouble shoot the issue. I ended up refunding over 50% of gross receipts to dissatisfied customers.
  • The one comment I have it removing the new notifications on the home screen. I hate having them there and could not get rid of them even going through every single article multiple times.
  • Pretty horrible if you have to explain an audience of 1000+ people that the app was down for >1.5 hours mid-conference.
