Sensible Cinema is a ticketing software designed to help businesses prepare seating maps and display show timings to sell online tickets. 20+ years

[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] takes good care of us. We stupidly switched programs 15+ years ago to a Windows based (we've used Sensible since it was DOS based) not knowing he had updated to Windows as well. WORST decision ever.!!!! [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] took care of use then too when we switched back once we found this out and we've never looked anywhere else

PROS

The Reports are exactly what we need in order for our accountant to do their job. Love the Kiosk too!

CONS

With the changes thats been made in the past years, I really don't see any.

Simplifying ticket sales

The intuitive and friendly user interface made learning and adapting very easy for both me and my staff.

PROS

As the owner of a small independent cinema, one of the things I liked best about this software was how easy it was to implement and start selling tickets right away.

CONS

One of my least favorite things is that I sometimes experienced speed and performance issues in the software.

I'm sorry I did not have an opportunity to work with you during the software trial. Since I do not know where you obtained the trial I can't even speak to whether you were using a version of recent vintage. What you may have downloaded in the wild on the web may literally be from a couple of decades ago and not indicative of hour our current software works on modern operating systems. That said, usually speed and performance issues can be traced using the task manager. Viewing the task manager on the server computer can tell us whether there is a memory, disk usage or CPU bottleneck which may be caused by other running software or simply a situation where your computer does not meet the system requirements for CPU, memory or disk access. For example, a McAfee scan can severely affect performance of any system while in progress and would typically be scheduled during non-peak hours. I would be glad to help you should you like to give Sensible Cinema a second look.

PROS

Pros, it was a pretty straight forward software to use and easy to find numbers and reconciliations.

CONS

Didn't have some features we needed when we were using it - when using it in years past there was no seating chart function to sell assigned seats, and no online ticketing system for a while.

I should note that by the time this review was written, Sensible Cinema Software had offered reserved seating (seating chart functionality to sell assigned seats) for some five years, starting in 2018. We have also offered online ticketing since 2002 and reserved seating was added for reserved seating in 2018. The reviewer may be thinking of our not having online ticket sales through Fandango for many years. We do currently offer ticketing through Fandango as well as white label ticketing through our theaters' web sites.

A Night at the Movies

It's always been good. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is and has always been been helpful. Especially in stressful situations. Sincere and overall, it's just a good product and experience.

PROS

Easy to use. No little gimmicks and it's fluid.

CONS

Only thing I can think of would be nit picking something. Nothing about the software that I do not like.

Very user friendly. Love talking to the admin [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. Anytime of day.

The ease of use, features, and customer service/support.

I really can't think of anything I don't like about Sensible. Again, I have used Sensible for 11 years, and I am very happy with it.

Easy to use and able to get a hold of tech support when needed.

PROS

It is easy to use and affordable. I am able to get a hold of tech easily.

CONS

Gift Certificates are complicated to manage until I got software for gift cards through world pay.

I'm guessing you had been using paper gift certificates before and Sensible Cinema only supports redemption of those in a legacy manner. With gift cards everything should be more fluid because we support those directly both for issuance and redemption through the software interface.
