Excellent. I use it every day. I work mainly in English, but English is not my native language. Because it is so quick to translate, I use DL all the time to check if what I am writing (mostly formal emails or research reports) makes sense and is the most natural way to say it. I also use it to translate entire documents.

In my work I need to read books written in languages I do not understand. Google translation most often yields unintelligible results when one wants to have a literary text translated. Deepl, on the other hand, gives a flawless translation. I found extremely useful the fact that it could translate almost perfectly the most elaborate texts. The translation needed very little corrections afterwards. It is amazing that the translation is so good. Google translation had me convinced that translation is always going to be the domain of human translators. Deepl yields perfect translations in no time, while maintaining the original format too.

I became a subscriber the moment I tried it. One feature that could be ameliorated is the fact that one has a limited number of docx files that can be translated per month. There are some months though that I do not use it so much. It would have been nice if I could then use my unused quota. But this is really a minor comment.

It is the most useful tool for my everyday work. It lets you choose from synonyms and different kind of expressing a concept / word / phrase. It's loaded with tons of phrases of the economical / legal area.

I dislike a feature that was added in the last months, that when you scroll over a word it turns blue and sometimes it's bothersome. It lacks phrases / expressions / words of the medical area. Greek language doesn't have a glossary yet. We need it! When I work in a particular translation, I would like it to remember how I translate certain words and use these words/phrases.

The quality of the translations, the ease of use, the ability to simply drag and drop PDF, Word and PPTs and get a good translation very quickly is a time-saver and productivity boost. The shortcuts for translating specific words quickly and the screen capture translation functions are brilliant. Being able to specify the style of language (formal or informal) as well as being able to set up a glossary for industry specific terms or local jargon and expressions really helps.

Would be nice to be able to upload PPTs and PDFs larger than 5GB. POTs are often so large with rich media that this limit is low.

It is not possible to activate a paid account on different devices. You get automatically locked out on others when doing it on a certain device.

DeepL Pro enables us access to real-time and accurate translations in a multitude of languages. This has not only saved us money on an agency to translate for us, but has also saved us time given that the native speakers have less editing to do once the content is translated.

One feature that would be nice is if you could save your top language preferences at the top of the language drop down to enable quick selection. Though, this is not too much of a burden when navigating options.

I love how professionally it translates texts from different languages together but the best feature is absolutely the ability to give a file and request for translation in supported languages.

the number of times we can use the file feature is limited, even on the pro version. if that limitation was at least more like 20 was nicer which currently is only 5 times per month.

It is great that you can upload the entire document and after a quick translation you can download it back without changing the format.

I miss the Croatian language, especially for Czech people it would be very precious because many go there for their holiday and some of them even have property there.

The product is very ease to use. I'm a French Speaker, and when i want to translate some documents in other language into French, the translation is very fluent.

Free trial has a limit of word number and it is a bit expensive but there is no student subscription. They also dont have as many languages as Google Translate has.

DeepL is the best translation software available in my opinion. The translations are very, very good and it is almost never possible to figure out that an AI translated it. Thanks to the API, I can also include translations in software that I use every day. So I can make my WordPress website multilingual thanks to DeepL or even translate tickets in Zendesk automatically.

In my opinion, the dashboard of DeepL Pro is a bit too clearly arranged. Here, more in-depth instructions for non-technical users would certainly be beneficial.

A big part of my job requieres comunication with people from different parts of the word, so having DeepL Pro do my traductions in an organic and natural way helps keeping the relationship with these people real.

I´m a big fan of usability, if it´s hard to learn, I will probably deter from using it. I will admit it´s not a solid life mantra, but this is how I function. DeepL Pro is intuitive and offers top level traductions. It´s made my work a whole lot easier, and I gained a lot of time with the auto traduction features. Not only that, the security of the services are at the same level of the quality of its traductions, some documents contain sensible information and they were always well protected.

One negative aspect is that I would have liked to see the web traducer and the TAO tools available in the developers side of the product. But its not actually something I 100 percent needed
