No incentive was offered Overall, it's a good system, although there are actually a lot of bugs. I've had major problems with invoicing this term. Direct debit is only sometimes automatic - you have to do it manually for some customers, and for others, it's automatic. There are some things that are a bit fiddly with a lot of going back and forth. It syncs with Quickbooks, which is good, but not everything - this requires a lot of manual process. Invoices frequently have bugs, and requires a lot of fiddly manual adjustments if there are lesson changes - it's not all automatic. Calendar changes aren't always updated automatically either. There's a lot of backwards and forwards. It's the best student/teacher management software I've come across for a tuition business, but to be honest, it's not perfect - still a long way to go. They don't do updates frequently enough - improvements are not very frequent. Basic functions like freezing panes for easy view of calendar is not available and the scrolling functions don't carry the subheadings so you don't know to which it's referring to. Teachworks doesn't have direct debit, but it does allow you to save client credit cards and charge those - so you have to save a credit card to a client's profile in order to charge it. 2. Invoices with lessons that have been changed on the calendar are flagged, and you can follow the prompts to update the invoice. 3. Calendar updates are available as soon as any lesson is changed - you just need to refresh the calendar. 4. We typically add new features & improvements every week which you can view in your account and on our blog. I personally have been getting support by Louise. She provides the best customer service support I have ever encountered. I can honestly say that its scheduling system is second to none! The calendar was actually one of the biggest things that drew me to TeachWorks and is what has kept me a loyal customer ever since. It is incredibly user-friendly and makes it so easy to move lessons around, reassign students to different tutors with the slide of the mouse when schedules change, and manage a very busy tutoring operation without making scheduling feel like a full-time job. I have tried other platforms over the years, and their calendars simply don't compare. TeachWorks nails scheduling! I also love the lesson notes feature, which allows my tutors and me to keep detailed internal records of what was covered during each session while also giving us the option to share appropriate progress notes with students and parents. The customizable forms have been invaluable for onboarding new students and collecting baseline test scores and other information we need throughout their test-prep journey. Invoicing is a breeze, the dashboard is full of reporting insights that I love seeing every day, there are tons of useful integrations, and I have been able to customize TeachWorks to work beautifully for the needs of my staff, students, and parents. #### Cons It is hard to think of much that I don't like about Teachworks. Hmmm. This has allowed for much more accurate invoicing and payroll. We also appreciate the ability to manage permissions. Our teachers absolutely love the notes section to recap the lesson and send notes to families as well. We love the results tracking for students. We love the ability to add all our different services and wages. This helps so much with a complicated pay structure. We like the ability to choose colors for teachers and students as well. #### Cons The new version is taking a little getting used to, and I don't love the colors, but that is a very small thing compared to how great it works. Also, anytime I have a question, I just write in and it gets answered promptly and thoroughly. But most importantly? It works! I never have to worry about anything going down, data being lost, etc. It's always up, always working:) #### Cons I just wish I had more time to dig in to features I'm not using! I also wish that they had a better system for tracking student test scores like ACT and SAT. I want to keep track by section as well as the overall scores as well as if it was a practice test or actual test.
