The only Con is that there are free tools like Postgresql that are also great, but they are not quite as slick as Sql Server.

You will come across error messages every once in awhile when performing tasks, however they are usually easy fixes.

Learning is slow. Initially, it takes time to understand the reports and pattern it finds out of the log. But it's worth learning it.

As a student I think price is high, but I think value for money is good.
