Pros/Cons

  • Pros

  • This software allows me to do very detailed and complex searches of email stored in exchange or in pst files, and of other digital files.

  • Sherpa is great because it offers powerful ediscovery tools in a usable package. I find it's a great tool for professionals who are not necessarily every day ediscovery practitioners, like myself.

  • Cons

  • The interface is a bit dated, but the functionality is there.

  • It is slower than other tools, although this is based primarily on the server I run it from.

  • Pros

  • It's relatively easy to use. Sometimes it runs very fast. Easy to upload files. Easy to make folders and tags.

  • I love being able to contact Lexbe whenever I have any questions. Their customer service team is incredibly nice, quick, and helpful.

  • Cons

  • Some parts of the platform are not immediately intuitive but pretty easy to learn over time. It can be a little harder to learn for people who aren't used to working on computers all the time.

  • Some features like document redaction and splitting are clunky. Sometimes hard to get it to sort the way you want.
