DocuSign Software


 

DocuSign is a cloud-based electronic signature solution for organizations of all sizes and most industries. The platform can be used to sign various types of documents including business contracts, school permission slips, agreements and approvals.

Users can upload documents, email them to signers and specify the order in which individuals should sign. Tags can be added to indicate where the document should be signed. Signature fields can be embedded into websites and applications, as well as into documents.

The dashboard displays the status of all the documents sent for signing. Users can see which stage the document has reached in the signing process and send reminders for pending signatures. DocuSign also enables users to send and sign documents in multiple languages.

DocuSign offers a mobile application for iOS, Android and Windows devices. It is available on a monthly subscription basis that includes support via an online knowledge base and DocuSign's support community.

I really like the ease of using Docusign. It is very helpful and useful, especially when you need documents signed and you are unable to physically have something signed. I like that you can have all your documents in one place and it can provide you a trail of where your document is at when multiple parties are involved.

Cons

On the back end, in provides fields on a document, it wasn't very user-friendly and hard to accommodate the field space on a document. Plus I would like more training to understand all the functions of Docusign.

Pros

The core features are easy to use. Sending documents and signing is straight forward. Everything works until you run into a snag you have to deal with customer service

Cons

Customer service is handled oversees. Besides language barrier I also found it frustrating that ever inquiry results in hanging on the phone for at least 30 minutes, being put on hold forever, and ending the call without a resolution. Trying to understand why my logo was gigantic although my file size was below max requirements or understanding simple notification features turned into a day full of frustrations.

Cons

There are few cons to be found about Docusign. I think newer technology scares older generations, maybe marketing towards those older gens would help because the new gens are already using Docusign.

Absolutely great program with customizable or standardized signatures. Very efficient and easy to work with support should something go wrong.

Cons

Occasionally you get a blank for the signature that you have to reach out to support to resolve but they can do so quickly and over the phone.

Docusign has been a huge help to our team. Our client files are easier to organize and it's much quicker to get paperwork completed with DocuSign as it is easy for individuals with any level of computer literacy.

Cons

The price tag is a bit high since we're a small nonprofit, but overall there aren't many cons. It would be nice if they added a feature to sense when a PDF form is uploaded with checkboxes already, though.

With docusign you no longer have to hang up the phone and hope that your potential new customer will sign the contract. You can send the contract over, review it with them and have them sign while on the phone. I've worked at companies with/without docusign and have witnessed the shortcomings of not having it, along with the good fortune (in more sales) that comes your way from having it.

Cons

For as good as docusign is, there are definitely customers of older demographics that are fearful of the technology.

Cons

They keep charging your card. They have horrible cancellation policies. Took me two calls after cancelling online to get them to cancel the account. I hope they don’t charge again next month.

Cons

Pros

DocuSign makes signing any form of contract so simple! I used Docusign for many of my forms for purchasing my home. This saved me so much time by not having to go down to my agents office. Docusign forms are emailed and at the click of a button you sign your name and send it right back. You always receive a copy back of your documents back which is nice for your records.

Cons

My only poor review would be the customer service. They do not seem to attend to your needs quickly and they are a pain to get in touch with!

Provides a convenient way to get signatures from business partners all over the world. Confidential and secure, I appreciate the "delegate" feature as most contracts need to make their way through several hands.

Cons

There isn't much not too like--DocuSign is easy, intuitive, and secure. My only complaint is that after I've delegated a contract to someone, I'd like to be able to recall it in case the contract terms are changed, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet.

Customer service with Docusign is great as well. They respond in a timely manner and are very helpful. I believe you can use Docusign through a free trial for a bit as well!

Pros

Docusign is AWESOME! I can send candidates an application to fill out before they come in or send employee's basically anything they need to sign such as change of status request, time off request, written warnings, etc. This saves me time, saves them time and money since they don't have to drive to the office, and makes my life so much easier! All they have to do is open, fill all the blanks, and/or sign! I can add fields wherever they need to be, add a text box to include a note, place signing fields, and so much more. Definetely worth the price!

Cons

The only complaint I have with Docusign is that once a document is voided, there is no way to look it back up. For instance, if I send a candidate an application and they ignore it, I would like to be able to see the voided document and reason it was voided so that I don't send them the application a second time. It would just be nice to be able to refer back to the voided docs.

Pros

Its very simple to use, i have used this software several times between my room mates and myself to have documents signed sense we are all usually working and do not have the time to get together all at once because our schedules never comply. I like the fact that it comes with templates that make it easier, and you can just edit them to whatever fits best for you!

Cons

I haven't found anything about the service that i don't like. It has served its purpose for us each time we have used it.

The program works well and is easy to use if you have a good general knowledge of computers.

Pros

DocuSign has more than the ability to just send and receive documents to sign but we only used that feature. It is easy to upload the documents into the program and easy to send them to a customer. Our customers were a bit hesitant to use the program at first but with time they have warmed up to the idea of just clicking a button as opposed to waiting for a document to be mailed and then mailing it back to us.

Cons

The older generation of folks who don't use computers much either refuse to use the program or just have a hard time figuring out how to sign and send the document back through the program. It can be difficult to explain to the folks who aren't familiar with computers.

This software allows you to get documents signed easily and quickly without having to coral everyone together to do so. The signatures are delivered immediately and help when you're in a hurry to finish up paper work.

Cons

If you make a mistake with your signature and don't notice it until after you've already given the ok (I.e. You put your signature in the initial box and visa versa) it is nearly impossible to fix the issue. It also repeatedly keeps the mistakes across all devices. It diminishes the usual time taken to read what you're signing, meaning signing mistakes have a larger window to occur.

1. This is such a tree-saver! It makes filling out tedious paperwork so much better when in a digital format like this.
2. Time-saver! I don't have to drive somewhere just to fill out paperwork needed, or drop off in the mail. You fill it out and the recipient has immediate access to it.

Cons

For the most part this software is spot on for my needs. There were a few times I noticed it being glitchy. I had filled out hiring paperwork for a company, and it was having trouble sending for some reason. That is the only time I have ever experienced the issue though, and I have used the software many times.

Pros

DocuSign has made functions in the office way more efficient when time sensitive information needs to be signed. It is very easy to send a document via email and it is a legal binding way of providing a signature. I use DocuSign weekly at minimum for banking and contracts.

It's helped simplify the legal part of running a video game business. Allowing us to draft up NDAs, publisher agreements, IP agreements quickly and have them signed even faster with copies going to all parties.

Pros

It's extremely easy to sign documents. That's really important for us when bringing on new clients who aren't use to using pdf software to sign documents. It puts it all in a pretty web interface and walks them through it and makes it easy to read.

Cons

Maybe some longer trial offers would be nice? We got exposed to this service by having to sign documents ourselves through bigger companies. The service itself is great.

What a great way to help our clients get all of our apparel work completed with less time and hassle. No more pricely couriers needed.

Pros

This has literally changed my job! We now use docusign for (almost) all documents we need signed. Made the real estate business easier, less paper copies so I can do more of what I love- which is show properties!

Cons

There are still some documents that are not legally binding unless we have wet signatures, so we cannot use docusigb. Otherwise we would love to use it for everything!!!!!
