PandaDoc is cloud-based document management software that helps users in creating proposals, quotes, human resources documents, contracts and more. The solution is mostly used by sales and marketing teams and company leadership.

PandaDoc allows users to choose from a variety of proposal templates, which are free to download and customize. It also provides options to change the language and currency used in documents depending on regional standards. With its collaboration feature, various teams can collaborate on a single document by commenting and in-activity logging. The built-in e-signature feature allows signers to approve and sign the documents from anywhere anytime.

PandaDoc analytics provides real-time statistics regarding who has viewed the proposal, how many times they saw proposal and how much time spent on the proposal. The dashboard provides an overview of proposal performance.

PandaDoc comes is available via a subscription-based pricing model on per user basis. It provides integration with Salesforce, HubSpot, SugarCRM, ProsperWorks and many more.

A great application to use.

Pros

The streamlined process from beginning a proposal through to sending it to our client ensures they are received in a timelier manner than what we have experienced before. Saving templates and documents allows for a more efficient preparation process, as you don't need to re-create everything from the start. We really like that we can integrate a client's information right through to payment at the acceptance of the proposal. The auto-save function is good to have as is setting up a payment to integrate to another system.

Cons

We found a few glitches when adding extra headers and text fields. Thankfully the autosave function allows you to exit back to the dashboard and you can return to your template without having lost your work.

PandaDoc allows your company to finalize proposals and deal documents with your clients. Instead of sending all your deal documents through multiple emails, attachments, and PDFs, you and your client can simply get everything signed in one PandaDoc document.

Cons

It's not a bad software, but it definitely needs to work on its integration with other software. We wanted to link our PandaDoc with our CRM software and have the signed deals to come through our CRM, and it hasn't been working. Customer support isn't the best either. I've reached out to them and they've looked at our issue a couple times, but then they never followed up even though our issue still persisted.

It is lacking the ability for comments for the clients I invite to sign my documents otherwise there is nothing I could think of to improve this awesome product!

Pandadoc is the most comprehensive quoting platform I have used. The templates are easy to use, I love the quote approval workflow, we can lock content blocks so we can control the level of freedom a sales rep has.

Cons

I think the only issue is the price. Pandadocs is expensive for small businesses but if you have the budget for it then it is great value.

Its interface is supercool, it is easy to use, design friendly, the library and templates are amazing to save time.
It also allows us to quickly create and send proposals from tablets as well as desktops. The chase function (send reminder) is excellent.
It is very easy for our clients to receive, review, and sign off on orders, contracts and more. It's also great the way you can save visuals and sections of documents into the content library for easy future use.

Cons

what makes me frustrated is T when you are creating tables within your documents, and you press "Tab" to move to the next column. It doesn't move you there, but instead takes you to the next "User" input field which is completely not relevant when you are creating a new document.
Some of my quotations arrive as a spam, so my futurs clients never receive them. There are bug with the typography (the size of the text change for no reason, the bold appears or disappear for no reason, etc).

Hard to change designs. There are some bugs when downloading documents in PDF format. Some of the layout features are limited.

Pandadoc is a very easy to use application. My team loves that it is completely mobile. Documents can be sent, viewed and completed on any device. The platform is feature rich and surprisingly self explanatory. The eTutorials are great. They provide screenshots and video grabs of their latest features and more.

Cons

Wish the formatting were more like Microsoft Word or Excel. Building out a document or template can take longer then expected.

If you have document that require multi level signatures with certain order, this is a nifty tool. You can also audit how long the recipient spent time each page.

Intuitive and very easy to learn. Also a little fun to drag the fields around. Makes it so much easier to get signatures, compared to using pen and paper!

Cons

If you start a document and send it out with the wrong email/name somewhere, that person/email becomes permanently associated with the document. Would be helpful if that wasn't a thing, but it's also extremely easy to start a new one.

Really professional looking program. I can customize my documents to whatever I need them to be. Very easy to manage sending and receiving signatures to and from our clients. Completely replaced the back and forth and trying to get signatures on contracts via fax. I can see when the recipient has opened the document or if they have any questions or concerns.

Cons

Sometimes it kicks out the clients when they are trying to submit the signatures. Also can be a little tough to set up new documents from scratch if you've never used the program before.

Pros

I loved the software for the basic purpose which it serves. I can easily drag and drop my videos, my pictures or any media file that I could imagine off and upload it on a single readable doc file with tons and tons of attachments. What I loved most is the integration of the word processor, spread sheet processor and presentation processor in a single go. Definitely would recommend to anyone who creates or sends business proposals

There is really nothing that would be a con for this software. May be if they could provide discount for small businesses would help out

Lead scoring in Panda Doc consists of more than 180 rules. These are various parameters, actions, and their combinations, for which we charge points to users. We use Hubspot, it's a third-party product, which, among other things, allows us to customize the logic of lead scoring. And the third important in all this story is the threshold value of the score. As soon as any user comes to our site, we begin to track where they came from and what actions they performed on the site. We don't send all the leads to our CRM-system. In general, PandaDoc helps us to determine which customers represent a great interest in our product.

Cons

The users should be ready to not the easiest learning curve because it is not always necessary to build the logic of lead scoring just on the basis of individual actions in PandaDoc. This is a fairly creative process, and I would advise any customer to approach it accordingly and not to lay all the responsibility on the product's data. Customers should generate hypotheses and look for various combinations of actions and characteristics that, in their opinion, can say that the segment of these users is very high-quality.

The coolest thing about PandaDoc is a total control on the document. You always know who opens the document and when, and also you can even chat with a client without a peep. It is great that chat function gives a possibility to stay in touch with customers. Another plus is an ability to create, edit and send templates. In addition, a mobile application is very useful. We need to admit that we like PandaDoc for its flexibility of the software and a variety of templates. In addition, the chat feature has become an integral part of our daily work, because it helps us to stay in touch with our clients constantly.

Cons

Unfortunately, there are some things that should be improved. First of all, it is a bit confusing when developers of the PandaDoc change a design, dashboards location, etc. It takes some time to get used to new updates. Second of all, the service doesn’t present a possibility for a big number of users to work on a particular document at the same time.

The idea is to get the sales team spending less time filling out all of the information needed to send a order form to a client and that was a challenge we're trying to overcome.

Pros

The concept is great I mean who doesn't want to make it easier to pull the data from your CRM and have it pre load into a document that you can send in track...

Cons

The problem is that the integration with Salesforce doesn't seem to be that great and so you run into a lot of issues with pre-filled tokens that are missing which ends up sometimes making you do the job two or three times.

There are a lot of features that can be useful. It is designed for many situation, therefore I would consider is a jack-of-all-trades software, master-of-none.

Cons

The interface is not very intuitive. It's simple... almost too simple.And things aren't clear on what is available. All these apps and upgrades... makes it very irritating if you just want to find one thing.

Cons

Thw program itself tends to be very slow. It will take minutes for the documents to open. When they do open, they take a couple minutes to focus, so all you see is blurry words.

We use PandaDoc for all of our client agreements. We used to use it for proposals as well, but we wanted more functionality so we strictly use it for agreements.

Pros

Super easy to use, yet still very powerful. They continually add features and make improvements but not in an overwhelming way. They are smart additions and the amount of functional integrations keeps growing. It really is the best overall solution and bang for the buck.

Cons

I do wish there was some more functionality in regard to design. You can create custom CSS but that isn't as user friendly. A fully featured WYSIWYG editor to make standout proposals would be great. As is it's still functional enough in terms of design.
