Mi-Co, Success in Mobile Technology
Pros
Paperless system that works like your old pen to paper system. Minimal errors due to business rules established. No data entry.
Cons
That more people do not use it. It is a great system that all companies, government should use.

Mico product review
Pros
Ease of design. Professional looking forms. We can easily change the business rules that each form or module of forms allows. Coding in the forms is easy to follow once you get the hang of the sections where the code exists. The vendor thru our account manager is very responsive to our questions and has worked some of our suggested enhancements into newer versions of their product. Part of the benefit to this software is the consistency of the design in the forms that we use across the system. In too many other products we have used it still is up to the software designer as to how the page will look. In Mico's designer we can easily design a form and based on the x and y axis position the various fields consistently across all forms.
Cons
Another development tool that we must stick to the vendors rules. However with the maintenance package they provide we do have customizations.

Mi-Corporation Data Capture Software Suite
Pros
Mi-Corporation provides an entire suite of products that complement each other. Some of the key features we enjoy are easy to build data capture forms in the designer, the publishing process of the forms to the Mi-Co server along with the seamless distribution of the forms to our end users. The processes are are highly efficient and easy to use all around.
Cons
The Mi-Co Client is a very processor/memory intensive application. Sometimes this may cause older systems to freeze, crash or other hardware anomalies. One other dislike is once a form is built for a target platform, such as an iPhone or Android, it is very difficult to change that form to interact with a full size PC without creating a new form.

CDP's Use of MiCo Forms Designer
Pros
This product not only allowed us to develop an off-line field client, which is absolutely critical with our product, but allowed us to create it in a way that eased the transition from paper to tablets by having the forms look identical to our clients paper forms. With over 300 individual users, even the least computer savvy of them was able to use our product with minimal training.
Cons
The memory usage. We needed to instruct our users to assure no other software (Office, anti-virus, etc.) was running when they used our mobile product.
