Makes sending Terabytes of data a breeze, anywhere in the world
Pros
The speed is up there with the likes of Aspera, FileCatalyst, Media Shuttle etc but at a fraction of the cost. No minimum monthly costs is a huge bonus, only pay for what we use. Since implementing this in our business, we've delivered over 1.2TB to clients and broadcasters around the world without any issues.
Cons
I do wish there was flexibility around the expiry time for packages and the ability to extend this after initially sending the package. Adding support for passphrase authentication on packages would also be a plus. Lastly, the option to hide hidden files when dragging in folders.

MASV is a gamechanger - easy & effective large file transfer with small-business friendly pricing!
Pros
Fair per-GB pricing avoids the massive licensing costs of the closest competitors. The In-browser, no-plugin system is much easier for our clients and partners to use. Their unique "portal" system makes managing multiple brands / companies / projects very easy. As a user since Beta the system has constantly improved over time. The system has generally been reliable and required significantly less technical assistance on our end than competing solutions. The design is clean and understandible, with fast, good-looking custom branding options. Perhaps most important the MASV team has been *incredibly* responsive to constructive feedback, feature requests, and has been appreciatively transparent when there's (rare) issues. The highest praise I can give is the number of other companies I deal with who upon seeing and using MASV to send us large files, have moved away from FTP and enterprise file-transfer solutions, and are now using MASV as well. I have told the team before that this is literally the file transfer system I have been (loudly) complaining that someone needed to make - and can't recommend it highly enough now that someone has.
Cons
There have been some occasional network reliability and browser / OS quirks through development (I've been a user since Beta) but, to be fair, MASV has been very good at transparency and acknowledging issues. The latest "2.0" major revision (which moved to an entirely new infrastructure provider) seems to have addressed all the major quirks, and (on our end) has been completely issue-free since release. There are a couple of features which we would very much like to see implemented ASAP (primarily automatic downloading of received packages) which are on the roadmap - but have been pushed back given the large infrastructure changes that (understandably) took priority to stabilize the core platform.

Charge by download, not by upload
Pros
Easy to use interface with only a few steps to get setup.
Cons
The billing practice of charging by download is very sneaky. Almost all other companies charge by upload. When you upload a 100GB file, at $0.25/GB, you think it will cost $25, but if someone clicks the download button a few times of has to redownload it since it didn't download to completion, it charges you for each one. I sent a $100GB file and ended with a $275 charge for that one file because the download was attempted a few times. I felt ripped off, customer support didn't care.
Reasons for Switching to MASV
I switched to transferXL since they don't bill deceptively as I experienced with MASV.

Reaches Beyond Expectations
Pros
I love that now you can have a portal and give the link to your clients so they can send you files very easily and securely without having to put in my email address manually.
Cons
I would live to be able to save some of the client email addresses that I use constantly so I don't have to manually write them every time. One of my clients wanted to send me a file and they typed my email wrong and it went to someone else, this feature will eliminate the typo problem and to have to go to your contacts and copy paste email addresses...!! Or maybe to have the option to import contacts into your account!

Best reliability I have encountered to date, and the interface is beautifully clear and simple.
Pros
Simple uncluttered interface, and the best reliability I have encountered so far. No need to compress files prior to sending. Excellent and responsive customer service. Pay as you go.
Cons
I would like to be able to retrieve previous recipients more easily, as in auto-populate the recipient email field. I would like to see the history archive not expire so quickly. It is useful to be able to verify past transmissions without having to sift through email verifications. It would be useful to have a simple way to add recipients once something has been uploaded. Or, receive a link I can forward to additional recipients.

Its been excellent
I can send large video files.. pay as you go.. and very fast.. its changed the jobs I can do.. I would not be able to do shoots that needed large files to be sent by internet.. now I can and its super fast.. even if Im send the main footage as a HDD by fedex.. I can also send the footage by MASV as back up and an extra service .. makes me look good..
Pros
That there is no size limit.. and pay as you go..and easy to use..and FAST..!! it has allowed me to take on shoots I wouldn't have before.. I don't want to FPT directly to slow client computers and I don't have edit software to edit or compress files.. and the speed with Accelerator is amazing
Cons
The one thing that would make it 101% for me would be that it could transfer empty folders to keep my SxS card folder structure..

Using Masv to move big files fast is just a no brainer. Works well. Only pay when you need it. Great
Pros
It does what it says it will do. Not complicated. No fuss. Only pay when I need it (Not often). Just makes sense
Cons
Masv Rush is not something I use regularly enough to complain about features. I guess multi user access would help but I believe they were adding that or maybe they already have.

MASV Rush makes sending large video files a breeze
A great "pay as you use" way to send massive video files. Plus, I really like our return "portal" which gives clients and others a way to send large files back to us.
Pros
MASV Rush is a simple to use and powerful way to send our large video files to our clients and outside producers. It's notification and tracking tools allow us to confirm files have been uploaded and delivered. When your business relies on sending and receiving 50-gigabyte files or larger, MASV Rush is a no-brainer.

Cons
The software development company have to do more often the upgrade of the App, and the file size will be less mb.

Fast and secure transmissions!!
Pros
Its easy and simple to use. Fast and friendly customer support. Right price for the service. Quack quack said the duck!!
Cons
Email correspondence does not auto-fill when typing based on contact list or previous emails used. Also not drag and drop of files. Don't like that you have yo choose if its a single file you want to upload or a folder with content in it. It should be a simple upload dialogue box regardless of files or folders you want.

I just wanted to let you know that we now have added an auto-complete feature to remember previous recipients emails and avoid typos. More information here: https://medium.com/masv/recipient-autocomplete-teams-beta-356bf8e1c5d We agree that it's annoying to have two separate buttons for files versus folders but unfortunately that's the only thing the browser allows you to do. Eventually we plan to add optional software which should get rid of this annoyance.

Used MASV for dozens of time sensitive projects, an they came through.
Pros
Pay for what you use, no subscription. Much Easier to use than similar software. Responsive technical help, especially when you are in a pinch.
Cons
MASV is a young company. They cannot get you into every corner of the World, yet! You pay more when there are multiple recipients. Not knowing ahead of time, whether a sent file will travel to the selected destination.

Very good. A premium service at an excellent cost and support from a dedicated team.
Pros
Simple to use and very objective. Very fast upload and download with the right ISP. A very fair price for such create quality in service.
Cons
- It doesn't support resume concerning file upload and no realtime info of download progress on the recipient end. - Concerning link validation, there is no option to upgrade the date of delete. - It's no possible to retain a partial upload and download.
