MSI is the best PMS system I have ever used
I have always had a great experience with them. They provide great customer service as well.
Pros
I love how anytime you have a problem, they are always so nice to fix it or if you need help with something they are always very nice about it. I love how easy the system's layout is, it doesnt even require training because it is self-explanatory.
Cons
I hate that it's sometimes very slow to load, or that it freezes a lot.

Hotel Consultant Review of CloudPM
I have installed CloudPM in about a half dozen properties. There have been many benefits to the software such as intuitive design which saves on labor, a modern menu system that is easy to navigate and great reporting. I also appreciate the installation process including the handling of credit cards PCI compliance. Many other PMS systems require you to go to a 3rd party for your Gateway which can cost in upwards of a month. CloudPM has this included in the system. When marketing to your customers CloudPM has a great feature that allows you to export your guest's data including emails to an excel or cvs file. We use this on a daily basis which has yielded increased revenue to the property. Revenue Mangement, when changing rates on the fly, CloudPM offers a daily rate manager that you can change rates throughout the day if necessary with ease. In summary, CloudPM offers all the modern features you would come to expect in today's PMS systems at a reasonable price.

Cons

We have some good news to share regarding your two "cons": Silverlight will indeed go, in fact upcoming versions of CloudPM will be completely HTML5 compliant which means better browser compatibility (including mobile browsers!) and improved performance. As for channel managers, we recently partnered with Siteminder and you can expect this interface soon. Thanks for using CloudPM!

So far MSI has been a little challenging. It seems like there are more steps to reaching simple inquiry's. Yet there are features we like. Would not have survived last couple months without the help of Chris Philbrook. He is fantastic. He answered questions quickly and made sure we had what we needed!

A Good platform to use overall
Pros
A really quick implementation and they got us up and running in no time! The tech team is great and they are always on hand whenever we need them. The system itself is really nice and easy to use and some of the reporting is good to help with daily decisions, very flexible approach and they can add what may be required.
Cons
It can be a little slow and this can cause a delay in the task that is being carried out but i must mention this is sometimes the case and in general, it is fine.

Overall, this system has served us well
Cloud PM, being cloud based was easy to access right from the start of using it and didn't require any set up or hardware from MSI on our end. It is also fairly intuitive so the staff are able to pick up the basics quickly. Being a beta hotel meant that there were some glitches along the way and even though we had to call tech support quite often, every single person has been patient and helpful, going above and beyond to solve the problems, add the requested features and iron out the glitches. I am actually surprised at how responsive our representatives and tech support have been. Many of the features and reports we have asked for have been added during the various upgrades and we appreciate how well they listen to our needs. One of the frustrating aspects was how slow the system was working, often timing out or kicking us out all together. Working with Chris we were able to determine that our PC's just did not have the needed requirements to effectively run Cloud PM. He went so far as to send a computer which has the program working so much faster. We still have the issue of the system randomly kicking us out or having to reboot the computer to reset the print function. But really, compared to where we started in July of 2014, Cloud PM runs almost problem free, we have the features we want, and I have reports that make my job easier. Cloud PM is a great program and MSI is a great company to work with.

THE NEXT BEST PAYMENT SYSTEM
We had the opportunity to convert from WinPM to CloudPM. Looking back at it, we are very impressed by the staff and the level of service we received during the installation period. The reason we changed from WinPM to CloudPM was because our server was outdated and would not support WinPM. Now with CloudPM, you do not need to worry about having an external server, it actually comes with the subscription. Here are some features that we thought were GREAT: *Fast navigation to changing daily rates (important in high demand markets) *Detailed reports *Can be accessed ANYWHERE *The audit takes less than 5 minutes to finalize *Check in a group of people with a few clicks Now, if you are in the market for a new payment system, look no further. MSI CloudPM is not only the most affordable option out there, but it's a system with 24-hour customer service and most importantly, friendly staff always ready to help.

MSI CloudPM was a great upgrade to our hotel with an amazing team behind it.
CloudPM is easy to maneuver and puts everything you need at the click of a button. The format is easily laid out to find everything you need to run a property efficiently. It's great that you can access it from anywhere, anytime since it is internet based. MSI is always asking for feedback to make the program better and so far all updates have only made it easier to work with. It's nice to have the MSI team available 24/7 to answer questions or assist with anything. Our properties initial change over experienced a few issues, however, the amazing team at MSI made sure to work with us and fix everything immediately. They worked endlessly to keep us updated and informed on all issues. There was not much interruption in our business as they fully prepared us for this integration. Other than the initial change over issues CloudPM has been a great program and we have not had any problems.

Great Alternative to Server-Based Systems
Our experience overall has been positive - due in part to the years of experience with hospitality venues for MSI, and additionally a plus for us with our Customer Care Manager, Chris Philbrook. As an independent property, we do not see the immediate fixes, updates, or change-request priority that perhaps the major brands would receive - however, Chris has successfully provided the support and means to document our requests and get them routed to their product development team for review. A plus for us - when all systems are in place and functioning well (strong internet, updated computer hardware, etc) the MSI CloudPM works like a charm! Accessible remotely, thoughtfully designed, and user-friendly. A con for us in retrospect - we did not invest in on-site MSI Trainer/Installation at time of cutover. This would have been a much smoother transition, had we taken that extra step.

Overall, a Good System
Overall, we have had a positive experience with CloudPM. It is intuitive and user-friendly. We have everything we need to run our business, and even when a feature is missing, the MSI team is willing to put it in as an upgrade feature. The downside to working with a new program is that there are inevitably hiccups. The system is sometimes slow and shuts down randomly. Sometimes features are missing or do not work correctly. While the support staff can't always help us, they are always courteous and they eventually connect us to someone who can help.

With great ease!!
Opening a new hotel can have it challenges but with MSI Cloud and the amazing trainers we were able to have peace of mind when it came to the Reservation side of things. Everything has it's learning curve but with a click of a button the Front desk was able to get instant online help with the ability for them to jump on the same screen and help walk you through step by step. Chris Philbrook our Customer Service Manager as well as our trainer continued to call us to make sure things were running smoothly and answer any questions that we had. Thank you to the entire training staff as well as the technical support team.
