ADP Workforce Now is a human capital management solution for companies with more than 50 employees. The core capabilities of the solution include human resources management, payroll, benefits, talent management, compliance, time and labor management and analytics and benchmarking.

The fully integrated suite is built on a single database, which automates data synchronization across different components and helps users to minimize manual administrative tasks. The platform also integrates with other HR and business applications via the ADP Marketplace and APIs.

All companies must have a system like the ADP for employee. You get the monthly data as well as the YTD in details. Employee payment data is as accurate as the W-2 provided by the employer

Pros

It is easy to use and data is accurate. The system is upto date in term of the information that you received. Also, you received an email notifying your stub is available

Cons

So far, I don't have any complaints. It was a little bit difficult to coordinate the process but it was not ADP's fault.

If you are looking for a tool that can centralize and answer to all your HR needs then this is it. The portal is very customizable and you can set it up like a webpage for users to go and find all the tools, forms, and information they need.

Cons

I would personally love if there were a some prebuilt templates and layouts to choose from to organize the portal and make it look pretty.

I like the new upgrade where you can search an employee by first or last name. I like the new pay statements set up. The fact that emoloyees can change their password on their if they forget.

Cons

I miss the Archive filter. When we upgraded a lot of our information didn't transfer correctly and we ate still updating it to this date 10 months later.

It has everything a HR solo practitioner needs. I oversee 9 locations and we will be migrating all locations to ADP.

Cons

None. We migrated to the system in June for a new store and it has been a great experience. It offers everything in one place such as HR, Payroll and Benefits Management.

If you have a lot of HR/payroll duties that need tended to and you want to outsource everything ADP might work for you. I would have a look for sure.

Cons

What i have found with ADP is that there is still a lot of work that goes into preparing the data that gets to ADP. So if you think this is going to save alot of time, please check carefully. It depends on the functions you need ADP for.

There has got to be a better software package for managing time worked than this.

Pros

You can manage sick days, benefit agreements and vacation time as well as view benefit accruals and pay periods

Cons

The user interface is terrible. Instead of a unified dashboard, you have to pick supervisor, administrator or employee. And half of the time when approving time-off requests it just errors out and closes the browser.

Integration of punch clocks with the payroll system. There is no need to import or export files during payroll processing. Reports can be customized and are exportable to excel, pdf or csv format.

Cons

It is hard to manipulate or manually change the work hours without affecting the punch clocks. The punches change when the hours are manually changed.

We've been using ADP Workforce for quite some time now and are extremely happy with the smooth payroll process for us twice a month. You can't find a better company than ADP to manage your payroll!

Cons

It took our human resource department a little bit of time to create internal tracking procedures regarding state mandated compliance items. However, we were able to integrate this with Workforce now.

The biggest overall disappointment has been with the call center. I avoid calling it as much as possible as there is a difficult language barrier causing them not to fully understand the help that I am looking to receive.

Pros

The Employee Self Service is user friendly. It takes some workload off of the HR and Payroll staff since employees are able to access their own information.

Cons

We are not able to get the accrual set-up to work accurately. The carry over allotment is hit or miss if it's going to work or not. It needs to be set-up 100% accurately during implementation, going back to try and make corrections is not possible.

*My favorite part of ADP, is how if you shift companies, to another company that uses ADP, YOU RETAIN ALL OLD PAYSTUBS. That is so nice when you're converting jobs, just to have a system where you keep all that old data. I have years of Paychecks from ADP that I have access to.
*I love how it auto calculates time off availability, makes planning time off from work a breeze

Cons

* I feel submitting time off could be a bit more intuitive, if I had to get nitpicky maybe a drag and drop feature

Good stuff but clean up your google results for the employees out there

When I get to the right domain, loggin in and being able to see the following details below is too easy

Cons

The issue I have most with this ADP portal is that if you google ADP login to get where you think you should be to access your info, you may not be at the right place.

Googling it right now:

workforce.adp.com - correct link
my.adp.com - seems like this would be right but it is not
adp.com/logins - seems like this would be right but it is not
other ADP.com sites showing up

They need to clean this up. With the heightening of online security, in my opinion we cant have multiple interfaces showing up on google like this....

This product is amazing. For all aspects of the business it solves problems. Payroll, Scheduling, benefits enrollments, managing taxes and retirement plans announcing company events and important information. This software does it all.

Pros

Easy to clock in and out. You can see your pay statements & PTO benefits. Also can change your tax information if needed. Another nice feature is looking at your time card and you can veiw current, past or next pay period.

Overall very positive. It is quick to put in your time.

Pros

It is quick and easy to use, dropdown menu items provided by management mean that employees will not make mistakes or enter erroneous information.

Cons

The version that I used did not allow putting in of hours by fractions of an hour directly. For example, if I did not remember to keep track of what time I started my work, but I knew from my own timer that I had worked 7.5 hours, I would have to just make up a start time and an end time so that the tracker calculates 7.5 hours, instead of directly just putting in 7.5 hours directly. In other words, it requires you to put a start time and a stop time - which is useful for some jobs, less useful for others where there may be many starts/stops and where it may be easier to just have an employee put in the full time worked.

I had an OK experience with this software. I think there are a lot of good things about it, such as all the functions, but there needs to be some back-end work on making it more usable and easily navigated.

Pros

ADP Workforce Now made it fairly easy to view, add and adjust various payroll options for employees. I liked the large amount of functions that were available to the user.

Cons

I did not find the software to be very user-friendly. There seemed to be a long learning period not only for myself, but my colleagues and those I had to teach to use the program. I also experienced quite a few glitches with the software which could sometimes be frustrating and annoying.
