UNICA use

overall get's the job done and works perfectly except sometimes it's slow since our database is big

Pros

I used unica when I was in IBM, it's a bit technical to use but once you used to it and when you created your flowchart templates it's really easy to launch and test campaigns

Cons

lacking in reporting system and integrations, We used different softwares for reporting

Extremely complex product with tons of capability, ideal only for enterprise

I worked with the campaign portion and eMessage portion of Unica for 2 years. The tool is extremely capable, but in order to do so is also very complex. This product would only be for enterprise class organizations with a dedicated IT team.

Pros

I never found a limitation to what the tool could do.

Cons

Very complex. This is not the tool for everyday marketers to jump into and execute campaigns quickly. This is a massive tool that requires a dedicated technical team.
