An evolving product in a niche market
Pros
The support for this product is good and the application is generally accepted as easy to use.
Cons
The customization ability is a little limited. Some of the company reorganization caused gaps in continuity and confusion. The public health portion of this software (Insight) appears only a second priority to the other mental health suite of software.

LWSI/Netsmart
I work in behavior health and we operate out of LWSI that was bought out by Netsmart. I have absolutely have nothing good to say about LWSI. Netsmart wasted their money on buying out LWSI. They should actually do away with LWSI because it is not worth a penny!
Cons
TIME CONSUMING for both therapist and client. Takes a long time to load (or pull up) documents (i.e. treatment plan, case notes, and etc.) Lack of easy access to EVERYTHING you have to click on this item to get to another and so-on. If a mistake is made, it is not easy to fix or you have to go throug and act of congress to fix it.

EMR for Public Health
Pros
Product has good reporting capability. Some of the modules allow customization. In 2016, the customer support became better. When we called about a problem, a tech called within 24 hours.
Cons
Unable to customize much. We had the original version of Insight. We asked many times to add certain items to the immunization module. Items had to be used by all users, so we were denied. The modules are separate. If you want to add an immunization during a family planning visit, you have to go to the immunization module. I can't speak to the new version. We went with a different software that met our needs better. Insight is a very small part of the software developed by Netsmart.
