Psychiatry-Cloud by WRS Health is a cloud-based integrated electronic health records (EHR) solution that offers integrated practice management, billing services, and marketing services for psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, counselors, and psychologists.

Features of the system include automated appointment reminders, a digital pen for that parses and automatically enters information from charts, prescription medication management, claims scrubbing, a patient portal, and more.

Psychiatry-Cloud is ONC-ATCB certified solution. Users of this system are eligible for MIPS/MACRA incentives. The system also has specific CPT and ICD10 codes for mental and behavioral health. 

Psychiatry-Cloud is subscription priced based on the number of providers in the organization or an optional full revenue cycle management with billing services option based upon a flat percentage of insurance payments. Support and upgrades are included, and discounts are available for organizations with multiple providers and bundled services.

I founded Mental Health Alliance in Alliance, NE in August 2009. I am an APRN and I work with four therapists at four additional locations. I am the sole prescriber. Almost two-thirds of my patients are Medicaid patients. I treat between 15 and 17 patients on a daily basis. I travel back and forth to all of the locations, some of which are 60 miles away. Prior to Waiting Room Solutions I had many problems with my EMR. Their customer service was terrible and I had severe billing issues. After evaluating five EMRs, I selected WRS. WRS customer service is absolutely outstanding. Whenever I have a question, WRS is available. I don’t have to track anybody down. They respond immediately. Our revenue has increased since using WRS Billing Module. I am getting paid for what I do and I’m getting paid very quickly. WRS was able to straighten out all of my billing problems. Having WRS web-based EMR enables me to see patients’ charts from any location at any time. Even when I’m at the hospital or the emergency room, I can look at the patient’s records. Waiting Room Solutions' e-prescribing capability is helping me to provide fast service to my patients. It is also helping me to track prescriptions. I can view the day I wrote the Rx, the date it was refilled, and which pharmacy received the prescription. Another beneficial WRS feature that enhances patient care is WRS Patient Portal. My patients receive their test results via the portal and that makes it easy for us to review their test results together. Charting with WRS is very easy. WRS enables me to provide accurate documentation. When students do their rotations at my practice they use WRS customized Psychiatry templates. WRS EHR is very easy and flexible.

I am a Practice Administrator and Billing Manager at Connecticut Behavioral Health Associates in New London, CT. Our Psychiatry and Behavioral Health practice has three locations in CT and we have over 20 providers. We went live with WRS in August 2012. Since using WRS Billing Module our revenue has increased. We see very few claims that are rejected. We did not have an EMR prior to WRS. We had a billing and practice management system. I was part of the search team for an EMR and we felt that it was not practical to have two separate companies—we needed an integrated system. One of the benefits of WRS is that when our providers create their note, WRS creates a claim automatically. We can view the claim, all you have to do is just hit a button and the claim is sent out. Auto posting is also a plus. Having a web-based system instead of a server-based system is very advantageous. I can access WRS when I am at home and I need to do work. It’s a great benefit to have the convenience of accessing the system from any place at any time. Finally, the WRS Team is excellent. They provide assistance when we need it. They are also very responsive when we need to make an update or we make a request to them to create certain reports for us.

One of the Worst!

Pros

The system is relatively easy to use but it is too rigid. The templates are not in compliance with current E & M coding

Cons

Poor technical support. There is no tech support phone number to call. You have to put in a "support ticket". More often than not the answer to your problem is "No one else is having that problem" or you get no response at all.

Getting Worse!

We are stuck with this product! Customer support is non-existent. If you put in a support ticket you are not likely to get any resolution. If you are told it has been sent to "Development" that is a black hole and you will never get a solution or an answer. The Clearinghouse they are using for electronic claims is horrible (PhiCure). We have experienced so many problems with billing. WRS is not offering any support. WRS billing is horrible. We had so many unpaid claims, I complained. Do not do that. When I complained they dumped us and I had to find a new biller. We still have unpaid claims that will never be paid due to untimely filing. The product is very rigid. You cannot make any changes to templates. The templates available for our specialty do not meet the criteria for the E & M codes. The changes in more specific ICD10 codes are not accepted in WRS.

I like pretty much everything about this product and vendor: how easy WRS is to use, how fast you learn it, and how help is always a phone call away.

Cons

There is not much I don't like about this EMR. The only thing I would add is some kind of flag for emergency messages.

WRS is user friendly and very easy, no complaints at all, providers and staff are loving it.

Cons

Running reports is a little challenging and it takes a longer time to get what you need.

It's a great software, easy to use, with all the tool that you need to operate with easy a doctor's practice. We implement the software in 2 months and it woks like a charm. Customer service is awesome! The implementation was done with ease. The Doctor is able to see more patients in less time become of the simple process of creating a note. We are very happy.

With many of the training sessions they tell it will be 30 mins, but takes an hour. I think the training could be more structured. Also many of the self training videos seem outdated
