Pros

Monday is largely adaptable to what a wide range of teams might need. You can customize quite a few fields and columns, and you can see a project timeline all in one place.

Cons

The interface can be clunky and confusing because of varying colors used. One massive miss is that there is no page you can click on that simply gives you a list of YOUR specific tasks. There is only the "boards" for each project, or however you set it up. Because of this, I felt it didn't contribute to my productivity the way I had hoped. I had to go through each project to find all my tasks, which in many ways, defeated the point of what I wanted it for.

Is really simple to get started and the UI is cool, following the new UI / UX development trends, it has lots of functionalities that help you organize your projects and collaborate with your teamworkers.

Cons

I honestly do not appreciate the price, I think is kind of expensive if you compare it with similar products, some of them are free and only pay for extra features but anyway, without that in mind is a fair option to organize your workload.

Overall great for tracking progress of projects or tasks, has increased transparency and communication in our organization.

Pros

Great for tracking progress that is visible to the entire team. allows for a centralized location to post updates and have the entire team have access.

Cons

Regular updates mean that some features you may have been using might not be available anymore at some point. (ie. Autoscroll in full screen)

Pros

When my team initially demo'ed monday.com, we were very impressed with the overall user interface and customizability. It is truly a beautiful tool to work with, and has many features to increase productivity and collaboration. The sheer number of features was almost a distraction at first, but this is clearly a powerful tool which a dynamic team could employ in really wonderful ways.

Cons

The biggest con would be price, considering other productivity and collaboration tools which offer robust feature sets as well could easily be had for a lower cost. Additionally, my team would have loved the ability to markup PDF files, but this is currently not an option.

I wish I had known about this product long before I did! It would have saved us a ton of time. If you’re currently using trello or google sheets to track candidates or managing multiple projects I suggest giving Monday.com a try!

Pros

I love Monday.com. My team and I were using Trello for the longest time and also excel documents. Monday is the perfect combo of both of those. We specifically use Monday to track candidates during the recruiting process. Love how easy to use the platform is. You can search between boards which is extremely useful if you have a lot of clients and want to search by keywords or by skillset. You can use #’s to link things as well. not 100% on how to do it yet but we’re getting the hang of it. This product is perfect for what we need and was very affordable. 10/10 recommend.

Cons

The only suggestion I have for them and I’ve messaged them directly is creating custom colors for the various labels. They give you about 15 default colors but we’ve maxed that out and now same colors for different labels…not a HUGE thing but definitely would be an easy tweak.

Pros

It's Kanban-based so it's visually stunning. It's easy to use once you get it set up. It has a fair amount of features for free but can get pricey once you start adding full functionality. The more I use it the more I like it.

Cons

It can be a pain to set up. It's even more difficult to get clients onboard with it because non-project managers can get bogged down if they don't already know how to use PM software.

Pros

Its very flexible and can be used across the business for lots of different types of jobs. It's UI is also nice.

Cons

Once you take the plunge and pay for your team, you start getting used to it and realise that they have restricted certain features if you're not paying for the next level up. Often, they are pretty basic features such as searching for pulses (the items of work) and if you're using it properly, you can have hundreds of them. You also can't see change logs that are more than a week old. These are gritty little things that are just plain annoying because they arent cheap in the first place and we only have a small team. One of our pulses is now to find an alternative!

I would definitely recommend Monday.com to any company trying to consolidate and share information throughout their organization.

I really loved monday.com. I was looking for a new management site to use because I love to color code everything and trello just was not offering a lot of options for there free membership. I saw an ad on tv saying that Monday.com was free and so I jumped at the opportunity to give it a go. I fell in love with all the customizing you could do. The website was easy to set up and it allows for you to set your own tags as well as assigned people. It even has a mobile app you could use.

Although Monday.com was an excellent site there were something that did bother me. For example the commerical said the site was Free. However, it is not free it is a free trial and after that you have to sign up for a membership. Which is not a problem because I don't mind paying for a product, but when you're using it just to simply keep track of things and you only a solo person using it, it is a little pricey. They even charge for a basic plan that doesn't offer a lot of features and so I feel it should actually be free. Also, they tend to force the annual plan down your throat and you have to pay close attention to find the monthly membership.

Overall, despite those few things I can say that I do recommend monday.com for those who can afford it, but if you can't afford to pay a monthly or annually membership I would suggest looking for another option.

Pros

Really good organizing
Have the ability to set your own tags
Easy To Use
Has a mobile app

Cons

Tries to Force Annually Membership On You

Wow, this software is so beautifully designed. Being a type-A list-making person, it initially eased so much of my list-induced stress. The software has many of the to-notch qualities I'd want in a task-management tool, from layered lists, calendar view, color-coding, assigning, etc.

Cons

With many functionalities, comes confusion and information overload. I stopped using monday.com because I found that it was no longer simple to use. I found that it took me more time to set all my lists up than actually checking things off my list. I ended up using only a couple functionalities and then only one before deeming notes on my laptop easier for what I needed lists for.

Overall, Monday helped my productivity and forced me to organize my projects based on uniform procedures, which helped keep me on track. The timer addition to pulses also kept my perception of how long certain tasks took me very realistic. Overall Monday is a great software for collaboration of teams in multiple projects.

Pros

Monday has a variety of features to add to "pulses" which function as projects within a board. This can help customize a board with multiple possibilities. From timers to money amount, to tags, to paragraph-length comments, pulses can be customized to the specific board's needs.
Collaboration is enhanced on Monday and maintaining people updated on the status of boards is easy and simple. You can set certain pulses for specific team members and work "together" within a board.

Cons

The only thing I found limiting was the fact that when a column within a pulse is changed all of the pulses within that board change with it. So labeling of columns has to be uniform for all group of pulses within the same board, they cannot be different per group. So all projects have to follow the same flow if they are on the same board.

Monday (or the Bat Cave as we have started to call it to avoid confusion) has been a great resource for our team. With multiple people being involved in 1 project it does a great job of showing where we are with the project what the next steps are and keeps everyone informed with the ability to add notes and tasks. Attaching files makes it easier than having to send a ton of emails and keeps everything in 1 convenient place

Pros

The product has a bright and colorful feel to it. The ability to create multiple boards and involve other people on them is awesome. The notes and next steps are very easy to follow and the ability to attach files and easily download is soooo helpful

Cons

Like many organizational products out thr gate it is a little difficult to learn but their videos and support is MUCH better than other products. Took about 2 weeks and our team is using it seamlessly
