Google Keep Software


 

Google Keep is a cloud-based note-taking and to-do list management solution that can be accessed via a mobile app for Android & iOS devices, a Chrome extension or through a web version. It allows users to categorize notes by various topics and then search them by keyword. Labels or color codes can be added to the notes in order to organize and quickly retrieve them.

Google Keep helps the users in sharing ideas with friends, family and colleagues since it allows collaboration in real time. Users can also record a voice memo and Google Keep will transcribe it so that it can be searched from time to time. It also allows users to set reminders for notes at a particular time or when they reach a particular place.

Notes captured via Google Keep can be converted to a Google Doc, which means that users can expand notes to full-fledged documents. Multiple notes can be consolidated and imported into a single document.

I really like this app because it is easy to put action items, thoughts, ideas etc down when they come up. You can use it on your phone, tablet or laptop and always have it at your fingertip. Really helps keep me on track with my products and sometimes a good idea will come to me and I just put it in from my phone before the thought passes. Helps me stay focused.

Cons

this product is exclusive to google but that is understandable as google has many avenues throughout a project.. No real complaints

This is very easy to access on my computer or on my phone. I can quickly add reminders, notes, or lists. I love using it for groceries

Cons

I would like to see the reminders show up on my calendar. I'm sure there is a way to do this, but I have not figured it out.

Since it was part of google I can access it using my gmail accounts and everything that I encoded thru my phone can be easily transferred to my email account and can be easily shared to concerned individuals.

Cons

It is so nice having a notepad that can be accessed anytime and anywhere but still waiting for some improvements that can surprise me.

What least i encountered is not saved my file when was my laptop accidentally shutdown, but it still fine.

Google Keep was pre-loaded on my Pixel 2 so I started using it. It's a decent note-taking and memory-keeping app that does the job of keeping all your notes and reminders in one place. It's intuitive and well designed and completely free.

Cons

It's not as nitty-gritty as other competitors like Evernote which let you be hyper-organises in the way you make, view and share your notes. I find Google Keep to be overly simplified, to the point where it took me some time to figure out how to add a new note or make a list of reminders.

Overall, the app is really great for taking notes.

Pros

Very easy to use and navigate. I can input notes using my account and have it link to other devices since the notes are saved online. I can customize my notes and change the colors for categorization. It is also good that it is able to add photos for documentation and check boxes for tasks that I note. It automatically creates numeric bullets when you started to number your input.

Cons

It will be much better if the fonts of the notes can be formatted to bold and italicized. Will also be good if bullets can be added.

I benefit in Google Keep because I can sync my notes to all devices. I can take notes in the meeting using my phone/laptop and review it later.

Pros

It is a cloud note and reminder app. I use this as an alternative to my Starbucks planner. It has web app, mobile app (Android and iOS). If I want to take a note, I can just put it in Google Keep.

Cons

It has a simple design. Limited design option. There is no desktop application, I can't take notes without a internet in my Windows laptop and it will sync to the cloud when my internet comes back.
