SutiExpense Software


 

SutiExpense is a cloud-based expense management solution that enables organizations to track expenses, enforce spend policies, book online travel, allocate project expenses, manage approvals and capture expense receipts. The solution is built on an open platform architecture that allows companies to integrate it with Accounting Platforms, Credit Card providers and HR applications.

SutiExpense can be accessed on smartphones. Users can generate, submit, and approve expense reports through native apps for Apple iOS and Android. Receipts can be scanned, faxed, emailed and captured directly from the device’s camera.

SutiExpense lets users import the expense reports into existing accounting systems to avoid manual data entry. It also automates the fraud control by combining the solution with a rule engine approval workflow supported by spend controls. Services are offered on a per user per month basis. Support is available via email, phone and through an online portal.

As a new addition to the AP department as our companies were transitioning from BOA Works to SUTI, I found SUTI a much easier program to use. Everything is very straight forward and there is no drilling down to find the information needed on an employee.

Great system - easy to use.

Pros

As I stated above the system is user friendly and uncomplicated. I like the ability as an administrator to toggle easily between companies and roles.

Cons

I haven't found any. I guess if I have to come up with one, system changes that we weren't aware of in advance. This has not happened very often.

It has not gone down or had issues since I have been using. I like being able to drag the receipts over, that is a time saver.

Cons

I wish you did not have to enter after every entry, being able to cut and paste would be much faster. so many items are duplicated would be nice to be able to drag

Mobility and ability to upload receipts using application is a plus. The stability of the platform is a plus

Cons

Inability to mass code transactions is the biggest drawback. Most of my expenses are repetitive and this feature would be very helpful.

We find our card expenses are turned in more frequently as the users feel the phone app and processes are so easy.

Pros

Able to use across many currencies and countries without issue. The phone app is best a big win for our users.

Cons

Reporting across our 30 programs could be more robust as we currently run individual reports. Suti is working on a solution for us.

Not much. It's a waste of time. The app is faulty so it takes forever to submit a simple report that should take 5 mins or less.

The concept is great. Execution is not great and it ends up costing more time instead of saving time.

Likes Least

How it takes me an hour to submit a simple expense report because it keeps shutting down every time I try to save a submission.;

Recommendations

Don't use it. Just frustrates people and wastes time.

My overall experience has been amazing so far,I will recommend that you add a few update like using the program in an offline mode and then enable you to synchronize when you get online.

Cons

when converting from projected expence to submitted expense it leaves the artifact of "converted" and "draft" behind leaving the solution a little messy and you need to tidy up or you get lost. When you convert it from a pre-approved expence to a real expence it can be chalenging o identify what you converted - so you really need to remember the titles of the approved -pre-expenses later

we now have a one-stop shop for our employees. they can submit their Pcard transactions AND their cash expense reports in this one program. We have gotten some great feed back from the employees as well on how easy it is to use.

Pros

as a user, this software is so simple to use and intuitive. As a program administrator and the one that trains the new employees, it makes life so easy. New employees seem to grasp this very easily. and we find that employees that find the software easy to use, will actually turn in the expense reports timely!!

Cons

our company's coding is a bit "intense" and therefore we do not encourage our employees to attempt to code via the phone app to avoid making mistakes. We do love the app for other features (especially the receipt capturing)

Cons

Suti is not as intuitive as other expense reporting tools that I have used. It took me quite a bit of time to figure out how to add receipts to an expense report that I had already created the first time I used it.

Very, very please with the easy way to use this software. Makes reporting so much faster.

Pros

This has been such a great time saver for me because of not having to fill out paper forms, scanning them and then sending vouchers via email. I can do all my reporting over my phone and submit them as well.

Cons

I can't seem to find in the software settings on my phone to select one country where I live instead of having to select it every time I record an expense for my report. It is always returns to the US.

Thanks for your valuable feedback. The selection of country preference will be added to the mobile solution in a future release. We do have this feature in the desktop solution. Once you add the country under preferences on the desktop, it will automatically sync with your mobile app.

We were looking for a custom solution and Suti was able to meet that need. They were quick to respond and seem to always have a solution.

Pros

Ease of use. Suti was great to work with to meet our needs. Our end users love the multiple ways of getting receipts into the system.

Cons

I don't really have Cons, but if I had to come up with something it would be that the ADMIN section can be a little confusing. Could use more pop ups to explain what some of the settings actually control.

Not every credit card is able to sync with the software. This is a work in progress.
Sometimes, the Software doesn't recognize taxes the way it should. That could be a user issue.
