SurveyMonkey is a cloud-based survey tool that helps users create, send and analyze surveys. Users can email surveys to respondents and post them on their websites and social media profiles to increase response rate. Users can run customer satisfaction surveys to get feedback on products and services, and they can send employee engagement surveys to understand employee satisfaction within the company. The tool allows users to send surveys and check on results from a mobile device.

SurveyMonkey helps users reduce data bias by using question, page, block and order randomization. It provides users with multiple question types including video, matrix, rating, star, slider, A/B testing and ranking questions. Users can personalize respondent experience with advanced survey logic, branching, question and page skip logic and advanced piping. Users can use survey templates or access question banks to prepare surveys.

SurveyMonkey allows users to customize their surveys by adding logos, themes and corporate colors. Pricing is per month. Support is provided via email and phone.

It is a really useful tool and very easy to use. It is easy to create a survey, read the final results and provide an open response. All with simple steps. It can be a bit expensive, but that does not mean it is not excellent to gather the necessary information for my work, all from a more interactive and easily accessible perspective for other users. It has been an effective communication platform, together with my work team allows us to interact directly with clients and in this way obtain all their opinions. In general, the data reports worked perfectly for us to obtain general knowledge about how we work in general aspects.

Pros

It is easy to build and send surveys with a simple and attractive format, analyze all the results automatically, showing all the final results in excellent charts and graphs. It is an incredible alternative that allows you to connect with many people through the different surveys, offering the possibility of collecting all the data in a simple way. It is flexible and very diverse, it contributes with the construction of the surveys, but I can customize it according to all my requirements and objectives, it is totally adapted to my needs. It has very different characteristics and functions. I can create open answers, upload photos and graphics, all together make implementing the software much simpler and incredible.

Cons

The price for a premier version, with some features included, is a bit high; much more than I am willing to pay. It does not seem fair that to include a single feature needed to be able to continue working with the software in a more comfortable way, I have to join completely a different version, much more expensive. Some formats can be a bit limited, it creates some technical conflicts when viewed from another device than the computer version.

- it's very easy to develop a survey
- there is a good bank of survey questions to choose from when developing your survey
- nice design templates you can choose from
- lots of question types (i.e. rating scales, multiple choice, etc.)
- you can set it so that if a respondent answers a question a certain way, they will jump to another question (i.e. if "yes" go to question 2, if "no", skip to question 5)
- you can easily sort through and analyze the results
- there are settings so responses can be made anonymous
- there are settings for when the survey will open and close so will happen automatically
- very inexpensive

Cons

I don't think there is anything that I have found especially lacking especially given the price to use the product. It has done everything I've needed it to do.

Cons

I do not like Survey Monkey's quality since I have noticed that it has varied a lot. Usually before it was pretty good and now it's a little slow and I do not know by least I think they should improve that and add more features and designs.

I like SurveyMonkey because I consider it a pretty good commercial platform and with a quite considerable user experience, it's great to be able to design surveys with a template that they offer you, there is a lot of ease in this platform.

Cons

I think that here you should improve different features that are causing the loss of many users, as it is the rates they currently have, is a subject that must be discussed enough since the benefits do not give a good view for quality-price.

For surveys, don't bother to look elsewhere.

Pros

It works. You have so much customization- even in the free version. The templates they offer are helpful, the reporting is really useful, the ability to sort responses by specific question answers... Really well-designed tool.

Cons

What don't I like? Honestly, complaining about SurveyMonkey is pretty petty. I could complain that I wish I got more than ten questions for free- or more surveys for free- but really, they are a company that need to (and deserve to) be able to pay their employees. So... no cons.

Despite all it is an excellent platform for surveys Creation.

Pros

Survey Monkey is the leader (in my opinion) when it comes to surveys and it is very intuitive. It allows you to create astonishing surveys for personal or also company use. Get your hands on the data you are looking for with different kinds of questions and all sorts of features to make your survey a master piece. Survey Monkey also allows you to get the results and analize them to get the real information behind the data you collect.

On survey Monkey you can:

-Create lots of surveys
-Use different types of questions
-Get organized data for further analisis
-Share your surveys with other users of this platform
-Put images and videos on your surveys

Cons

The thing I like least about Monkey Survey is the fact that (For the moment) you can only share the surveys with other people on survey monkey's platform and this restriction takes away some of the magic of the software.

Pros

Want to poll your workers around fun topics like company party themes / locations? How about technical tasks, or company goals, or asking for feedback? SurveyMonkey provides a great platform to make tasks fun and simple, and also the option to remain anonymous when submitting information. Our company gets great use out of this function, and we only look to SurveyMonkey when conducting surveys to look for certain metrics and organize consistent responses. It saves us time from creating our own internal polls.

I became aware of SurveyMonkey while undergoing my postgrad study and needed to conduct scientific research studies for my dissertation topic which involved talent management in a large organisation! SurveyMonkey made gathering all the information and statistics needed to verify my findings very easy! Following this useful introduction, I recommended it’s use in my company and management paid for the full paid version which has enabled the business to gain customer experience feedbacks, address potentially issues and analyse data to provide further support in ensuring customer service improvements!

Cons

Free version as expected has limitations and not customisable into a bespoke version! But an upgrade to a paid version ensures this easily.

Very pleased. Any time I've used SurveyMonkey, I've had a very good experience. I can't think of a time that it didn't work for me.

Pros

I think that the best feature of SurveyMonkey is its ease of use (drag and drop from a question bank, add custom text, simple application of logic, etc) and its customization. You can easily change colors, add logos/photos to brand your survey, and more. It's incredibly easy to use. In addition to that, the data capture portion is easy to use.

Cons

There could always be MORE customization as it relates to fonts and things of that nature, but otherwise, nothing. It's a great tool to have, especially in marketing.

It's very easy to build up a feedback form or information form for our consumers. We can usually draft out a survey and have it out within a couple hours.

Cons

It does have a high cost but it can't be easily exploited like Google's Forms solution that counters it. Still, the cost could be lower.

I like that you can quickly make surveys to get feedback. I use it with my new employees to see where they are at n a wide variety of policy implementations.

Cons

At times it can be difficult to interpret the results and understand all the functions of the software.

I enjoy how quickly you can get finished with each survey. You can manage it with ease.

Cons

You can easily get wrapped into looking for more and more surveys that interest you. And before you know it, you've used up more time doing it than you had planned on doing.

We use this for recruiting as a first step towards interview, for internal employee satisfaction measures, and have toyed with it for patient satisfaction (but abandoned due to HIPAA concerns).

Pros

Love being able to track responses and see individual responses as they come in. Templates are plentiful and great and make it easy to to adapt to a variety of situations. Variety of ways to distribute the survey which is very helpful.

Cons

Interface is a little antiquated. Could use an update to make in more WYSIWYG. Annual subscription is a little hefty, but still worth having. No HIPAA compliance or BAA which limits use in our health care setting.
