Good product

Pros

The best thing about userlytics is how it allows you to quickly get qualitative feedback on a prototype. Quick to setup and the results arrive fast.

Cons

There are a lot of features and many are not obvious.

Reasons for Choosing Userlytics

Userlytics gives qualitative information which other products might not give.

Userlytics is great for cost effective user testing

User testing with userlytics.com has been easy and straightforward. I can train our freelance analysts on it quickly too.

Pros

Userlytics is easy to set-up and get started with. It's cheaper and has been just as effective for our test purposes as usertesting.com.

Cons

This tool will work best if you know how to write user testing tasks and questions before you start using it -- the software won't teach you the best practices, it just gives you a clean framework to implement them. I wish that, like usertesting.com, this tool provided some basic demographic information about the random users when random user testing (range of income bracket, age and gender) so we didn't have to add questions and take up time getting that information from the users.

Reasons for Switching to Userlytics

Cost; usertesting.com raised their prices significantly.

Userlytics Review

The business works well once you are able to do a test, you do get paid, but the app itself is not that great when it comes to the full functions. Some of the functions that are important works well, but the other functions on the app I wish were fixed that I mentioned.

Pros

I used the app on the Iphone 8 plus, and also I like that there is even an app available on the phone. The app icon looks professional and the beginning login layout looks good. The functionality of the app works well on most parts.

Cons

When I attempt to login the app on my phone, it does not allow it to remember my username and password and then it will not login automatically. I have to re-enter it, but am able to get into the app afterwards. When I check the test invitations, completed tests, and missed invites, it does not appear, though I have done plenty of them in the past. The payment screen does work, but the contact screen does not show up when you click on it from the menu options.

Reasons for Switching to Userlytics

The app works better than Userlytics, and it's functionality works better. I receive more tests from their websites and apps.

A

The support from the Userlytics team is great, always on hand to answer any questions and ensure the project runs smoothly. They take your feedback onboard as will actively promote ideas onto the teams roadmap if it helps improve the product overall.

Pros

Userlytics is a fantastic tool to conduct remote moderated / unmoderated research either on desktop or mobile. Their global panel and quality of participants is impressive and I have never had the same participant twice. I use the transcription and annotation feature when watching videos back and appreciate the new features of card sorting and tree testing which was lacking to be competitive with Usertesting.com and UserZoom.

Cons

Heat-maps and click rates would be very useful to incorporate, along with data on how many participants fail certain parts of the screener to identify where the drop off rates are.

Easily accessed user insights.

Pros

Fantastic client support, couldn't speak higher of the support received from Userlytics. Great product, able to easily create tests and access insights. Sharing with stakeholders very easy through results links.

Cons

Some questionnaire logic available in quant survey platforms not available in this product, albeit that's not what the platform is designed for - so barely a con!!
