Change is hard, but is worth it
When we have needed help post implementation, CUSI was there to assist and has provided ongoing support, taken feedback and implemented enhancements that we needed.
CONSWe have had some bumps along the way which were difficult, as is any change.
Reasons for switching to CIS Utility Billing
Wanted to not be handcuffed by something that was customized and needed an off the shelf product.

UMS Review
Since we are using an older version of UMS, most of our issues may be remedied with our upgrade that is set to take place soon. The program, for the most part, does what we need it to do, but I'm sure there are more capabilities than we are aware of. CUSI's support team does an ok job with addressing our issues, but there are times when we have to send a follow up email when something is time sensitive. Their response time has gotten much better in the past few months, however. I do see that a lot of the issues we are having are upgrade/enhancement topics so I praise them for that! We are hopeful that we are able to continue to grow with CUSI as our relationship is a learning experience for the both of us.

Love the Team!
Great! The overall experience is great. With every company there are glitches. But the techs try and get ya figured out as quickly as they can

IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT!!!
We highly recommend CUSI to any utility company looking to streamline their billing system.
PROSOur water district is eleven years young. After demonstrations from two other software providers, it was clear that CUSI was the group to go with! In the early days of implementation, customer and service/account set up, we were put at ease and led through the various functions of the software by a very friendly and competent technical support staff. We remember fondly Marvin, Jonathan, Jennifer and especially Lori, (the real-live receptionist) who recognized my voice before I could even say what company I was with. The CUSI tech support has always been courteous and exceptional while showing a good sense of humor by entertaining my somewhat quirky sense of humor. We have been approached by software companies wanting to lure us away from our happy home with CUSI but there has never been a reason to even read their literature. As the saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don fix it!"
CONSWe really have had no bad experience with the software or the tech support group. Although that "date sensitive" thing was hard to accept in the beginning!
