We are absolutely thrilled to join the Hostaway family
We love how intuitive it is to use it. The onboarding process is very easy to follow and [sensitive content hidden] from Onboarding Team has been absolutely amazing! The integration of the OTAs has been instant, the payment system is great, the booking engine seems quite easy to use too. We've been using it for less than a month but it is already saving us so much time with the automation of all the processes.
CONSSo far, the only issue we have is that there is no way to tag the apartments or mark the reservations with a tag/note "early check-in" or "luggage drop off" in the App so our team can be notified, can easily see the changes and prioritize cleaning of those apartments. That would be a brilliant addition in the future!

Deceiving Sales Proposal & Lack of Customer Service
I was really excited for Hostaway. I loved the look and feel of the system, the features seemed great, although I didn't get far enough to use them.
CONSI manage properties with several owners, so I need reporting at the unit level. This was a specific feature and requested and repeatedly spoke about with my sales representative. $500 later between onboarding fees & first month, I was told that that wasn't available, no money back. Disappointed to say the least! Onboarding can take 10 days to 2 weeks for your first session and time between onboarding sessions is too long considering they only give you a short period of time to access it.

Hostaway - good but painful!
We moved from Hostify to Hostway due to the greater amount of features available. Whilst we still believe we did that right thing it has taken a time, effort and money to get things working well. Even now, 2 months later we are uncovering syncing errors which have cost us dearly. Anyone thinking of using this product needs to make absolutely sure that data is being snycronised correctly. It's also worth noting that whilst Hostaway has a very in depth online help centre the actual customer services is frustrating whereby agents don't seem to understand the problems.

Don’t use Hostaway. You will regret it.
Negative in the extreme. We are having to go to court to try and get money back that hostaway charged us after canceling. Don’t let them get your financial info. You will regret it.
CONSHostaway was a total ripoff. Horrible customer support and very difficult to use. And if you do use it you will have a very difficult time getting rid of it. They billed me even after canceling and refused to refund money. And it took weeks to relist properties in VRBO after canceling HOSTAWAY resulting in major losses.
