Pros/Cons
Pros
- This application software is so easy to understand and use and a good replacement for Photoshop. People who are looking for an affordable and better way to design should switch to Affinity.
- If you are new to design and illustration, Affinity Designer is a great option with a great set of tools that will help you materialize your ideas.
- The price includes all updates within that version, and it updates enough to maintain user confidence. Overall, my opinion is that if you care about graphics of any kind, this is a tool worth having.
Cons
- There were a couple of features that I used in other softwares that were missing.
- The only con I have encountered so far is the lack of a button you can hold to switch to colorpicker.
- If there's any degree of complexity (meaning more than one shape), it's going to be an absolute disaster to work with in Designer.
Pros
- When I first tried using Sketchbook I thought it would be so hard but I ended having fun. Sketching during my free time is just relaxing and fun.
- Sketchbook can be a excellent program if you're trying to find a good drawing program, i use sketchbook to draw the characters of my story and works perfectly.
- I absolutely love this app for digital art, to create fun and festive backgrounds for photos and as a relaxing and an enjoyable hobby.
Cons
- Limited amount of layers and can be quite tedious because some tools are scattered in other tabs.
- The options available for modifying text are limited, which hinders working on designs that require complex text formatting.
- Sometime the custom brush don't work properly. Some tools are hard to find and not easy.
