  • Pros

  • I like how easy to use it is. I love how everything's kind of built out so you can just kind of give it to people and even without any training you can have them be salespeople for you.
  • Super fast, super easy, it makes the work very efficient, saving time. Plus, clients understand everything perfectly.
  • We had NO formal means of retaining client info before PV and are THANKFUL to have found SUCH a comprehensive platform to house ALL of our Catering needs -- THANKS FOR EVERYTHING PERFECT VENUE.
  • Cons

  • I then forward to client & they do a wire that way. Menu update & menu setting is terrible & hard to read, as it puts the menu name in a small 2 inch width column so it's half a page long sometimes.
  • There is no way to pull a report to see what menu items you have to check what you have. I found a couple duplicate menu items, which were missed bc I didn't see them.
  • In the mobile version, I cannot sort the events as I do in the desktop version. Also, sometimes response to leads might go in spam.

  • My company has been using Gather for 3+ years now and could not be more satisfied. It is a wonderful platform that helps us run at top performance while delivering easy and clean customer experience.
  • It's extremely user friendly, customer support is fantastic, and my favorite part is the time it saves me.
  • I love the ability to import email response templates and BEO templates. Customer service is super friendly and fast.
  • Cons

  • The annoying, time wasting and the unnecessary notifications. I have nightmares about those dreadful notifications.
  • Sometimes the information we put in the system is also not updated properly and we need to refresh the page a few times. We've missed or messed up catering orders for that reason.
  • The chef BEO includes the bar information which is unnecessary and can be confusing. According to everyone I've spoke with this is unavoidable and there is nothing they can do about it.
