Google Meet Software

Google Meet is a video conferencing app. It is the business-oriented version of Google's Hangouts platform and is suitable for businesses of all sizes. The solution enables users to make video calls with up to 30 users per high-definition video meeting.

The app allows users to join pre-scheduled meetings from calendar events, choose a link, enter meeting code and even dial in from their phones if the invitation includes a phone number. Google Meet integrates with G Suite versions of Google Calendar and Gmail and shows the complete list of participants and scheduled meetings. It shows a "join" button for users to connect to the meeting and provides options to mute and turn off the video during the meeting.

Google Meet allows users to dial in phone numbers to access meetings, thus enabling users with slow or no internet connection to call in. However, dial-in numbers are only available to the G Suite enterprise edition customers.

Pros

What I like most about Google Meet is that this platform is one of the best to be able to make video calls and conferences, in this way it provides the users with an integral quality in each video transmission, it is something really fantastic.

Cons

What I do not like about Google Meet is the long time it takes to establish a video call connection, it is true that being on the call, everything changes, and it becomes somewhat faster, but has many erorres when connecting in video call with another person

Pros

It's very easy and intuitive to use, you only need the email address of the people you want to be in conference with and that's enough. Good video and audio quality, not many skips on the audio.

Cons

It may be too simple for certain applications and lack features you may want in a conference tool, also I've been experiencing some skips on video.

Google Meet is super easy to use. Just type in the email address of the person you want to meet, and it calls them directly in the browser.

Pros

Google Meet has the best video quality that can be in the video call market, and also, it offers stability in every group call that is made, generating trust in the customers, since the interferences here do not exist, everything is done in a way fluid and without errors.

Cons

I would like Google Meet to incorporate a chat, so that people can communicate through other means, this would generate a better confidence among the users who are in the call and will give them the opportunity to ask anything.

Ultimately I'm a big google fan and will be using G-Meet for all my calls and collaborations on our projects as some individuals live out of state.

Pros

Pretty happy with how simple and easy it is to use. I needed something more reliable and haven't had too many hiccups yet. I mostly use it for conference calls and find it extremely helpful to be able too share calendars and see availability when setting up a call. File sharing is a breeze, love how I can see all the changes made and stay up to date when multiple individuals are working on the same project.

Cons

Simple is good and bad. Wishing there was a little more flare to some of their features to beef up my presentations. Again easy is the best but sometimes that cuts out the enhancements.

Pros

I use most of their apps on a daily basis. Gmail is a super effective yet light weight email app (highly obvious point). But what stood out most for me is as a regular user of google sheets and google docs, the ability to work on a document while sharing the same with co-workers/clients across the world has worked like a charm. Added advantage is the ease of access using mobile apps as well. I can stay connected even when away from my systems.

Cons

Honestly speaking, haven't really found any cons thus far. Google appears to have put in quite a bit of thought to make a good-for-all-types system.

Great integration. It's an entire platform that you can use from your laptop, desktop, phone, tablet, chromebook... anything!

Pros

I like the integration with G Suite. It's all integrated: email, Drive (file storage and sharing), Docs (Word), Sheets (Excel), drawing tools, etc. etc. There are a lot of powerful 'web apps' built in to G Suite.

Cons

1) Compatibility with Microsoft formats. We all know that Microsoft Office was king for basically ever. And many companies still use Office. Once in a while, we will send/share a document with a partner and they won't be able to open it (or they are unsure of HOW to open it). Everyone in the world has used Microsoft Office, and there are a few scenarios when we have created a file using G Suite, and our customer/partner can't open it.

2) .PDF compatibility. Where to begin? We all know that Adobe wants to own .pdf files. Everyone uses .pdfs, but you know you need a paid version or subscription of Adobe Acrobat if you want to make any significant edits to a .pdf. There is no built-in pdf editor in G Suite. There are a few 3rd party pdf editors that integrate with G Suite, but none of them are as powerful as Adobe Acrobat, and most of them require a purchase or subscription to get full features. And even then, after paying for a 3rd party 'plugin', you can't make major edits to a PDF file like you can with a paid version of Acrobat. This is half Google's fault and half Adobe. But since PDFs are everywhere, there are certainly times when we can't edit PDFs via G Suite and have to turn to Acrobat.

3) Too simplistic. I think the graphic designers at Google had too much control when designing the apps. Office has more edit and format options. G Suite needs to enable more formatting options while keeping it easy to use and easy to learn.

Pros

The G Suite is a seamlessly integrated group of apps and functionality that never ceases to provide exactly what my office needs. As a creative professional its value to me is endless, from storing my work, to creating easy, beautiful spreadsheets, documents, guides, and more, all easily shareable. I've tried other apps for these purposes, but always end up coming back to Google because they've really taken over every aspect of what you need in an office or studio. The G Suite is just so much easier to use than any other apps out there right now, and stronger as a brand and UI. I highly recommend!

Cons

As with any suite of products, there will always be a couple of things that aren't perfect, but I have yet to find them. I'm sure any user will run into one or two problems no matter which brand they choose, but at the end of the day, G Suite is the most convenient of any by far, and integrates easily with any other program (ie, Slack), so it's really not a fair comparison. As far as things I'd personally like to see re-visited by the developers, just an overall buffing out and smoothing of UI for various smaller menus in-app, gmail, and simplify in those areas where there seems to be a few too many choices. Otherwise, it's excellent.

Google G Suites brings in itself a series of solutions of great interest to any company interested in expanding their work horizons, providing them with services that connect you with the globalized world.

Using this software in our company marked a before and after in our operation and therefore I recommend it

Pros

I will not tire of praising this Google service that brings with it many interesting software and tools for the new work demands and its connection with the current market.

The benefits are inexhaustible, storage service in the cloud, preparation of documents, databases, calendars, working groups, updated news, chats that can be connected at the enterprise level, among other tools that only increase productivity and performance in my business.

Thanks to these tools we have been able to link in a more direct way to each of the workers of the different departments, generating collective goals, making real-time reviews of the products produced, adding new perspectives in the tax and fiscal field, and we have drawn visions of the future, based on collaboration between different work teams.

Cons

Although these new packages of services hosted in the cloud are a great solution that optimizes resources and functions of use, it also has its cons, since the internet is essential for them to function optimally. When the Internet fails, Google G Suites begins to fail, these failures significantly reduce the operation of work teams, limits planning and forces us to return to traditional devices (external storage units) to complete the planned activity.

We recommend G Suite exclusively to our customers when it comes to e-mail management. I no longer have to deal with unwanted emails and I can access emails from anywhere ... I think it was an excellent investment.

Pros

It's amazing how easy it is to work with G Suite. Manage emails efficiently, it is also easy to add new accounts and manage existing ones. The administration panel is clear and designed for any user to handle. It is also excellent that G Suite works with all devices. Apart from downloading the Suite to a device. It is also very safe. If a user logs into a device that is not recognized, Google sends a notification. This generates great confidence.

Cons

The only thing I do not like is that G SUITE should have a timer that helps users see how much time they have working on a particular project. If you incorporate this function you would have no complaints regarding operation.

The software has a lot of potential for those who know how to use it. we make the most of google drive as a digital repository. On the other hand, hangouts is an excellent communication tool.
It is extremely easy to use. It does not require extensive technical training, nor follow tutorials. anyone can adapt quickly. It's as easy to use as a gmail.
the fact that google apps for work offers: Gmail, Hangouts, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Groups... makes it a platform that has all the solutions for a serious and demanding work environment. Enough to start using google apps for work, so that each app adapts to the processes of the office, significantly improving the performance of it.
The implementation and adaptation of google apps for work in my office was extremely easy. The interface of the Google platform is incredibly simple and intuitive to use.
The google customer service is excellent. you can count on your technical team, they are there to help.
Do not hesitate to integrate google apps for work into your work routine. It will make life easier for you as you have no idea.

Pros

I sincerely believe that Google GSuite has adapted very well to the needs of my office. The fact that G Suite provides us with a customized domain for our company provides invaluable added value.
Basically google apps for work has all the essential applications to make an office a productive, proactive, dynamic and technological environment.
In our case we make daily use of Gmail, Hangouts, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Groups. Because it allows us to access all the important data at any time and in any place. All apps are synchronized with google drive, so it does not matter if you are at home or traveling, google apps allows you to access all the content that your team handles. It is as if you are continuously immersed in the dynamics of work.
We use Hangouts to communicate in real time. It also allows us to establish videoconferences between several participants, so we can hold a meeting without being all in the same boardroom.
google drive is our digital repository of all the important data that needs to be shared in the easiest and fastest way possible. While Google docs we use it recurrently or it allows us to create documents and edit them in a shared way.
I truly believe that the Google apps for work has solved many inconveniences. It is an extremely useful ally when it comes to working as a team

Cons

I really have nothing to object to in terms of google applications. I think they are very well thought out, designed to satisfy even the most particular needs of the client.

Pros

Everything you need is there so you don't have to buy Microsoft office. If you already have office, GSuite is compatible with it. When your using the office product portion, it is always backing up your work, and you can always go back and retrieve an earlier version of the software should you need too.

Cons

There are the occasional hiccups in compatibility with Microsoft office, for example, if you create a checklist with checkboxes to the left "AKA Bullets" and then upload the document to Drive and open with GSuite, the software does not know how to interpret the checkboxes.

Pros

The other day I made a presentation for an inter-College project. I needed to use charts, graphs, and symbols. I turned to Google Slides and put together a beautiful, cohesive, simple presentation that made my data look good. They had enough options for me to choose the right infographics for my data set.

Cons

If you're using Google Slides, it can be hard to customize the charts and graphs, especially if you need to add an element. For example, it's sometimes hard, once you add another column, let say, to match the color of the pre-made chart.

I get to use it daily because of all of the features.

Pros

It's my favourite software - it's very easy to use, it's free and accessible to everyone, everybody I know is able to use it making it easier to connect with everybody, the interface is simplistic but clean.

Cons

It can go offline at any point depending on the internet and a lot of great features are often hidden.

It saves your time by placing all the business software products you need, into one place.

Pros

It gives you flexibility to do whatever you want. You can set your own logo at the top corner as well. You can change the whole skin while having the strongest back end of google. Google docs, sheets and slides are the extra bounties for you. Per month pricing is really nominal and makes it a must have.

Cons

While talking about its cons, its really hard to find one. But only drawback I found is overall design of programs like Documents, Spreadsheets, etc. in comparison with Apple's Numbers and Pages. G Suite is lacking in its ability to make any document look incredible.

Pros

G Suite is so easy to use and it's awesome because it allows you to sync with all Google products. The setup is so easy as it guides you through everything in detail step by step. You can sign into G Suite using Gmail and you can use it on almost any device. G Suite is just a like a Gmail account but it is with your own domain. G suite allows you to send emails super easily with your own domain and it allows your team to collaborate better. You can edit and work on Google Calendar, Google Docs, and many other online softwares and tools for free and in real time. Everything about Google products like G Suite is fast and most of the things are free to use. You can control your team's projects and communicate with them much better. The support is top notch as it has online chat, phone, and email for whatever is convenient for you (but I guess it comes with a price, the monthly price per user). G Suite is fast, easy to use, and very straight forward.

Cons

G Suite does have a few bugs like not being able to create an account on YouTube the first 30 days your G Suite account is created. Other than that, the pricing is a bit steep compared to how it was free a few years ago.

Pros

The G Suite from Google is a product with various options. It offers three choices of Basic, Business, and Enterprise. I use basic as a small business. Basic gives you business email, office style tools, and 30 GB cloud storage. The business email is what shines with G Suite. With Basic, I was able to make my business email with the same domain as my website.

It is very cheap and a steal in my opinion. The 30 GB can come in handy if you do large scale projects but I don't utilize it as a small business. The create documents & other document tools are good too.

Cons

As a small business owner, the only downside I see is the limits of how many business emails you can make. It depends on the size of your business so again it all depends on your company's needs.

I removed costly maintenance of an exchange server, and was able to reduce microsoft office software purchases since implementing as well!

Pros

I ditched my companies exchange server and moved all the users over to gmail using google suite. Email still integrates with outlook, so my users never noticed the change. The only difference that I noticed was that email never went down. Our old exchange server failed constantly, and switching to google suite saved my weekends and nights! No longer do I have to drive to the office at 8:00pm because the sales guys email wont send.

I switched for email service alone, but wow does it come with WAY more than just email. It has been a slow transition, but the number of users that have abandoned outlook and office in favor of g suite is growing! This means I can stop buying new copies of office, and save money!

Cons

There is no dropbox feature in drive that allows me to send a link to a customer and allow them to upload files without logging into google. Other than that, I have zero complaints.

Pros

Instead of having overly complicated systems, google keeps everything KISS- Keep it stupid simple. More companies who offer email and contact services should really use this method

Cons

SOmetimes capturing a solid file system is difficult with google drive. A lot of best practices must be put into action to be super effective.
