Google Meet is a video conferencing app. It is the business-oriented version of Google's Hangouts platform and is suitable for businesses of all sizes. The solution enables users to make video calls with up to 30 users per high-definition video meeting.

The app allows users to join pre-scheduled meetings from calendar events, choose a link, enter meeting code and even dial in from their phones if the invitation includes a phone number. Google Meet integrates with G Suite versions of Google Calendar and Gmail and shows the complete list of participants and scheduled meetings. It shows a "join" button for users to connect to the meeting and provides options to mute and turn off the video during the meeting.

Google Meet allows users to dial in phone numbers to access meetings, thus enabling users with slow or no internet connection to call in. However, dial-in numbers are only available to the G Suite enterprise edition customers.

Perfect for All My Needs

Pros

Everything. It is so easy to use and understand. No learning curve at all! If you need help understanding something, it can be easily sussed out with either very little help or help just from the suite itself. It integrates seamlessly with all the other Google products out there. It is highly accessible and I love using it.

Cons

Not too much, actually. Maybe I wish there was a little more versatility in Docs, specifically.

Pros

I use gmail, drive, calendar,docs and sheets among the G suite applications. I love all of these products. I also love that they provide unlimited storage.

Cons

I think doc isn't as good as Microsoft word.

Pros

Google's Suit is a one-stop-shop for productivity. These collaborative tools work well together, and are clearly made to be intentionally user friendly.

A full productivity suite that just keeps getting better.

Overall I find G Suite easy and familiar, with so many features I haven't even tapped in to. I barely use any other word processing or spreadsheet app any longer, and the stability of Gmail alone is worth the price to me.

Pros

Gmail for business is a fantastic, solid email offering with the absolute best webmail interface and the simplest setup with pretty much every email app there is. Add to this integration with Docs, Sheets, Drive and more and you've got a total win for the money. Google Drive has become fairly ubiquitous and interface improvements have brought it a long way in recent months. Google Drive File Stream is a genius solution to having files accessible from your desktop without taking up space on your hard drive.

Cons

It can be difficult to have more than one Google Account, which I do because of my free usage of gmail in the past. There is no way to merge existing accounts, which is very frustrating. I also wish the Drive storage at the entry level was more. 30 GB is really not much by today's standards.

Working Groups Together Under One Umbrella

It has been a positive experience overall. It has helped to streamline processes and workflow. For example, instead of having to share excel spreadsheets with people over and over in email with little changes, you can all use one central document together.

Pros

Working remotely or in offices with individuals who are in and our and hard to catch, G Suite allows you to work better together. You can drag and drop and share on the go in real-time and that is valuable in a climate where there is constant change and vigilance.

Cons

I wouldn't necessarily say these items are productivity saving apps. It does makes you stay within the G-Drive Family. If your company wants to transition to alternatives or needs are not being met, you have to find a solution inside of the G Suite. You can get locked in.

Great products, especially for kids

Pros

As a teacher, I have to say that I love G Suite. I love that my students can access their work from anywhere. No more worries that their work is gone or they cannot work on it at home (or class) because they forgot their flash drive. This is a genius system. The capabilities are endless. It is comparable to Microsoft products but free. What more can you ask for. I love that it had made computers so much more affordable and easy to get into young kids hands.

Cons

There are small differences between the Docs and Slides than you encounter with Microsoft, but not enough really make it challenging. This is a wonderful package once you get familiar with it.

Works great for our small medical device company

My overall experience is great. I would highly recommend the product to anyone.

Pros

The G Suite helps us keep everything in one place, and makes it easy to store and share documents. I like being able to see the history of document uploads and activity in the folders as well. Adding email accounts is simple and easy when we hire new people.

Cons

The google slides and google sheets don't have quite the functionality when compared to the Microsoft office versions of Powerpoint and Excel.

Pros

I thought it would be a huge headache to set up email for my team. I prioritize features, cost, security, and the ability to use something cloud-based so my employees can access it easily on all of their devices without having to have special access. This was the answer to all my questions. It is so simple to use, it is SO affordable, and I can add/subtract employees as needed and my bill will fluctuate accordingly. I am never charged for features I am not using. Google Drive is an incredible added benefit.

Cons

There isn't really anything I don't like about GSuite. I love it all!

Amazing! Wish I switched sooner.

Pros

Switched from Office 365 to Google Apps for a small private school with about 200 users. Everything got better after we switched. Productivity went up, trouble tickets went down. Implementation with simple and straight forward. I wish we had switched way sooner.

Cons

Only thing I was upset about was that we waited so long to switch.

Pros

I love being able to have a 'virtual' office where everything I need is in one location. Being able to access my calendar, my docs and files, my emails, and so much more all in once place has allowed for more efficiency and more productivity. I love being able to create, organize, and collaborate all from the same platform. I would highly recommend this.

Cons

There are so many features within this software (again, not overwhelming to navigate), but sometimes I feel like I don't know everything that this software can allow me to do. I don't want to be missing out on any cool features or tools.

Awesome set of tools

Pros

G Suite is my all time best set of tools for computing, productivity and collaboration. It has made our life a lot easier by using already available tools rather than configuring and building them e.g. using email service instead of running our own email server.

Pros

It's so great having an email address that is custom to me and my business! There are so many features included in G Suite that I haven't even used them all!

Cons

My only qualm is that I got a new domain name and updated my G suite; however, in certain areas it's still showing up as the old domain name.

Do Business under One Umbrella

My experience is quite good over here I have own business email id and I feel good.

Pros

It's a platform where we can control our all virtual work from here and we can have your own business email account.
