Google Meet are currently providing free access to advanced Meet video-conferencing capabilities for all G Suite and G Suite for Education customers globally until September 30, 2020. Benefits include: Larger meetings, for up to 150 participants per call Live streaming for up to 100,000 viewers within a domain The ability to record meetings and save them to Google Drive Google Meet is part of the GSuite platform and is included in all price plans; Basic, Business, and Enterprise. After September 30, 2020, pricing will be as follows: Basic: Free for up to 100 participants per call. Business Essentials: $10/active user/month for up to 150 participants per call. Enterprise Essentials: Contact them for pricing.

My virtual meeting room
Google Meet has allowed me to work with people around the world, its easy integration has made it easier for me to set up meetings, and the feature of share my screen has allowed me to hold very productive meetings.
PROSIntegration with your Google account, you can generate your virtual meeting from your email, from your calendar, etc. Screen sharing allows you to improve your presentation
CONSIt lacks some features, like being able to make notes about what you are presenting ... and the option of being able to record the meeting or part of the meeting.

A Replacement for Zoom that I Already Had Available
Overall, a great product. I use it for meetings, strategy sessions, and even just virtual hang outs.
PROSGoogle Meet is exactly what it says it is - an online video conferencing tool! Participants can join, chat, talk, observe, and share files on the call. I've used Zoom for a long time, but once I discovered that Meet was already built in to my GSuite subscription, I cancelled it and began to use Meet. The new scheduling features that Google deployed also greatly improves the overall process.
CONSAt first I didn't like the interface, since I was so used to Zoom. Once I got used to it, it was much easier to navigate. The other issue I find is that if someone doesnt have a google account, they get a bit confused when trying to join the call if they're not experienced with it.

I was alerady paying for it, so it was a no brainer.
Reasons for switching to Google Meet
Google Meet was already built in to my GSuite subscription, so paying for Zoom was a waste of my hard earned cash!

Always have technical issues
Poor. It always creates issues during on camera meetings.
PROSIt’s a substitute for me if I don’t have Zoom, Skype or WebEx available. Not my preference.
CONSGoogle Meet doesn’t work properly for on camera meetings especially when I use Chrome browser.

Always conected up to date
optimization of spaces and time, it is not necessary to go to a physical meeting room when instantly from your computer or cell phone you can meet at an unlimited distance.
PROSIt is light and powerful, it has a lot of functionality in our hands, we do not need just a computer, from our mobiles and wherever we are, information instantly.
CONSI have no cons, and that is good when you need everything instantly and be able to have the peace of mind that it will not leave us adrift
