Google Meet is a video conferencing app. It is the business-oriented version of Google's Hangouts platform and is suitable for businesses of all sizes. The solution enables users to make video calls with up to 30 users per high-definition video meeting.

The app allows users to join pre-scheduled meetings from calendar events, choose a link, enter meeting code and even dial in from their phones if the invitation includes a phone number. Google Meet integrates with G Suite versions of Google Calendar and Gmail and shows the complete list of participants and scheduled meetings. It shows a "join" button for users to connect to the meeting and provides options to mute and turn off the video during the meeting.

Google Meet allows users to dial in phone numbers to access meetings, thus enabling users with slow or no internet connection to call in. However, dial-in numbers are only available to the G Suite enterprise edition customers.

We use all of it every day. It's been essential.

    Pros

Well know gmail, docs, etc features that most people can easily come on board with. Love how multiple domains can be added for one account.

    Cons

Over the years we've had issues with authentication controls and their free vs paid features, but things have settled down a bit and it's become easier to manipulate.

I am a heavy G Suite user. I understand that people may not need the same things from G Suite as I do, but if you are looking for an office suite of applications to take control of your work and make you more productive while keeping you on the go this is the suite for you.

    Pros

Everything! There isn't an app in the Google Suite that I don't like. Everything is effective when used the right way. I find myself using Google Docs/Slides/Drive daily and sharing things with fellow teachers, students, and admin so we can brainstorm, reflect, and cut down on the time it would take for one of us to do something. The lesser used apps of the G Suite like Drawings and Keep are fantastic! Again, you can share anything, and there are ways to do whatever you want. I couldn't find myself without the Google Suite.

    Cons

Nothing. Seriously! Everything has a place in education, but I have seen G Suite taking over in health and business.

    Pros

G Suite is about as reliable as it gets when it comes to a business productivity suite / email service. The included applications (Drive, Docs, Sheets) are all fantastic and allow for great collaboration.

    Cons

G Suite does not include as many features as some of its competitors like Office 365. I feel that G Suite has struggled to keep up and innovate on its current platform. Other than that, there really isn't anything negative I have to add.

The reliability of G Suite for our Support mail and other uses has been fantastic for years.

    Pros

The extra time Google takes to make sure G Suite solutions are polished for business use is one of my favorite things. They don't roll the latest features out to G Suite until they know they are ready to go.

    Cons

Not much bad about it. The only con I can think of off the top of my head is how slow new features can sometimes get to G Suite vs normal users, but that's also a good thing to avoid bugs and give them time to polish new stuff up. But sometimes it would be nice if those new features could get to us a bit sooner.

    Value for Money
    Pros

There is a lot of different video calling software which is highly suggested, but we are sticking with the G Suite. It offers more than just the basic video calling feature, but a lot more. Our team favorite feature is the presentation streaming, it is more than we need. It is simply amazing.

    Cons

The integration with Microsoft documents is pretty weak in a sense that sending or receiving files not created in G Suite or Google Drive may be difficult to open or edit.

My overall experience with G suite is positive. It is an affordable option for you and your team to communicate, store and share data. Once you learn where the command and functions are, it is very user friendly.

    Pros

G suite is everything you might need to manage your daily office operations. It helps to navigate through contacts, documenting and more. I especially like how you can easily create and edit documents and share them with your team. I also like the how all the data is instantly storaged.

    Cons

It takes time to get used to G suite and to be able to find everything with ease.

    Pros

G Suite is SO easy to use. I'm sure there are features that we haven't even tapped into, but in general Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive are my favorite. Very user friendly and visually appealing.

    Cons

I think G Suite can be overwhelming to people transitioning over from other systems, but all it takes is practice. There's nothing I don't like about G Suite.

    Pros

It has everything that you need for business use. Docs, Excel sheets, Email domain system. It being entirely cloud-based also means that it can be used from anywhere.

    Cons

While It's entirely cloud-based and Google seems to be one of the most stable services out there, if the cloud were to go down it would be tough to access documents.

Unless you are using some hardcore custom code, G-Suite is the way to go.

    Pros

Easy to use, easy collaboration, easy to set up, and full integration of a lot of third-party software. G Suite has replaced MS Office for us. G Suite has built in redundancy and backup, and Google is rarely hacked effectively, so I am not worried about someone holding our productivity hostage.

    Cons

It is missing some of the functionality of Office. For instance, in excel you have the power to create a lot of different macros using VBA. Appscript is not very VBA friendly, so there is an issue when trying to make it work. Also linking multiple workbooks in Google Sheets is difficult.

G Suite has been very good for our company. We have downsized our MS Office footprint considerably. Our team can work on projects at the same time without having to wait for others to be done with a file. We also have a lot of remote users so having our work in the cloud is a great benefit.

    Pros

G Suite offers great collaboration tools. We can have several users working on a file at the same time. No more unlocking or saving a file first before another user can contribute to a project. Also its great to be able to access our files anywhere from any device and still be secure.

    Cons

When working with files sent to us outside of the company from an MS Office user, sometimes the formatting can get messed up. We really only see this with very complex files.

    Value for Money

Google Drive and Gmail are the go to tools. Folder & file cloud access helps us solve a lot of problems. Collaboration is an added tool for reviewing and finalising stuff. Sheets and Docs still have a few more features to catch up on!

    Pros

The simple interface and processed to create and maintain accounts. The easy steps to get into a collaborative environment.

    Cons

The Admin features can have a lot more controls in taking over individual accounts and access to their files. Though the suspend and transfer ownership option is available, I prefer a more straight forward approach to taking over file/folder ownership.
Also, the auditing should have a quicker and seamless interface!
