Pixabay is one of the best websites where you will get royalty-free images, videos, and media. It can be a great asset to any tech-savvy person like freelancers, content writers, social media marketer, designer or video editor. It is easy to use.

Pixabay is the first choice for my daily stock media library. The media library of pixabay is really great. It offers millions of photos, videos, illustrations, vectors, sound effects, music, and GIFs and it's completely free. If you are looking for copyrighted free media or stock photos, then pixabay is the option for you.

The downside of pixabay, you wouldn't get stunning quality media all the time. It's okay with me because it's free.

Overall Pixabay is the best platform for free images, videos, music and sound effects. I use their videos everyday and I edit them, and I use some of their music and I make sure to read copyrights as some platforms doesn't allow copyrighted music.

I love the fact that I can download videos and sound effects for free and I can use them for anything as long as I edit them not put them out there as they are.

The best videos are on IStock and IStick is very expensive, Pixabay should stand on their own without IStock. You have to make sure to read copyrights and now Canva owns then which we can't use certain images the way we want. Canva and IStock are hoarding good quality products from Pixabay and it is not fair.

Even though the library is not as vast as google it is still an amazing platform for free contents. The istock photos are from a third party site, but they "tease" you and show them first. and its a different site and payment plan to get those.

Ease of use, no costs and it is integrated with all Affinity programs out of the gate. There is nothing to not like about their platform. The best stock from any cost free provider with none of the "you must pay" garbage the others always try and pull!

The image search works really well, and within a couple of minutes of searching and scrolling I can usually find what I need. This is a superb resource. I have to create online learning materials and Pixabay is one of my goto resources for finding high quality images. I would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and have done so a number of times.

Just occasionally I select an image that perfectly fits my needs, only to find out that it is not actually a free image but an iStock image that needs to be purchased. I just wish it were more obvious when this was the case rather than getting to the point of downloading the image to find out it is not free.
