anyone with an iPhone can be a filmer very easily, no - little training required. the software mitigates shooting in the wrong format, and makes sure you know what shots should look like all within the app. Unlimited filmers means you can deploy 100's of people.

need more editing features and ability to move clips from project to project. Would like to be able to capture photos too.

I've work on two project with the Cinebody team and have had amazing experiences with both Cinebody teams. Not only are they beyond accommodating, they also have the video creativity to suggest what will make for great videos. All finished videos of our projects have captured everything we would have hoped for and even more. It such a pleasure to work with Cinebody!

The software is easy to install on your phone which makes it easy for our users. Since it's app based, users have the ability to capture videos anytime since everyone always has their phones with them.

Although I hear it's in the new release, having the ability to capture photos will be an added bonus to the software.

Overall a useful tool. Served its purpose for us on multiple projects. Not too many hangups, reliable.

I like that it forces spec on the phone, so you're covered if someone forgets to optimize their camera settings for recording. I also like that it takes the guesswork out of offloading for less tech-savvy talent.

I dislike the browser UI. Even after using for a while I still find myself clicking around to find something instead of intuitively knowing how to get there, and batch functions are almost non-existent. Why can't we view anything in a list? Or organize into folders? The generated naming conventions for clips are also really weird. Uploads from mobile lag hard if the takes are not super short. When the heck is this thing gonna be available for android?? Also, I gotta say I HATE that it still forces camera orientation for the entire project. Almost every campaign we do has a horizontal AND vertical shot for the same project. Orientation should be PER SHOT like the other settings.

At first, I thought of Cinebody as a novelty and didn't have a use for it. But then I had a quick turn project come in with zero budget and required footage from across the USA. Cinebody was the perfect solution and was easy and cost effective to implement. Since then, I have used it countless times and during the pandemic, it has been my go to software for capturing authentic content from users.

The best part of this software is the ability to utilize the cameras on user's smartphones to capture user generated content anywhere in the world. The shot list makes it easy for average users to understand the direction for each shot and ensure they properly capture each shot.

The software is currently only for iOS, but there are work arounds for android users. I would also like a "download all footage" feature.

Cinebody was an excellent company to deal with. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and his team were hands on, making sure we knew how to deploy the software. They would always check in and let us know of updates, and encouraged us to reach out if we had any campaigns or exciting ideas we wanted to incorporate Cinebody into.

The best part of Cinebody is being able to create a project with video standards you define. Once a link is created you can email out the link with simple instructions to using the app and watch the videos roll in. It's great for making compilation videos across a global company like mine.

Downloading, reviewing, and accessing the clips can be cumbersome at times.

Cinebody provides a unique opportunity to create content when traditional production isn't possible or necessary. I love the authentic story telling possibilities of working directly with creators to tell their real stories. Especially during the time of COVID-19, big production crews aren't always the best option for authentic story telling! Cinebody has allowed us to create content with people from all over the world!

As a producer, I love the catered, organized experience that Cinebody allows us to give to content creators. Not all content creators are professional filmers. Th Project description and shot list allow us to give more context so they are capturing everything we need for our final deliverable.

Currently, I can't wait for Cinebody to integrate the newest filming capabilities of the iPhone 13. I also think a chat feature would be great for easy communication with the content creators working on my projects.

In the pandemic world, you won't find a better tool to film than Cinebody.

I'm in the business of Customer service and can tell you that [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and his team blew me away. What we produced in the craziest time frame was mind blowing to me. When I though that we were about to launch and meet the deadline, something on our end came up and in my mind we would be thrown off by a couple days. Nope! [SENSITIVE CONTENT] kinda refused to accept that we were gonna miss the deadline. Neither a weekend nor time of day seemed to be a factor. Whelp, we met the deadline. Oh and by the way, we basically did this in less than 10 ten days, which is unheard of! From the stores all the way to the stake holders in the company, the response was phenomenal!

Ease of use, and can make anyone look like a pro.

In all complete and upfront honesty, I cannot think of anything I disliked.

We are creating videos testimonials with people across the country that otherwise we wouldn't be able to access. We are also cutting down on our hardware costs by utilizing cell phones for video capture.

How it allows us to accomplish video projects around the country that are high quality for a reasonable price.

The lack of out of the box storage could be improved.

Our overall experience has been great and our edits keep looking better every year with the constant improvements to our phones video quality.

I love how this app allows you to direct your team to get the shots you absolutely need, while also leaving room for creative freedom. It's great when you end up with additional unique clips you weren't expecting, it makes your final edit that much better!

There has been a couple of people on our teams that didn't use iPhones so they had to use their web browser to upload clips vs downloading the ios app. That being said, the web browser was still very close to the ios app experience and uploading was still a breeze.

Being able to see in real time, anywhere in the world, what has and hasn't been shot, captured and edited makes production across numerous projects, with parallel delivery timelines seamless. Incredible software, supported by one of the best teams in the business.

No real limitations to this software. Once users understand and download, Cinebody becomes an ease to use.

When productions when dark during COVID we were able to bolster sales by producing videos with User Generated Content. When things opened up we found Cinebody to be useful to bolster our high-end content with more day-to-day videos.

It would be really nice to have an android app. The price is a little steep for my clients, however it is really easy to show the value this app provides.

Cinebody has given us the ability to easily capture employee video all over the world, allowing people to contribute who might otherwise not have the chance. The platform is easy to learn, super flexible, and virtually foolproof because the app gets the format right every time and automatically uploads the footage.

Cinebody is in a class by itself. There's nothing else that compares to it, in our experience, so I have no cons to note.

Our Cinebody Producer, Jake was very easy to work with. He guided us along the ins and outs of the program with many examples of how we could get started. He was available whenever we needed. We have had a great experience so far with our projects. Looking forward to using it more.

In rural Alberta, Canada, we have great difficulty bringing video crews to our different locations in the region we serve. The ability to create your crew with the participants who are on location was a great value. It saved in production costs and gave the filmers pride to be able to contribute to the project.

Not having an Android app option to work with. However, we do have a workaround for that.

Overall, I have enjoyed using Cinebody with my team and found it EXTREMELY beneficial during the pandemic to continue creating authentic content that resonated with our audiences.

The ability to write out what shot it is that you exactly want and are able to have it organized so you don't have to spend time sifting through 100 videos to find the one you want!

At times, it's not the most user friendly software for people who are not the most tech-savvy. There have been instances where I have to jump on a call to explain how it works, how to login to a project or use the camera/view the shots.

Cinebody allows us to easily collaborate with the team remotely across our markets which has helped increase the number of assets while reducing turnaround times.

Unfortunately, the app only supports iOS but I understand why. You can still access the browser version from Android which is a happy medium.

First and foremost they are great people. Amazing partners. And they created a product that fills a gap in our need for this type of production. They're on time. On budget. Every time.

I love when we have a project that is perfect for a Cinebody execution. The software, app, the team, the support and the final product are invaluable to us.

The only thing I can think of is that, at least in the past, it was a little clunky for those not on iPhone. But i know the team has put a lot of work toward addressing this - maybe even have solved it by now.

It's a simple solution that's helped us create and share video across our whole company. Video isn't easy to do in a corporate environment with strict IT security and governance. This platform helped us overcome that while working with IT to ensure a secure solution.

It would be great if the software could also include image sharing and audio file sharing too (I think there might be some plans for this).

I love this platform. It is a good alternative solution to capturing content. You can have people/talent submit video on their own, direct the shooter or crowd source. It also allows you to consider filming all over the world without enduring travel cost.

I love that Cinebody is an innovative way of looking at film production. It has alllowed me to complete projects all over the world with ease!!

The most useful feature for us is that Cinebody allows us to control the capture settings to avoid any user error on the part of the person doing the content capture. Another great feature is the automatic upload so that we can view and download the footage in real time.

The only "con" is that I wish it had an android app too.

User friendly; great way to clearly communicate the need of specific shots required. An alternative way of getting footage during the pandemic that opened the door to new, efficient ways of getting supplemental b-roll for projects.

Haven't really had a con. Perhaps if there was some way to see what the user is filming in real time?
