DEBUT is an excellent Screen recording Apps that will make you organized your captions by playing it and saving it to your file folder for further usage in Video Editing.

Easy navigation in terms of Screen Recording and very useful in relation to Film Editing

Almost none because it did not gives me any difficulties in organizing my video captions which is very useful in my Video Editing.

Debut comes with a free version, that still includes all the important features. You can capture different screens and also include yourself with a webcam in the recording. It is very straightforward and doesn't need any big setup.

You can only start and stop the recording in the interface of debut - there is no shortcut to do so while working in another window. That leads to some annoying postproduction, cutting out the beginning and ending.

There is no lag in the screen capture when your are doing training videos. They have put a lot of time and effort into the program so that you can have many apps running at the same time with out fear of crashing your computer or having any delays in your video. The attention to detail in control panel gives you complete control over the entire process. It is definitely pretty tuff to beat and worth the money you will spend on it.

I actually have no complaints at all on this piece of software. It was very well thought out and is very easy to use.

Debut definitely has an edge over the other screen recording software out there. I have used it for over 2 years and each version gets better.

I have used the professional version of Debut video capture software for over 2 years and found the learning curve one of the easiest and fastest out there. The software works well with no loss of video quality from the original recording. NCH software has done a good job with this piece and simplifies the use so that anyone can use it with ease. You can record the screen of your computer or any video to over 60 different file types. You can change compression, quality, size and frame rate of the recordings. Text captions, color, video effects, watermark and green screen effects are all options at your disposal. The software has helped me screen grab a picture or video from other websites. Choose a small area or the entire screen to record or picture grab. Debut is easy to use. Seriously.

I honestly couldn't find one thing that I really disliked about this software. They made it easy to use and gave it plenty of options.

I love Debut and the free trial isn't crippled in its performance so you can see exactly how the app is going to work for your needs. Very reasonably priced, lightweight, and simple to use!

You can go from the process of installing Debut to recording your screen in less than 2 minutes. Many other screen recorders are good for very slow screen movements / changes (such as for a presentation), but Debut can record with a high enough frame rate that it's acceptable for recording full motion movies with no problem and also doesn't cripple your computers processing power, as other recorders can create such a strain that it bogs down the computers performance.

Setting up Debut is extremely easy, however, it is very possible to screw up the settings upon initial installation. This created some initial frustration with using the software, but is easily remedied. As an example, when you install the software, it's initially set to not record any audio and it's buried in the settings in a couple places that you have to access to be able to set the software to record from your computer, or your microphone. You'll only have this frustration once though and once you know where to look in settings, it will be easy to avoid these sorts of trivial problems moving forward.

When doing screen recording, Debut uses less of my PC resources than other professional software, so I don't have any problem in using other software that needs a big chunk of PC power at the same time. (like Ilustrator, for example or even Photoshop).

This piece of software is a part of the NCH suite, which is really practical, it offers a lot of functions at a very inexpensive price and helps me solve a lot of problems in terms of editing and creating videos. I mostly use Debut for screen recording. It's got plenty of options for exporting the videos, depending on the quality and amount of hd space you got and the final usage you need. Compared to Camtasia, for example, I like the fact that it uses way less of my PC resources and way less space on my HD.

It can be a bit difficult to navigate in the beginning, as it's got quite a large menu, but it's not more difficult than , let's say Adobe Premiere Pro's menu which is the professional top tier option for video making. And again, as with other NCH software, once you took a little time to play with it, it is very friendly and it will serve you well in the long term.

For digitizing VHS and other kinds of home movies, it gives excellent quality and gives me a lot of freedom in deciding the quality of capture I am looking for.

Occasionally I've had issues with the sound not recording, however, they've been easily resolved.

i have used many screen recording software's but the Debut video capture is the much easy to use and fast all the usually used video formats support, don't hart the system, smoothly run, and interface is easy to understand and user.

all the features are available , most comprehensive video capture and recording software. in my views its have not any Cons in it.

The most striking feature about Debut is it's ease of use. I use it for making use cases and re-producing a bug and a lot of other things.

Need some keyboard shortcuts for pausing a recording, stopping and for other functionalities.

Extremely simple to use. I can record only the region I wish to record. There are many options like highlighting your cursor and using different colors for mouse clicks, which are quite handy. I am using the Free Trial and Debut along with Video Pad is a great combination. VideoPad allows you to edit the videos you captured from Debut in a flash. The experience is seamless.

I love the software. Need more time to evaluate hence, the free trial period should be stretched. Regardless, it's a good tool to work on.

There is not compromise in quality. its very simple to use. I used this to capture product videos, to make user guides. You don't need a lot of time to figure out this software.

Free Trial Period is very less. If that could go up, it'll be great.
