Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • Apart from outstanding software solutions and technical features, I was very impressed with the support team.
  • People appreciate Loom for its ease of use, quick video recording and sharing capabilities, and the ability to combine screen capture with webcam footage. It enhances remote communication effectively.
  • We are currently on the free version and are capped at 5min videos - which is fine for now. I also love the shared folders and how we can collaboratively organize videos.
  • Cons

  • Once, after recording an 11 minute video, I realized Loom had recorded only 3 minutes, causing severe frustration.
  • NO SUPPORT WHATSOVER you have to look for it. I hate companies that dont provide support right away.
  • Loom recently limited its free version to 5-minute recordings. It forced me to upgrade my account before I really wanted to.

  • Pros

  • It is a simple, easy to use software with robust features to allow good communication via chat, and great live chat. Including blurring the background.
  • Teams overall is great and I’d recommend it. The platform for not just calls is good, but the internal communication that it allows for is second to none.
  • But after playing around with it, we jumped right into it and have only seen great results. Our team is happy and we are happy with the price we pay to utilize this software.
  • Cons

  • Another annoying function is that anyone can mute everyone, resulting in a confusing mess when more than one person tries to speak. A hierarchical approach to the problem would make sense.
  • When you have a bad internet connection, the video and audio are bad compare to zoom with the same internet condition.
  • We had this problem of not being able to connect to Microsoft Teams and the lack of a support channel we were unable to solve the problem.
