I felt like I had a lot of options—characters, icons, and more—to create the perfect video. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros It creates very high-value videos. As a student, I can say that it significantly upgraded my final project. The high-tech company I worked with was very satisfied with the videos I created for them. the features realy easy to use. #### Cons I think it’s quite expensive, and as a student, it’s a bit too much. However, I paid for it because I truly see the value it provides. --- ### Powtoon is a great solution designed to create great business videos and eye-catching presentations. - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Marianela F. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Chemicals - Company size: 51-200 employees - Product usage: Used weekly for more than 2 years - Reviewed: February 2023 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered Powtoon is an excellent graphic design tool, since it is not necessary to have advanced knowledge to create videos, and it can be used from day one, we can quickly familiarize ourselves with the commands and functions, rely on video tutorials, and generate professional results in a very short time. Powtoon allows us to develop amazing things and increase our organizational visibility without investing a lot of time to create exceptional quality products. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros One of the most striking elements of Powtoon is the simplicity of its design, and the ability to generate professional quality products, with multiple applications for institutions that want to make short videos and show a procedure, promote a product, generate interactive instructions, and colorful, and much more. All these applications for daily use increase our possibility of generating content that increases sales, for example, making our brand more established in the market, and the most important thing is that we do not need professionals in the area of graphic design to generate spectacular videos from Powtoon. #### Cons Powtoon has expanded enormously and its use has spread very quickly, which has demanded the need to integrate with third parties to develop greater compatibility with products used in organizations. One of the best forms that Powtoon has adopted is integration through APIs, which guarantees connectivity with multiple existing systems in companies. In addition to that Powtoon is willing to listen to customer needs and constantly increase the number of tested and validated integrations. #### Reasons for switching to Powtoon Powtoon can be used from day one, and we don't need to spend time learning complex features. --- ### Attention grabbing videos - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Linda H. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Primary/ Secondary Education - Company size: 51-200 employees - Product usage: Used monthly for more than 2 years - Reviewed: February 2020 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. I love how this program has so many features and tools, as well as the communication aspect. PowToon is a powerful, relatively easy‑to‑use animation and presentation tool that gives me enough creative freedom to bring most ideas to life. While it occasionally lacks a specific feature or stock asset I’m hoping for, the platform almost always offers a workable alternative—especially with the help of AI generation and upload options. And when I do get stuck, customer service consistently steps in quickly and effectively, which makes a huge difference in keeping projects moving. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 4/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros - Extensive Creative Library: The Premium package offers a wide range of videos, images, and templates, giving me plenty to work with for most projects. - Flexible Creation Options: When I need something that isn’t already in the library, the AI image generator or the ability to upload visuals from PowerPoint lets me create practically any image or video I envision. - Smooth Editing Experience: Adjusting slide content, timing, and visual pacing is intuitive and quick. - Outstanding Customer Support: Whenever I hit a snag, PowToon’s support team responds promptly and is genuinely helpful. #### Cons - Help Library Gaps: Searching for articles on specific topics can be hit‑or‑miss, and sometimes the tutorial I need isn’t easy to locate. - Feature Discoverability: A few tools aren’t immediately obvious in how they work, which can slow down the learning curve. - Character Customization Limits: While functional, the customization options don’t go as deep as I’d like, although my customization desires are ambitious (creatures, historic attire, etc.) - Audio Flexibility: I’d appreciate more control and versatility when working with audio tracks. - Props Library Could Be Larger: The Props section isn’t as extensive as I’d prefer, especially for niche or specialized visuals. --- ### Great tool for corporate training and video creation, with room for improvement in advanced editing - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Alisson R. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Retail - Company size: 1001-5000 employees - Product usage: Used daily for less than 6 months - Reviewed: April 2026 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review. Overall, my experience with Powtoon has been very positive. It is a powerful tool for creating animated and corporate videos, especially for training purposes. While it may not yet have the advanced editing capabilities of specialized video software, it strikes a very good balance between ease of use and functionality. With some improvements in layer management and editing precision, it could become an even stronger solution for professional use. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros Powtoon is a very intuitive and versatile tool for creating professional and engaging videos. It offers a wide variety of templates, characters, and visual elements that make content creation efficient, even for users without advanced design skills. The platform is especially useful for corporate training and internal communications, as it allows you to produce clear and visually appealing materials in a relatively short time. Additionally, the user interface is easy to navigate, and the overall experience is smooth. #### Cons The main area for improvement is the video editing experience, specifically the timeline and layer management. It would be very helpful to have a more advanced view of video layers (audio, music, and visual elements), similar to other video editing tools where you can manage multiple tracks or layers more precisely. This would significantly improve control and efficiency when working on more complex projects. --- ### Canva slide problem but the app was still good with me - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: maxe f. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Accounting - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: Used daily for free trial - Reviewed: April 2026 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review. meh it was somewhat good except for the Canva slide part otherwise it was fine.. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 3/5 - Value for money: 2/5 - Customer support: 4/5 - Functionality: 2/5 #### Pros easy to remember where things are and the video making and the ai I like too #### Cons couldn't upload Canva slide and turn it into a video and the music options were not good at all maybe you guys should use youtube music as your music provider --- ### Great tool for video making - Overall rating: 4/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Alternative Medicine - Company size: 51-200 employees - Product usage: Used monthly for less than 2 years - Reviewed: March 2026 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review.
