Pros
- Intuitive and ease of use: ability to "View As" a group is game-changing, and gives you peace of mind in ensuring that permissions are accurate and important sensitive data is shared correctly.
- Their platform is easy to use, intuitive, and customizable. Their customer support is top notch, and the optical character recognition has been incredibly useful for making documents searchable.
- The diligence feature helps keep everything in one place for Q&A to stay easily organized, track outstanding items and coordinate across a large team. The features are easy to use and intuitive.
Cons
- The Q&A feature felt clunky and confusing. You aren't able to hide questions from specific users without setting up a whole new workflow.
- Occasional lag during high-volume usage. Limited customization options for user interface.
- No real cons for a practical purposes. Pricing can be a bit high.
Pros
- We've been using Firmex as our M&A data room for over 5 years and I'm always impressed with the platform, the company's constant improvement, and the amazing customer service.
- Easy setup, great documentation, amazing customer support, and provide reliability for clients.
- Easy to use, clean, organized well. It's a great tool to keep track of files in a shared but secure place.
Cons
- Sometimes difficulty with users not receiving their invitation emails, the inability to assign different permission levels to different members within a group.
- Attaching a newer version of a document can be difficult at times due to having to change the file name manually.
- Could add some additional document restriction features.
