I use Cloudways for more than 3 years and I'm very satisfied.

I spotted some slow performance from time to time, nothing awful but sometimes annoying. I'm on the lower paid plan anyway.

Costs are very clearly specified and can be monitored in real time.

I love how you can easily spin up new servers, and each server can be configured down to the small details at any time. It means you can have a VPS without having to be a server administrator.

Quick and good chat support. Also nice that you can pay hourly for the service if you just need it a short time.

Easy to set up new servers, helpful support staff, and transparent pricing.

They charge very little for the specifications they give. Better than WP-Engine, and at a lower price.

The support team is just great! they're proactive, hands-on, solving almost everything in both application&server level. Server&Application management is super easy, tons of documentation.

On Cloudways you have to pay for all of these, even for offsite backups. However cheap, you still have to pay.

I use AWS in general, but I find the UI and finding what you need a nightmare especially as you add services, but with Lightsail it is super easy. Although its more limited it has most of what I need.

At this price, I was shocked to know how much support, services and software I was getting, a full operating system either Windows or Linux, and 100% uptime it is just amazing.
