Nspace: 2022 in Review

As with any system or tool, you encounter difficulties that are beyond your control, glitches or changes that may not suit you entirely, and one item that keeps coming back up with Nspace is customer service; my experience has been that of a partnership, I know I can reach out to my rep and he will respond timely and show kindness with his response to my request - and a fix to boot! As a User and an Admin, I could not ask for more. Keep up the great work, Nspace!

PROS

Seamless integration with our return to work and hybrid policies, where staff can use it to suit their individual needs.

CONS

You may encounter some features that developers will make a staple and non-changeable, which may not always work in your favour, am sure they have their reasons; however, Nspace will be happy to work with you to find a solution.

Nspace makes space management easy

The entire experience has been excellent and can't think of anything negative.

PROS

The system is a low-cost option that is easy to deploy and use. The support team was excellent throughout the implementation and continue to be very responsive to any issues.

CONS

Integration with Outlook and/or Microsoft Teams may be a great add-on feature as some users still naturally gravitate to Outlook for booking rooms.

Reason for choosing Nspace

We did look at several vendors that presented a combination of hardware and software solutions, but the costs were just too high which made it difficult to justify and achieve ROI. NSpace presented a simple solution, without the need for hardware costs that was simple to implement, use and manage.

Great for hybrid offices

PROS

Nspace helps us to manage office and desk booking in our office of 500+ hybrid workers. It's great having an app to use, and other than the initial set-up of the office and users, is typically easy and quick to use.

CONS

Updates can be tricky and we have had some issues with access for a few employees, but nothing wide spread. The "behind the scenes" user management and booking stats is very slow, but I know they have been prioritizing this.

The easiest way to book a desk or a room!

PROS

We were able to go from design, to learning, to implementation in a very short period of time. My rep,[sensitive content hidden], was there for every question and made himself available at all times. Working together, we were able to launch the platform into our Microsoft Teams environment, launched the app and online portal as well for all the users. [sensitive content hidden] took the time to train me as an Admin user and continues to be a vital resource if I am in need of anything. We are a small non-profit and we know as we scale our operations we will be able to seamlessly change our set up with Nspace to suite our needs.

CONS

We have some nurses and psw's that work on an hourly basis and currently the desk booking option is set for a block of time (a few hours) or a whole day. Perhaps this might be addressed in the future and was certainly not a deal breaker.

Reason for choosing Nspace

When doing initial research, many other companies bundle services that we did not need but were expected to purchase. Nspace is modular, you can pick and choose the elements that you want and put together a package that makes sense for you. We explained that we will likely need other features in the future (like their visitor check in), and we know we can add these pieces when we are ready to.

Easy to book a workspace with Nspace.

Overall Nspace has been an asset to our office. Booking workspaces is easy either with the app or online. It's easy to designate offices for management. Using it for visitors was a great tool during all the COVID restrictions.

PROS

I find Nspace a great tool to book a workspace and find my team mates that are in the office.

CONS

Sometimes while searching for a team mates location it takes too long and times out.

Easy to use, useful to admin staff, essential to keeping us safe.

Overall, the experience has been successful. My office primarily uses Nspace an a COVID-19 screening tool so the staff and clients can use it to check-in and confirm we are all safe.

PROS

Nspace is just so easy to use which makes it so perfect for a busy accounting office especially in the busy tax season.

CONS

Not everyone is quick to jump to new technology which was a bit of a transition however, its an easy application to use so there wasnt much trouble.

Great so far!

easy to use and lots of extra features compared to competitors.

CONS

Would be great with some more functionality around meeting room bookings. Maybe offers of a screen/tablet to keep outside the meeting rooms to see if they are booked etc.

A Great Solution for Hybrid Workplaces

Their team is great, they worked quickly to get us up and running and are quick to respond on any questions .

PROS

This software was a blessing for our company coming back into a hybrid style office set up. The initial set up was quick and easy, and it integrates directly into our already existing Microsoft Software for secure access. The user interface is easy to navigate and was seamless for our staff to use.

CONS

They are still developing some of the reporting and back end tools which will be essentially to our company analyzing how our workspace is being used to make future real estate decisions. I look forward to some of the features and reports that they are finalizing.

Simple and intuitive workspace booking app

One thing I kept on forgetting is to check into my booking at the beginning of the day. Even though it is very easy to check-in via QR code, I kept on forgetting! I started using the web app and the email with the check-in button I receive is a better process for me to remember to check-in. Recently, I was able to try out Nspace in Teams and it made the process even more easy because the app was integrated within Teams which I use everyday!

PROS

I love the visit planner feature to see when and where my colleagues are booked, so I can coordinate my office visits with them. I can see everyone who has booked in the office for upcoming days too because the profile pictures appear, which is really cool. Booking a desk and room takes a few taps and the interface is really enjoyable to use. Single-sign on makes it really easy to sign in as well.

CONS

I ran into an issue using the app and I was able to contact the support team. The support team was extremely responsive and was able to resolve my issue very quickly. The support that was given to me was incredible so I appreciate that a lot.

Nspace review

The Nspace team has been amazing. They have been very receptive to all the quirks of our different offices and helped offer solutions to some of the configuration challenges we had across the country.

PROS

Ease of configuration and deployment, multiple options in the setup and grouping of desks, workspaces.

CONS

The Floor plan config. While it was easy enough to have the image uploaded, the drawing and creation of the desks is a little tedious (easy, but this can be improved upon).

Nspace Effectiveness

Terrific responsiveness, knowledgeable experts, patient and kind support, making this a product and company, to highly recommend to others with similar needs.

PROS

The rollout by the Nspace team, made this product and easy transition for all staff. The common sense alignment with standard business practices and everyday office booking needs were simple to rollout and be accepted by employees.

CONS

No significant gaps based on our organization's needs. It met our perimeters and filled the needs, specifically with bridging the gap during a pandemic, and a small organization with limited resources. The ease of implementation and acceptance by staff without any internal technical support is one reason to recommend to other like organization for adoption. The Nspace team were fantastic and provided solid guidance on the benefits, and seamlessly implemented very efficiently to all staff.

Reason for choosing Nspace

Other avenues were being considered, not software options like Nspace; once this was demoed, it became an easy decision, as it perfectly complimented the need to be filled at that time.

Great for a hot desk environment

So far a very lovely relationship with our client where the platform was deployed. NSPACE is always willing to improve its product.

PROS

The platform is straightforward to use and manage. With a few clicks, you can book the space desired. From the Admin perspective, controlling which spaces are available from booking and which are reserved using the company's floor plan is excellent.

CONS

The fact that the sync with Microsoft 365 is just one way and we can't see a few details on the booking did not allow us to add screens outside of the boardrooms and meeting rooms with the booking info, so the users can see if the room is booked.

Nspace is very easy to deal with and extremely responsive. They are also keen to get feedback for constant improvement

Awesome tool

PROS

Easy to use especially for desk reservations. Great tool to use as some of our staff are going back to the office for work.

CONS

Sometimes if I don't have the permission that I need, I cannot refresh the staff's attempt to reserve desk. The staff cannot reserve desk when they selected they have Covid by mistake. Overall this product is awesome.

From day one N Space gave a great first impression of customer service. They setup meetings to explain the product and how it works. Throughout the whole process of the implementation, they provided workable timelines and updates for a seamless implementation. I recommend this product.

PROS

The ease of booking desk. Teaching this to our end users was really easy.

CONS

That fact that in order to allow boardroom booking we need to turn off MFA for a global admin account. It doesn't make sense to put ourselves at risk to use one of your features.

Wish you could book further in advance than 2 weeks. Maybe it was set up that way by the administrator

Easy to use, well priced

PROS

We utilize this system for our small organization to allow employees to book desks and meeting spaces. It is very easy to use and configure. The customer support is fantastic and quick to respond with any inquiries or support. There are a couple of features that we wish the system would support but it sounds like the company is working on some of those updates which is great!

CONS

Not totally customizable... there are some times because of our office set up and use the system doesn't work for us. But again, they are working on it.
