Sine is a cloud-based visitor management solution that serves small, midsize and large businesses. It's suitable for a variety of industries including construction, schools, hospitals, offices and property managers. Key features of the solution include visitor registration, automatic notifications, badge printing, reporting and analytics.

A mobile app is available for Android and iOS devices. It provides QR code check in, check out reminders, visitor verification and mobile printing features. Sine offers integration with Outlook, iCal and Google.

Sine is available with both monthly and annual subscription options. It is available worldwide and offers support through email, phone, video tutorial, FAQs and a knowledge base.

Among the Best Guest Management Systems around

It is efficient, and their support is collaborative especially when the user is experiencing various hitches when using the application.

Pros

Can handle a very large number of visitors, especially at the receptionist. The software can easily track the number of visitors in the company, their purpose for visiting and the time they spent.

Cons

The system has a tendency of freezing which dictates the user to reset the whole system. The developers should also an image sign-in protocol for users.

Easy to Use - Great for Visitor Check Ins

Pros

Easy to get set up and running, staff also gets a mobile app to check in visitors and gets notified once visitors arrive

Must Have App

This product keeps me from having to keep paper time cards that occasionally get lost and saves me time and the hassle of trying to figure out someones hours on the clock when they have lost their paper card.

Pros

This app is on everyone's phone here at my company. It makes being out of town or away from the shop easier to keep track of everyone's time that they have worked and it also supports a photo mode and GPS mode to allow you to verify workers location to prevent someone from being late and clocking in early.

Cons

There is no way to confirm if someone is really working the time that they say or just sitting around lackadaisically. Of course you should be able to trust employees but that isn't always the case. on another note this tracks down to minutes on clock time when I usually just round off to quarters

Easy visitor management software.

Pros

Very simple to use, the web site is very useful and cross platform is extremely helpful to sign in from any device.

Cons

I know you get a lot of functionality out of the software but the price is a little to high for amount of use.

Ease of use and setup. friendly graphic design and overall simplicity.

Cons

We wanted to use this for truck drivers login when coming to loading or unloading. There is limited functionality in terms of adding or removing additional fields. In our example also name and surname should be optional or removable. Under one licence you should be able to set up two different functionalities one for guests and contractors and another for drivers. It would be great if you could add additional scanning functionality so that we could track besides arrival and departure time also start of loading or unloading and also finish. With that we could analyse our performance as well.

Sine Review

Accurate view of who is in the building. Tags produced are good quality and helpful. Relieves the receptionist from signing everybody in and having to contact the employee to advise (can be hard to track down) of their arrival.

Pros

Self help, tracking of the guests and automatic notification to the correct officer.

Cons

Time consuming and the printer doesn't always work.

Great product

We were looking for a local solution with better support when required, the support over the trial process was great, I was able to get answers to questions and was lots offered support to help me get going, with that in mind the setup was straight forward little support was needed. We looked at Sine with the view that we could use to check in/out staff at a later date (via the app), helping us keep track of who is on/off site in emergency situations, the SMS function is a great way to also assist here for unaccounted visitors

Pros

Simple to setup and get operational and simple to use from the end point, The App for signing in works a treat for our contractors, also the email alerts when their is an issue like the printer stops helps us be proactive to fix. overall very easy to setup and deploy Recommend checking it out.

Cons

Jump in price between the Medium and Enterprise, another level for "large" I feel would be a good idea. for now the medium plan works for us, so not an issue, bulk SMS is another feature I would like to see in the future

-Customer support is amazing. SINE team members are always prompt in answering chats (by computer & phone). -Follow up with unresolved issues is equally as amazing.

Pros

-User interface is straightforward and easy. Visitors need minimal to no assistance if someone is not in our lobby to assist/check in with.
-Hosts receive immediate notifications by text/email.
-The ability to search a past visitor and easily locate their phone number & email address.
-Paperless records of signed Non Disclosure Agreements & Visitor Policies.

Cons

- Camera image/countdown. 3 seconds sometimes is not long enough for user's. Image gets cut off or they are not ready for the picture.

It can track guests without paperwork.

Cons

It's a little pricey and we would've chosen its competitor if only the competitor was not super expensive. Also, it only works on iPads which is an additional added cost.
