SwipedOn is a cloud-­based visitor management solution suitable for businesses of all sizes across a wide range of industries.  It is equally suitable for nonprofits, schools and public administration. The SwipedOn iPad app allows users to keep track of their visitors and employees using a customizable interface.

Users can select the logo, colors and background for the iPad app to match company branding. SwipedOn supports multiple iPad syncing, a web dashboard, visitor and employee check-in, photo capture, badge printing, non-disclosure and other agreements signing, SMS and email notifications, evacuation reporting, visitor categories and global administrator privileges.

SwipedOn allows users to pre-register visitors, notify employees of visitor arrivals and print custom visitor ID badges with integrated printer hardware. SwipedOn can also be used to keep track of employee attendance and time tracking or to assist with evacuations in case of emergency.

Customer support includes online chat, a comprehensive knowledge base, how-to videos, FAQs and phone support. Pricing is based on number of locations per month.

    Second to none service. I never right reviews and I am doing this because I am blown away with the speed and quality of the chat support.

    Pros

    Very robust software. Has a solution for nearly every item we want to address. Very easy to set-up and use. Great instructions.

    Cons

    The only issue I have is some of the fields are not editable or moveable on the ID Badge and questioning screen at sign in. Hopefully this is updated to allow more customization for different needs in the future. Still a phenomenal product.

    The product does what it claims and does it very well. Great interface, easy to use and the support is always friendly and helpful.

    Pros

    Ease of use and great customer support (timely and knowledgeable)

    Cons

    Only one database, so we can't have people, of identical details, registered on both our sites. A tad frustrating.

    We have compliance requirements which SwipedOn assists with and saves us time writing up visitor list for these requirements; clients interact with it well and impressed by the system.

    Easy set up and ease of use for our visitors. Assists us with our compliance obligations

    The previous software we used for VMS was not cloud based and very outdated looking. This adds to the look of the office and is very easy to setup and use.

    Pros

    Super simple to setup. Just enough customization of the look and very fast and reliable Support. The monthly fee is priced well, also.

    Cons

    Badge customization is lacking. We would like to be able to add information and the option isn't currently there to do it.

    ease of use. clients find the software easy to sign in when visiting our company. The ability to create wall paper is an added bonus. customer service is great and have always responded to my inquiries.

    Cons

    not many options to customize sticker layout. long names get cut off from the stickers. having the option to not have certain log ins print out a sticker would be good.

    Pros

    I like the ease of swiping in and out for staff. The printing of a label for visitors is a pro.

    Cons

    Not so easy to get info back out and report. The labels for the printer are really expensive. Some visitors are afraid of technology

    A perfect solution to our residence hall guest tracking needs! Absolute amazing service!

    This software brought us into compliance with FERPA so we could secure the guest sign-in/out information. SwipedOn streamlined our process and makes it accessible to our office online anytime.

    Pros

    The software is very intuitive with a user interface that makes sense. The best value for our money and customizable for exactly what we need. Training my staff on this took 5 minutes of time. They were able to pick up on it extremely fast.

    Cons

    The only issue I have had is updating my "employee" list with the CSV template provided. If the email address is already in the system it fails the upload. I would like to see the software just update the data for that employee instead of throwing a failure.

    Having the list of people a visitor is here to see and taking legwork away from reception staff by emailing the person automatically is great

    Cons

    be good to have more templates (or create own templates) for name badges, and to have diffrent badges for different visitor types (eg contractor ID and visitor ID)

    Easy to use by visitors. Easy to configure and to setup employees and custom fields.
    I like how we can easily configure our company logo on the iPad and also on the printout badges.

    Cons

    The Web Dashboard could be improved. For example, the timeline shows 2 entries for each visitors (in and out). Couldn't this be on 1 row only that would show the current status of the visitor.
    Otherwise, this makes a dashboard that fills up quickly.

    It would be usefull also to allow the Dashboard the possibility to display active entries for the current workday only. There is way too much old entries showing up. Maybe a switch like: Today / Week / All

    Allowing us to know at all times who is on the premises and who they are visiting

    Pros

    It is easy to use always available and customers really get a buzz out of the ease of entry and the photo. Many people keep the photos to put on their fridge.

    Cons

    We have not had any problems with this software the only thing i would say is that if people are not connected to a company you need to enter something or you cannot continue. It would be good if this was not necessary.

    Pros

    - It allows us to efficiently serve our customers when someone is away from the reception desk.
    - Our clients can easily and quickly check in and let us know that they're here.
    - You can customise the dashboard and add your own branding.
    - We needed help to log into our admin account after a previous employee left the business, and the team at SwipedOn had it all sorted for us within 10 minutes. Their support is so quick and easy!

    Cons

    - Nothing I can really think of! The admin/set up website is really simple to use, so no issues there.

    A trendy reception desk and less waiting time. Also less manual intervention of the receptionnist with the SMS & Mail notification.

    Pros

    User notifications (mail & SMS), the dashboard to manage several sites, beautiful design & user interface. Nice possibilities to customize the layout of the app on ipad. Customer Service really solution oriented.

    Cons

    No AD synchronisation yet.
    No possibility to sort the employees by family names.

    Everyone who visits us loves Swipedon because it's quick, efficient, and easy to use!

    We were able to clean up our reception area by upgrading to this app, and now all our visitors are able to wear a badge that does not require any extra effort on our side. Additionally, we do not have to keep any unnecessary paperwork because we print our visitor agreement when we want and not have to keep on the physical copies as we did before.

    Pros

    We love the functionality of the app it has a screen saver that allows us to showcase what we do,and it is user friendly so we have not has one visitor that could not use the app by themselves.

    Cons

    There are a couple large cons for us when it comes to the app. We do not like that even though you "save" the visitor they still have to resign the visitor agreement each time. Also we do not like that you cannot reprint a picture if for some reason there is an error with the printer.

    It helped us meet our legal safeguarding and vistor management requirements.

    Pros

    It looks good and very professional. Very easy to customize the software to the corporate look of the organization. Support is very good if there are any problems or questions and are very proactive. They are also proactive in regards to EU GDPR, which is good for a company based in New Zealand. It show that they value EU customers. I would say that the product is good value at a decent price point. Vistors comment at how easy the system is to use and how good it looks. Employees find it easy to sign in and out of the office as required.

    Cons

    I really don't have any issues with the software, so would find it hard to have any faults. The only thing I would say is that with us being a school, we prefer not to use full names for our staff on the system. So a little bit more customization on the employee fields and the order in which they appear would be handy, but again this is not a major problem. Please remember that in order to use the software you will need a spare iPad and some form of secure enclosure.

    The best part about this software is the simple user interface in the web-based dashboard. I have used many different applications for this specific purpose and SwipedOn was by far the easiest to get up and running. I would spend hours trying to get the other software offerings set up and looking just how I like it. I was up and running with SwipedOn in 15 minutes. I also feel like the overall look of the application on our iPad looks more professional than any other software offering I have tried. The layout, look, and feel, of the visitor interface is simple, clean, and stylish. I don't ever have to help or explain how to use the application to visitors, it just that easy to use.

    Cons

    I have not come up on anything that I don't like yet. I haven't had SwipedOn in use very long but I have been using applications like this offered by other companies and it is by far the best one that meets our current needs and price point.

    Easier to track employee movements for fire registers, and also notifies individuals of visitor arrival by e-mail.

    Pros

    Functions are streamlined and easy to use, with a highly responsive web UI for administration, and a configurable and customisable UI for the sign-in accounts. Any queries that I have had were swiftly resolved by the very friendly support team.

    Cons

    Difficult to quote any cons about the software. The only thing that springs to mind is possibly extending the app so that the fire register is accessible from phones in the event that the iPad cannot be retrieved.

    Removed our manual methods and smartened up our reception. Easy and quick to use.

    Pros

    Easy to use. Looks good. Intuitive. Multi site availability. Competitive price. Good, quick support network.

    Cons

    The visitor badge label printing is hit and miss. Ipad only. If devoloped for any Android tablet this could be resolved as they are for flexible in terms of allowing wired connectivity.
