SwipedOn is a cloud-­based visitor management solution suitable for businesses of all sizes across a wide range of industries.  It is equally suitable for nonprofits, schools and public administration. The SwipedOn iPad app allows users to keep track of their visitors and employees using a customizable interface.

Users can select the logo, colors and background for the iPad app to match company branding. SwipedOn supports multiple iPad syncing, a web dashboard, visitor and employee check-in, photo capture, badge printing, non-disclosure and other agreements signing, SMS and email notifications, evacuation reporting, visitor categories and global administrator privileges.

SwipedOn allows users to pre-register visitors, notify employees of visitor arrivals and print custom visitor ID badges with integrated printer hardware. SwipedOn can also be used to keep track of employee attendance and time tracking or to assist with evacuations in case of emergency.

Customer support includes online chat, a comprehensive knowledge base, how-to videos, FAQs and phone support. Pricing is based on number of locations per month.

Very easy to setup and install, and is pretty intuitive in how to use it, both as administrator and user. The customer service is incredibly helpful and quick to respond as well.

Cons

There could be more customisation options, e.g. to do away with the signature function and just tap a button instead.

We did away with a system that was at best used sparingly. We can now make it a condition of entry on to our site and the tardiness people have shown to the old system will no longer be a reason to avoid the new. The ease with which both visitors and employees can enter and exit the site while informing the company of their presence is a strength of the software.

Pros

The aesthetic appearance which adds a professional look to a basic, but important task. It allows the company to collect relevant and vital data in a user friendly format. It does away with the old style books and entry passes and replaces it with a system that can be searched at a glance from your computer screen. It professionalises a moribund, out of date process and enhances the initial reaction of visitors. It's an old cliché but first impressions count and with the help of Swipedon visitors to our company have a positive image from the start.

Cons

The lack of site specific functionality. The ability to log in and out between sites where we have multiple iPads. It would be useful to know at which access point visitors/staff entered the site and equally as important to know where they exited. I haven't yet found out how to have a plain background on the welcome screen with just our company logo showing rather than the stock images loaded on to the system.

Great first impression, reliable and simple to use software. Highly likely to recommend.

Pros

Has certainly improved our reception area and added to our professional image. It does it's job well and we have had numerous comments and complements. Fast ID printing and instant SMS notifications take the workload off our front office staff to streamline visitor entry.

Cons

No real negatives. The few issues we have had were dealt with quickly via the live support team portal.

Ticks all the boxes for our health & safety requirements as well as allowing us to capture statistics and information relating to visitors to our building.

Pros

From an admin point of view, I like having the app on my monitor so I can easily monitor the flow of visitors in the building. It's great that I can quickly sign people out as a large majority of them forget to sign out. The notification feature of email and text to the employee works very well. Customer support is very responsive.

Cons

I have used the pre-register function a few times but this could be more efficient by allowing me to import a csv file of attendees for an event.

Took an old paper-based process and modernised it in a digital way that now makes it very automated and easy

Pros

It was effortless to get it up and running and the few questions I did have were answered in record time by the super helpful support team at SwipedOn. The interface is nice and clean. Just simple, modern design that does the job perfectly. I've had lots of positive comments from my visitors using it, which just reinforces that it was the right decision to get rid of the old paper book and move with the times!

Ease-of-use. The product is very straightforward and easy to set-up. We no longer need to print out and file what seems like thousands of forms as they are all saved within the software. The option for SMS notification is something our employees have loved. SwipedOn is one of the cheapest options we found for this software, and they have delivered on every expectation we had.

Visitors have had no problems at all with the product, and some even enjoy having their picture taken. We have had nothing but compliments on the new system.

Also, their customer support is fantastic. They are open to suggestions and it is obvious that they want to produce a quality product.

Swiped On is great software, since we installed it 3 other offices are now using it after their MDs came to our office and saw how great it looks and works.
The software still has some features that we would like to see, but the developers are working on these and are so keen to perfect their product.
I would also like to say that it is rare in business to find a supplier whose product and customer service are at such a high standard.
I only wish all of my suppliers were as helpful! If you ever have any problems, reach out, the guys at Swiped On will get it sorted for you, even if its out of hours.

We have recently installed SwipedOn as a visitor registration app and first impressions are very very good, the app is easy to install, very easy to operate and does everything we require it to do. We have also added the signing in and out for employees option, again for fire/evacuation purposes and everyone seems very at ease using it. Well done!

We researched many options for Visitor tracking. We are a small business with 2 buildings that needed login stations. SwipedOn was by far the most cost efficient and their technical team has been very responsive to our needs and suggestions. I used an older version of SwipedOn that was a stand alone device for a couple of years. It served a purpose. Now that I have the latest version with an internet browser based dashboard I have a better admin experience without having to be physically at the ipad location. I did connect a Brother label printer to generate visitor badges for my guests. Works seamlessly with SwipedOn. The evacuation feature is key for my company and I can use my smartphone to do the role call to see at a glance if everyone is accounted for.
