SwipedOn is a cloud-¬≠based visitor management solution suitable for businesses of all sizes across a wide range of industries.  It is equally suitable for nonprofits, schools and public administration. The SwipedOn iPad app allows users to keep track of their visitors and employees using a customizable interface.

Users can select the logo, colors and background for the iPad app to match company branding. SwipedOn supports multiple iPad syncing, a web dashboard, visitor and employee check-in, photo capture, badge printing, non-disclosure and other agreements signing, SMS and email notifications, evacuation reporting, visitor categories and global administrator privileges.

SwipedOn allows users to pre-register visitors, notify employees of visitor arrivals and print custom visitor ID badges with integrated printer hardware. SwipedOn can also be used to keep track of employee attendance and time tracking or to assist with evacuations in case of emergency.

Customer support includes online chat, a comprehensive knowledge base, how-to videos, FAQs and phone support. Pricing is based on number of locations per month.

When a book is not good enough

We were looking to augment our reception, and this has resolved the challenge for us. It looks as if the facility has been there for years and offers a much better arrival process for prospective clients.

Pros

The software was so easy to configure and to customize for the reception. It was set up so fast and simply that I was sure I'd done something wrong. The custom features are excellent which means that the device looks professional in minutes. It also great value for money as we only required the simple solution but is surprisingly powerful meaning we may yet implement more of the facilities in future. Definitely beats a visitor book.

Cons

As it is Apple only, we had to purchase an iPade to be able to use the software. Would be nice if there was an Android version,

Swiped Onto a better system

We are now able to track office staff and visitors safely on and off site and have the ability to contact visitors via the data capture information. the system has also improved our evacuation process.

Pros

Super easy to configure and setup - many features found in more expensive products are included

Cons

Would be good to have different sign in paths for contractors for example - i am told however that this in included in the road map.

We are using SwipedOn as our site sign on system at the UK and the US sites. Overall it is a very good user friendly system and the team have worked with us to develop and improve the system for our requirements

Pros

I think the ability to report and easy of use.

Cons

Would like to opt out of photo if required and have the option not to remember certain fields when remember me is chosen.
It would be good to be able to select different time zones for users

Generally SwipedOn is a good programme. It has most thigs you'd need from a sign in application. I don't tend to use it too much as our receptionist are the one that work with it daily. The experience I've had is a good one. Any problems I've had, SwipedOn have tried their best to put right straight away or give support for us to be able to do ourselves. Giving information when needed.

Pros

It's relatively easy to use. A lot of it's features are suitable for a company like ours.

Cons

ATM - there isn't an easy way to bulk add staff names onto SwipedOn. Would be great if you erase names list and add a new updated staff list every so often instead of adding lots of individual names.

Tends to go off line a lot but I think this is due to WIFI connections

Quick to Set up, Quick to sign in

We wanted to get rid of our paper sign in book and replace it with a simple digital experience. SwipedOn provided great assistance getting it all set up, and also answering our initial questions when comparing solutions.

Pros

Good customer service to help you set it up initially. After that, it basically runs itself.

Before we selected SwipedOn, we looked at several different sign in apps. SwipedOn was the clear winner for us:
- Simplicity
- All the features we need, none that we don't need
- Inexpensive
- Intuitive for users
- All you need is the name of the person you are visiting, very easy
- web interface available for admins to see the past history of all the sign ins (including names, phone numbers, email addresses, etc. - very useful for marketing follow up).

1. Tap "Sign In"
2. Tap person you are going to visit
3. Read through the health & safety and other wording (customisable message specific to the company).
4. Sign on the ipad that you agree.
5. Ipad will take your picture and send an email to the person you are visiting to notify them of your arrival.
6. A name tag automatically prints out from a small Brother label printer next to the ipad.
7. Done!

Cons

SwipedOn is only for companies that want a "no frills" experience. If you require thousands of features, look elsewhere (for instance, there is no integration with Active Directory).

Currently only works on an ipad. However, this is not a big deal. We bought an ipad lock stand to keep the ipad secure. We also can lock down the ipad into Guided Access Mode. This prevents visitors from accessing anything besides SwipedOn on the ipad.

Non-Descriptive Basic Review

When your business grows, you need this!

Our overall experience has been excellent! No complaints at all, it does exactly what it says it does!

Pros

As our company grew to become much larger, we needed something like SwipedOn with the amount of visitors/meetings we'd have. We found SwipedOn and it's perfect! It's really nice and makes us seem more "professional" when visitors come in and we print them out a visitor's badge!

Cons

There is really nothing at all to not like! Maybe some work on the admin side to make it easier!

Great eVisitors book

Our overall experience is very positive. All the Swiped On staff are very responsive to any questions. I would definitely recommend this product.

Pros

We use SwipedOn across 8 of our sites and its very easy to use. Quick initial set up, easy admin tools and staff & customers find the process seamless.

Cons

You cannot have the same email address across multiple sites so this makes it hard for staff who work out of multiple offices.

Perfect move from manual visitor book to a GDPR compliant tablet system.

Due to GDPR and health & safety we need to move away from out old visitor book. Our old book used to have to be locked away each night to protect the data inside but be available during the day. After testing several solution I found SwipedOn to be the best overall for our requirements. No more having to hide the book, we now have GDPR compliance visitor records with SwipedOn. Since installing SwipedOn every visitor has comments on how professional it is and have all asked about it.

Pros

Extremely easy to deploy, sign up, install app and your setup. Everything in the web management console makes sense and its clear to understand what each section is for. Very professional look, customisable backgrounds and much more. Pre book visitors, roll call, quick and easy sign in and out for visitors.

Cons

I would like to see it available on Android so a lower cost tablet could be used.

Best Pound for Pound Visitor Management Software

Good customer service is excellent with those guys working hard to help me get the system working that suits our site. I can't stress how much value for money you get with this system though, most other systems are 10 x the cost and do not give you 10 x the extra functions, features, usability, looks etc... not even close.

Pros

Very easy to use and set up. Once set up there is very little to management required as it is easy enough for visitors to run through the system themselves. It looks great and has visually improved our sign in area where we get lots of positive comments now. We love the emailing / texting of visitor arrivals on site which makes it a lot easier for employees who aren't stuck in 1 location.

Cons

Greater space in text fields to give more scope to the questioning.

Ability to recognise the need for and issue Permits to Work (Contractor Management). We have done some workarounds so it is used for contractors but it isn't quite designed for that.

SwipedOn is a great product

Pros

Ease of use and price. It works on older hardware so we could use an old iPad for SwipedOn

Cons

The fact that the price jumped when you get to 50 users (we have 53 people here). Also it would be good to have more control over the visitor signature notification area. For instance it would be good to be able to put the signature area at the top of the page rather than at the bottom.

Captures info we need!

Non disclosures tracked - log of visitors- notification of visitors and photo toi!

Pros

Great and easy to use. Keeps all our Non-disclosures in one place - we just download and save to an electronic file! Notifications when people come to see an individual are great both email and SMS!
