Has SMS integrated into it. Much easier to add and remove users than other softphones. Super user friendly and customizable.

Cons:

Can't program multiple extensions to one softphone user just yet but supposedly they will be adding that feature in early to mid 2025.

Pros:

Ease of use for Authentication. No common identity to verify or email to submit, just phone number and password. The ability to choose the option we need and have the flexibility to expand quickly and easily.

Cons:

The installation errors are too vague. If the password is not correct the error is "error downloading", it's not a software installation issue it's an authentication issue.

We have most our eggs in the Sinch basket.

We changed platforms from Broadworks/Webex to Metaswitch and during the implementation Microsoft/Metaswitch sunset the MaxUC product, so we need a solution.

Our experience with Cloud Softphone has been overwhelmingly positive. As a provider, the ability to offer a fully customized, white-label app to our virtual PBX customers adds significant value to our brand. The QR code provisioning is a game-changer; it has drastically reduced the time we spend on technical support for manual configurations. While the pricing for a fully branded app is on the higher side, the reliability, ease of deployment, and simple user interface make it a worthwhile investment for any professional VoIP service.

Pros:

Cloud Softphone is an excellent white-label solution for our virtual PBX clients. The QR code provisioning makes deployment seamless, effectively eliminating manual configuration errors during onboarding. We appreciate the balance of robust functionality with a simple, intuitive interface optimized for voice calls. Additionally, their support team is highly responsive and solution-oriented, ensuring any technical needs are addressed promptly. It is a reliable platform that significantly enhances our overall service offering.

Cons:

The primary drawback we found is that the pricing is quite high for a full branded app. For a business offering virtual PBX services, the investment required for white-labeling can be tough to justify, especially when working with smaller client numbers. Beyond the initial setup, we found that several features we expected to be included are actually extra paid add-ons. This increases the total cost of ownership significantly over time. We believe the value would be much better if more features were bundled together.

At the moment, there are zero cons. The whole process was amazing.

Reasons for choosing Cloud Softphone

After completing testing with both Telviva and Cloud Softphone, we determined Cloud Softphone was the superior option with regards to features, options and cost.
