So many options
Cisco Broadworks solves not only intracompany communication needs, but is also customer/client facing and is very attractive to them for the many features and low cost when compared to other products. With Cisco at the helm you are also able to integrate more Cisco products such as Webex and Webex Contact Center.
PROSCisco Broadworks allows a company to provide many features including SIP calling, video conferencing, messaging. The easy integration and ability to use a vast amount of SIP phone manufacturers and models make it an even more standout choice.
CONSLicensing is very complicated when it comes to features. If not monitored you could easily use two licenses on one user. You can imagine if you have thousands of users how this could snowball in to a huge financial issue.
Reason for choosing Cisco BroadWorks
Cisco Broadworks was chosen for the ease of implementation, cost, support, reputation, and feature availabilty.
Reasons for switching to Cisco BroadWorks
Cisco Broadworks is feature rich with the ability to provide reporting capabilities as well as many different types of contact/call centers. Couple that with the multitenant capability and option to provide services to customers/clients it was an easy decision to switch. While our previous PBX software was good it did not provide the level of service that a growing telecom company requires.
